- KLS Reporter Morgan Wolf joins us to discuss some details about the investigations of missing Florida woman, Gabby Petito and the double homicide of newlyweds Crystal Turner and Kylen Schulte and the possible connection between the two.
Moab population 5K. This is their 1st double homicide in the community’s history that happens to be followed by a missing woman approx a week later.. What are the odds?
If you look at the details and M.O., including dates that don’t match because Gabby FaceTimed her mom ten days after that double homicide, it seems like more of a sexual or hate crime against a lesbian couple, so I’m not assuming it’s automatically related….

As a parent, I can’t even imagine how this family is feeling. Your child disappears and you have no idea if she’s alive or dead. And the one person who has answers, lawyered up.

It's an assumption that he has answers as to where she is, and given the public and prosecution's readiness to incriminate him without evidence, the last thing someone in his position should do is speak without counsel. This is assuming he is innocent until proven guilty, or more evidence surfaces to fill in the holes in the story.
All the smiles, smirks & happy faces from these two “ news people “ all while presenting such a disturbing news segment speaks volumes. Turn the volume off and people watching would get the impression they were doing a vacation piece! Disturbing disturbing disturbing!!!

I’m wondering if the lesbian couple saw Brian beating the sh*t out of Gabby, and he murdered them to keep them quiet.
Maybe he locked her out of the van, so Gabby went to their tent crying and looking for help. Maybe the lesbians decided to go have a word with him, and he got scared and shot them. Then maybe Gabby heard it, so he shot her too? All we can think is the worst since he isn't showing any sign that she could be okay.

They were murdered before Gabby and Brian were pulled over by the police the following day, and she didn’t have any real signs of physical abuse. So this is highly unlikely and a bit of a stretch in many ways.

Yes indeed. All the girls and maybe more. Brian never stayed the night at the Bowen motel provided which was down the street from Woodys Tavern where these girls were last seen. He disappeared night of Aug 12th thru 19th. Kylen & Crystal mentioned a "creepy guy following" them. When Gabby and Brian were separated in Moab UT. Gabby went to Salt Lake City FairView Hotel but Brian stayed in Moab. He took his anger and vengeance out on two lovely ladies. He came back to pick up Gabby Aug 21st & go to WY only to kill again. Brian will keep killing if not caught.
A body has been found. The FBI is still conducting their forensic investigation, but they offered their condolences to Gabby's family.

Why doesn't that reporter's face fit the context of the story? If I turned the sound off & you told me this was a story about his favorite team winning a championship, I'd believe it. Just tell the story, guy. The little cheesy smirk isn't needed. The woman likes to crack smiles & giggles too, especially when he's complimenting her. So many reporters are just wannabe celebrities nowadays. Just do your job. Report the news. I don't care how you feel. Prayers go out to the family. Hope this missing woman is found alive & unharmed.

You're right, that does make him suspect. She was a hot head and they could have gotten into a fight and he pushed her off a cliff. He didn't call the police and fled the state, because he was afraid of being arrested in Utah where he killed her. That's one scenario anyway

the kicker is gabby and brian was there fighting and left at 4:30 according to witness, and kylen got off work at 3 that day so there is an 1 1/2 hr discrepancy, but that is too close in my book, something fishy went on around there I'm positive
They police brought Brian to the motel on aug 12th, the motel is only 7 minutes walking distance from the campground where the couple was murdered , the couple went to a bar on aug 13th and complained that there was a creepy guy bothering them. They were murdered before Gabby was murdered. The same guy that did this to these woman is the same man they need to investigate and thats Brian Laundrie, Brian even told the police that he could go camping (if he has no place to go for the night of aug 12th)
He is guilty as sin in her disappearance no matter what he did with her. Hes either hiding or he went out somewhere and put a bullet in his head.
His family not speaking is deplorable. How could they not tell police what they know.

Technically if the van belongs to Gbby the his removal,of it from its last western location was theft and he should be arrested for that.

vehicle theft does not work that way- if you give someone access or keys to a vehicle, you cannot turn around and report it stolen by them-
Since he and Gabby were dating he could claim that she let him borrow the van. And without Gabby reporting it stolen there was no theft committed. Unfortunately, the law has their hands tied on that one... he killed her, that I know but they can't get him on it until they have enough evidence to prove it. That's all we are waiting for. They'll find her body sooner or later and when they do I hope they bring hell down on him. Such a beautiful, sweet girl... she didn't deserve what she got.

Utah police are liable as well because they did not follow the letter of the law, but instead they acted as judge to determine if a crime was intentional or not--which is not their job, only a cop can do this.

Gabby was clearly relieved to NOT be around Brian - whether she realized it or not - her whole body appears to sigh in RELIEF once knowing he is going elsewhere and she gets to have her van and all it's accoutrements.

He would have gone to the police if he had nothing to do with it. There is so much we don't know, but I don't think he's a victim in this situation. I still think the cases are very closely related.

from what i know about criminal psychology and what ive gathered from all the content online about this case, i am starting to beleive that gabby may have never left utah alive. i beleive brian used the van to mark a decoy trail leading to wyoming and then he went back and forth between florida and new york to cause the investigation to take longer

Think it's pretty obvious the BF has to know a lot more about what went on. The silenece and now being on the run himself speaks for itself. @Hyperskreem 82 A lot of innocent people railroaded into prison by unscrupulous prosecutors, judges, and police have been released over the past few years. One innocent man recently released for a crime he did not do spent over thirty years in prison. The Constitution and Bill of Rights is supposed to protect our rights.
Interrogation? Yeah, American cops used to do that sort of thing: garden hoses to beat the truth out of an innocent person, lamp shining in the eyes of the suspect for hours/days on end, sleep deprivation, no call for an attorney, more beatings, etc., etc., etc. Even classic movies from the 30's and 40's mention and/or show how it used to be. It was all accepted and dayum the Constitution. If he doesn't want to talk, that's his right.

My guess... they got into an argument. It became violent, maybe her hitting him, and he "defended" himself somehow and ended up killing her. Then he panicked and headed home after leaving her body somewhere hidden. He's holed up inside as his lawyers work on a self-defense case. The details will trickle out as the police get warrants for the cell phone calls and texts.

Yes. On Aug. 12, the cops pulled Brian and Gabby over (this is in the body cam video). The cops sent Brian to a motel in Moab and sent Gabby off in her van (aug. 12.) Gabby didn’t like driving the van. So it’s highly possible that she spent the night in the van at the camping area where the couple was which is said to be a popular popular van life camping area. Then Gabby picked up Brian the next morning on the 13th. So, the prime suspect in Gabby’s murder a week or so after the couples murder was in Moab on the 13th. It’s also been reported that Gabby, Brian, and the couple were seen at Woodys bar in Moab the night of the 13th. Quite the coincidence.
@@kellydoyle I agree. If the women intervened in their argument or encouraged her to leave him when they ran into her the night of the 12th at the campsite, that could have set him off. He could have snapped and killed the women. If that's what happened and Gabby knew of It, he might have killed her to keep her from going to the police, or he may have just killed her because she wanted to leave him. The partner of a controlling, jealous person is in the most danger when they attempt to break off the relationship.

Dude, he had scratches in his face, because she attached him in their fight. I am a lawyer, and I can tell you that anywhere else, but Utah, she would have been arrested for assault! You can tell in the video she is one step from going crazy... how is an abusive relationship above his "pay grade", because she's pretty? Well, the pretty can be batshit crazy too, and as adults he didn't have the obligation of putting up with her abuse. With that said, if he was fed up and done with her, he should have dropped her off at a hospital or police station though. But NOBODY should put up with physical or emotional abuse, and she definitely has that expert manipulator vibe. I hope they find her alive and she can receive the mental health care she needs.

I have a theory.
During the body cam footage of them where Gabby was seen crying and was acting mentally unstable,
I think they might have been fighting over something (probably a crime) they booth witnessed (and/ or have done)
And then,
Maybe.....
Gabby wanted to turn herself and her boyfriend to the authorities.
But the boyfriend didn't want.
So, he ended up silencing Gabby,
Committed homicide (on Gabby) with minimal evidence
Went back home and immediately hired a lawyer to somehow get protection and buy time to orchestrate a narrative they will soon release.
Meanwhile,
Gabby's remains is hidden somewhere..
And it might take a while for the authorities to figure out where she was hidden.
Brian's family knows where he is, they know what has happened to Gabby. They are complicit to what has happened to Tabby as they wouldn't talk to the Police!!!

At this point now, everything said about this situation by Gabby's loved ones should be treated as hardcore evidence. The red flags were already there. Parents may not have picked up on the clues, but her best friend Rose Davis did. Seems Gabby was in a dysfunctional relationship with a overly insecure grandiose narcissistic fiance who eventually killed her in a jealous-driven fit of rage during one of their many domestic fueds. Didn't help that Gabby probably had a cluster-B personality disorder, most likely a delusional borderline prone to episodes of major depression, manic phases, anxiety, OCD and people-pleasing. So she wouldn't have left him due to her overwhelming feelings of guilt, worsened by his emotional blackmail, manipulation and victim-blaming. Evident from her constant apologies and ongoing ramblings trying to "explain and/or excuse" their fight. Brian appears to be the type of guy who considers himself unattractive, hence is shy around and struggles to find girls/women. Because he thinks it's surreal to meet a drop-dead gorgeous blue-eyed blond bombshell with a perfect body, his insecurities turn him into a overly jealous, controlling and fatally possessive boyfriend. Unfortunately, Brian's narcissistic personality borders on vulnerable to his parents, so they KNOW what he did but are perplexed as to what to do. Since they too are dysfunctional, they see nothing wrong with enabling their son's behaviour of avoiding responsibility, in fact, they see it as loving him. My guess is Brian unintentionally strangled/asphyxiated Gabby with his bare hands or some type of object to either stop her from doing something he'd detest, like walking out on him, physical fight, defend himself from her scratches, etc. Either way, it's not a pre-mediated murder, but still is a homicide. If the couple witnessed them arguing ,getting physical , not just Gabby getting physical they may have tried to intervene and Brian got aggressive with them so they walked away and called the cops , making Brian angrier so he went back later and killed them either because they had seen him get physical so could blow his story about how it was only Gabbby that got physical and that he got the scratches or because Gabby getting arrested and the story getting out would hurt/affect her channel , so the reason Gabby was so erratic with the cops was because she knew what Brian had done and was terrified , he had also threatened to leave her in the middle of nowhere , so he may have also threatened her to cover for him , keep the story straight , that she had to cover for him since "after all he killed them to protect Gabby and her channel" or she was just covering for him out of fear knowing what he had done , he could have killed them in order for him to get money so he could fly home and back again cause he had no money so how did he pay for that etc . This story just keeps twisting and turning but the odds of a double murder and Gabby disappearing all at once in a town that small that has so little crime not being connected doesnt seem likely .
