HOW WE FOUND OURSELVES HERE:
🗺 We sold it all and hit the road back in 2017 - handing the keys back to our rented home + leaving with zero saving....we totally fell in love with the travelling lifestyle and have been sharing our travels on Facebook - after being asked numerous times, so we delivered + are now creating vids to give everyone an insight into our life on the road!
So far we've adventured 27 countries, plus 4 greek islands in our vans alone, rescued 2 puppies and raised them on the road - Cooper from Greece and Leni from Turkiye, we've lived in 3 different vans, inc our self built, off grid 4x4 and now our 7.5 ton truck... lifes for living folks and today is for life!
We hope you enjoy + are super glad you've joined us, welcome aboard 🏴☠️

Great detailed Vlog. Your wagon is not as bad on fuel as I thought it would be. Loved your journeys
Glad you found it helpful… the old wagon don’t do bad given it’s weight hey, we’ve been pretty impressed 👍
Thank you!
So welcome! Hope it was helpful 👍
@@VanJourney really helpful. We did 10 days on nc500 as few months ago to get an idea of costs for us but it’s just not comparable to doing it full time. I’ve been watching you guys for a while 😁
@@jillh4326 aww thank you for watching 🙏
100% costs are always changing, esp heading across borders - there’s much cheaper countries out there than the uk and also going the other way… your trip will have given you a rough idea of the basics 👍 …then you’ve ‘just’ got to budget for the unexpected 😉
Hiya Martin and Kate, thanks for this detailed breakdown of your time with the Iveco motorhome.
Did you mention the actual mpg?
We have a trip planned where we are thinking that we will spend 2 years maybe more but not less and like yourselves no home base. Where we differ is that we're both in our 70s.
I would love a truck, but Marilyn is a bit sceptical (she sorts all the finances out,
which suits me fine)
Thanks for sharing your travels. You have a new subsciber.
Hi,
Thanks for the message, we get 19mpg out of the lorry which we are really pleased with, we never rush anywhere mind.
We’re sure you’ll love travelling for 2 yrs or more, there is so many wonderful places to see. Enjoy.
@@VanJourney 19 is excellent.
Thanks for your reply.
👍
Thank for a great video and the costs. It really helps us understand our spending etc
So glad you found it helpful, thank you 🙏
Loved the videos in turkey 👌
Was the land of magic for us, big ups, big downs and one amazing ride ✨
Nice video im a lorry driver ..do you have to have a tacho graph in that 7.5 tonner ?
No, no tacho in it as it’s private use only. Glad you enjoyed the vid.
