My lawn mowers are making their last cut, will blow out the sprinkler system and make one last leaf pick up in two weeks. Very nice little story today, - surprising that so many folks do not know a little English - whether folks want to accept it or not, English is the universal language of the world.

Indonesia is a safe country, as long as you can adapt your culture and follow local guidelines, because Indonesia has a different culture from westerners, especially European and American culture. For example, you cannot drink alcohol in public places, you cannot do anything related to sex in public places
FYI the soldiers who wear desert camo with red berets, they are KOPASKA elite troops ranked 3rd in the world, the ability of 1 KOPASKA is the same as 24 ordinary Indonesian soldiers. KOPASKA only has 3000 soldiers in Indonesia. The number 1 elite force is DENJAKA, there are only 50 of them in Indonesia, the ability of 1 DENJAKA is equivalent to 120 ordinary Indonesian soldiers.
One test that is quite tough is being released in the middle of the sea. The prospective Kopaska members will be released into the sea without being equipped with oxygen cylinders. They had to swim until they reached the shore.

I tried googling as to when the Australian government put Jakarta on their Do Not Travel list, but there are varying periods as to when that happened. I mean, 1997 and a couple of years after that yes, as the whole of Indonesia was pretty sketchy right after Suharto was deposed. And 2002 during the Bali bombings I suppose. But in the 90s I knew of Aussies and Americans who were living comfortably there. And now of course Jakarta is actually safer than even some major cities in the United States.

Mate I just got over how Australia became! A beer is $9, I’m sitting here having a $1 schooner I can do as I like, I can live well and help others out. It’s just the best life.
Yeah you have good and bad days like anything but it’s what I want to do 😎
Indonesia save for everyone, but don't make trouble 😊
✌🏼😁✌🏼
i've talk a lot, why u just show me only when i put that stickers on *ROTFL🤣🤣 btw i've been waited this video for a long time, nice bro enjoy your next trip👍
Hahaha what that you?
Yeah buddy I filmed like 1 hour there and had to cut it all down
Been a few times but not anymore for me. Lots of hidden cost that caused by the local scammer eg: cab driver, fake tourist guide , pick pocketing, seller hassling , money changer and even the tourist agency.
Wow really? I literally ever had a single problem there
Good vlog, thanks, I am an australian university alumni
🍻
2:19 Keep this in mind, These are Armoured Personnel Carrier (APC) if you see any of these, if some of them like these but tracked/ Caterpillar tracks, Those are Infantry Fighting Vehicle (IFV), But if they have Bigger hulls, Turret and Gun, They are a Tank, or in the Modern days Main Battle Tank (MBT)
Terima kasih sir sudah memperkenalkan Jakarta Indonesia 👍👍
btw your vids are great! me my self is indonesian!
The speed dealer sunglasses comment had me laughing quite a bit. America would probably say the same.
😂😂😂
That quick change of the subject from throwing the deep fried banana to the bin to a handshake got me !! 🤣
Hahaha no comment was needed! I’m sure everyone for the idea
@@marcoroamsYes, you have to try it, bro, the highest fastest train in Southeast Asia... the speed is 350 K kilometers, the newest fast train in Southeast Asia, the first in Indonesia, Jakarta - Bandung, lots of tourist attractions in the city of Bandung which is beautiful and comfortable and cool and cool and beautiful...
@@marcoroams"gapapa?" == "is it okay?"
most of the time its okay to sit there and just "look at the menu" while eating your food*, especially you bought your food at the food tenant that is next to the chairs. it will make their shops look "crowded" which implies that most Indonesians believe more customers will come. Most of the time they just want to know what they can do to help you.
*not applicable to bigger vendor but most likely they'll tell you before entering their resto/coffee shop
18:55 you guessed it right but you said 4 options, only 25% detective
Had to pause the video. You said you used to ride those boats for surf life saving?? Were you out doing rescue like Bondi beach? ❤
North Cronulla 🫡😎
@@marcoroams That's really cool. I've only been to the beach once. Oak Island. It was beautiful and terrifying! 😂
Orang indonesia sangat ramah ,,dan sangat menghormati tamu ,,,selagi tamu tidak membuat masalah ,,,
1:58 you had knowledge to shake hand with right hand in Indonesia. That's good. I apreciate
❤️❤️❤️
13:30 hahaha I didn’t expect they allow that 😂
Bro your travels inspire me! I will be in Australia sometime next year. Still planning it out in terms of best times to visit and where to go. 2025 trip. I will be flying into Sydney and would love if you could give me some good insight into nightlife but also daytime ventures. I would prefer to go off the beaten path and the less tourist side , drink in a local bar, hit up a music festival, stay with some Australian families a few nights if possible. I have many other interests but wanted your opinion. Thanks bro for any info
Thanks man 100%
If you need info on Australia message me on Instagram 🙏🏽
Welcome indonesia sir, stay happy you indonesia.
🫡 🇮🇩 thank you!
if you were saying this in 20th century when the country under New Ordo regime, I went along. but now, i doubt, lol.
I, as an Indonesian citizen, am honestly very embarrassed because the military in Indonesia can't speak English😢
Ahh that’s okay! A lot of them could, they were all very friendly
Mr. Marco - good morning to you, Dennis is going crazy right now -10:30 am Thur. leaving for Cebu in 4 days. Packing frenzy and weight checks
for the last big bag and totes. Mom ( my wife ) is always trying to shove some last item in my bag, hand carry or in my light jacket. My lawn mowers are
making their last cut, will blow out the sprinkler system and make one last leaf pick up in two weeks. Very nice little story today, - surprising that so many
folks do not know a little English - whether folks want to accept it or not, English is the universal language of the world.
Good morning Dennis my friend!
Ahh I bet you are excited, I am thinking about going to Cebu in a couple of months to vlog before I head to America.
It is one of the places I missed out on but really wanted to see.
Yep! I’ll always appreciate having English as my language, however, I wish I was more smart and could learn languages, but I do struggle with it to be honest
"Have you got a permit for these rockets?" Got me haha
Haha, I come out with the most random shit sometimes 😂

as indonesian i whould say we really want to be a soldier and most of us didnt even make it to be one.. there is millions of people in indonesia who loves to defend their country like crazy.. so we equipped our country with more crazy altileries.. new guns and stuff each years.. because deep inside we still wanna go to war with anything against us 😁 so even tho we cant be soldier for real we really defend our flag anywhere it is.. even on the frickin internet.. never do mistake whenever adding our country name or even flag on any content.. we swarm anything quiete fast..
🫡 Glad to hear my friend!
sukses slalu pak de
Indonesia is a safe country, as long as you can adapt your culture and follow local guidelines, because Indonesia has a different culture from westerners, especially European and American culture. For example, you cannot drink alcohol in public places, you cannot do anything related to sex in public places
Besides Bali…
FYI the soldiers who wear desert camo with red berets, they are KOPASKA elite troops ranked 3rd in the world, the ability of 1 KOPASKA is the same as 24 ordinary Indonesian soldiers. KOPASKA only has 3000 soldiers in Indonesia. The number 1 elite force is DENJAKA, there are only 50 of them in Indonesia, the ability of 1 DENJAKA is equivalent to 120 ordinary Indonesian soldiers.
Wow that’s incredible!
One test that is quite tough is being released in the middle of the sea. The prospective Kopaska members will be released into the sea without being equipped with oxygen cylinders. They had to swim until they reached the shore.
😮😮😮
that was told by the media, all soldiers are at the same ability but with different tasks, the general said.
Indonesian people and military are very friendly😅
Greetings from Jakarta, have a wonderful travelling in Jakarta and surrounding in Indonesia 🇮🇩 Have a wonderful travelling and be well 🙏😊😎✌️🇮🇩

7:40 no we are not allies lol😂
😨😨😨
Yeah Australia support rebellion and separatist group in Indonesia even providing them the supplies and arm how can this dude say we are allies 😂
Even if Indonesia and Australia go to war, Indonesia will definitely have great difficulties because Australia has many strong allies who can help it

Don't listen to those crazy politicians who want us to fight each other. They always don't learn, our ancestors had a good history with each other in the past. We welcome everyone in Indonesia with love 😊🙏
💯 Australia and Indonesia are good!
I just remember when I was a kid I was always told once you leave Bali it is extremely dangerous …. I had nothing but respect from everyone
@@marcoroams as indonesian i can't understand why australian politic is sometime in a bad term with indonesia, since a kid what i know about australia is how clean it is and sydney also has a lot of kangoroo, our news usually about malaysia claiming indonesian culture, palestine conflic , us politic etc. but never about australia
@@chocho6766 it is because of things like your strict laws, the Bali bombing, the Jakarta terrorists attacks and the Schapelle Corby case (which I know has nothing to do with 99.99% of the everyday Indonesia.

😂😂😂I couldn’t believe it either
I tried googling as to when the Australian government put Jakarta on their Do Not Travel list, but there are varying periods as to when that happened. I mean, 1997 and a couple of years after that yes, as the whole of Indonesia was pretty sketchy right after Suharto was deposed. And 2002 during the Bali bombings I suppose. But in the 90s I knew of Aussies and Americans who were living comfortably there. And now of course Jakarta is actually safer than even some major cities in the United States.
Yeah super safe.
They put out warning where the Marriott hotel terrorist attack happened in 2003
@@marcoroams Ahh, almost completely forgot those spate of suicide bombings in the early to mid 2000s. That’s cause it is not in the nature of Indonesians to die by self inflicted explosions of shrapnel, so it almost escaped my mind of those events.
