Hey Molder Fox here... With your tune and what you were asking from from the Roxor at that moment, I don't think she let you down one bit! I also think $800 is a great deal. You're very lucky to find one in the states. I couldn't even get a crossmember... Great videos brother. I hope to see you on the trails someday
wow sorry about that... when you're there if you wouldn't mind can you check to see if they have any 2020 automatic trans on the shelf and 2020 transfer cases
I wonder if Wade is looking at a upgrades transmission!? Those gears looked like they should have more than 6500 mile life but then you look at the machining on the case and wonder about the quality.
I am not going to speak for wade but from my perspective I do not think anyone will look into transmission upgrades unless more people start developing issues like I did.
@@jessywayne09 true, I don't think I have heard of many issues. I have 5500 miles on mine and the only issue I have is oil is seeping out between the tranny and transfer case. When I fix it I'm thinking of doing the twin stick upgrade.
Also I'm a bit disappointed in how Roxor handled the vents...I don't live in an area with a lot of water but I will be extending those out like you did
@@DesertRox Yes thats a great idea. Those that do not should change their oil every time they cross water. My first video ever showed how much water I had in my oil and I was shocked. I guess India does not have much water to think about water crossings? I recommend putting a filter on the end of the vent tubes. they sell them at any auto parts store.
Watched with interest here from SA if ever my Thar has gearbox problems witch I doubt after 10 years. Thanks for sharing.

note to self no reverse donuts in my roxor...
Looks like an $800 and several hour lesson in ;"Don't abuse your toys."
How fast are transmissions rated for in reverse?

Your Mahindra roxor current gear box ngt520 or ngt 530 gear box ?

@@DesertRox use that black RTV. It is great for using it on that adapter plate. Drain the oil from the T case before dropping it out.

You said 6,500 miles. Is that accurate or 65,000? When you said daily driver I thought maybe you misspoke. Thanks!
I did not miss speak. 6500 miles is correct. I just rolled over 10k miles this month
If you want to sell the junk trans for cheap let me know.
