All of your videos leaves me something to think about and apply to my life . I listen more and talk less and I tell my wife to hush and not talk while you are talking so we both can get the full understanding of what you are trying to say and discuss it after the video is over !
Much needed conversation. My husband (now deceased) was blue collar, made more money than me, opened my eyes to a different life. He was former military and spent most of his career as a supervisor in a factory. He was a good man and I almost missed out because of my attitude. Didn’t take much for me to get my act together and realize what I had in him.
Whenever someone asks me what I do for a living I say I work construction. Shallow people ignore me after that, the ones that dig a little deeper find out I own the company . It's a great way to weed out the shallow people.
That’s funny. I do the same thing. The ones who are dismissive, I charge them what I please. The ones who treat me like a human being, I give a discount to if I can. I never offer that I’m the owner voluntarily though. I like to see the fakers demeanors change (especially the snobby ones) when they learn I’m the owner. It always makes for a good laugh afterwards.
Married a blue collar man and haven’t looked back. I’m home with our children and using my “education” and “business skills” to help us build a blue collar EMPIRE!!! Leaving a legacy for our family 💙🛠🔨
I’m a 23 year old black Man and also An Aircraft Mechanic 👨🏾🔧 one thing I’ve learn at my age is money brings the woman you want ...but struggling brings the woman you need
I use to tell a woman I was serious about marrying that "Life is struggle, but when two people struggle together, it is half the struggle." She never got it and we never got married.
I work white collar cyber and still show major love to the blue collar. They do everything I don’t know and can’t tolerate. My whole family orientation was blue collar. I got the nerd side.
To any young women reading this, judge the man not his title. As an Electrician, I was ignored by so many educated black women. No worries though, little did they know I was taking night classes and earned an Engineering degree... debt free being ex-military in the state of Illinois. Update: (8 months later) Never would've thought this comment would get so much attention. Thank you to all who have had a kind word to say. To the naysayers, I won't give any of my energy beyond this statement... As for the update. Upon graduation, I secured a lucrative position at a National Laboratory working for the Dept. of Energy. The education helped (I guess), but it was the blue collar background that got me in the door... go figure. I still see alot of the women mentioned before in various social circles. I remain cordial, but that's about it. The woman who encouraged me when I was running the race gets my full attention. Those who were waiting at the finish line aren't worth my time. The loyalty she displayed is PRICELESS in my eyes. She doesn't know it yet, but she has a 2 carat diamond in her immediate future.
My dad always said that "if you make enough to have a social life you usually don't Have one. If you have a social life you probably don't make enough to have one." He raised 9 kids making 300,000+ a year. My mom and dad balanced each other out perfectly. Before he died my mom was surprised about the amount of money they had on stash. Dad told her that if she knew they had that much they would not have that much. Wise man I can longer talk to.
The funny thing is these "educated" women will have a degree and will work an office job being a secretary making 30k a year and a blue collar guy is making 100k. Somehow they think they are better.
Im the type of guy to wear a pair of $20 old navy jeans. 7$ t shirt. Drive a $6500 car. But I could write a check for $40,000 right now. Choose wisely.
Realest thing I heard Kevin say “Women are born with value , man have to earn value “ A women working at McDonald’s can be saved by her Prince Charming . A man working at McDonald’s has to save himself , because the women who he wants won’t even look at him
I literally know a girl who worked at Burger King and married the owner...cause she was hot. Moved into a big house with a pool and golf course. It was like winning the hot chick Power ball. @Whiz
You are right but that value that they are born with is dwindling every year. Prince Charming is Prince for a reason. He can have the pick of the bunch. So they need to be careful. They can be picky but be too picky and waste time you will be replaced. Youth is the name of the game for women.
Locksmith in New York never missed one day of work since the pandemic and all these women are out of work and they actually believe when this is over their job is still going to be there waiting for them I believe that I'm probably going to be evicting a lot of them in the next few months once that law is no longer applied where you can no longer evict people big surprise you oh a Year's worth of rent or mortgage come on pay up or get out
@@heyitsablackguy9553 yep I'm going to be evicting women left and right and the guy who hangs drywall paints Apartments works at Pep Boys or just does work as a general contractor is going to be fine and busy working
I had a 26 yo Black college educated female employee make the statement that she and her nurse mother are professionals and that her father (who lived in the home, helped raise, and educate her) was ONLY a janitor. Sadly, I had to inform her that EVERY man who goes to work everyday and gets paid for what he does is a professional. I ran her out of my office with the instruction to go home and apologize to her dad.
My friend works in a high end retail location and she makes 125k a year plus bonuses. She dated my friend who drives trucks and earns 75k a year. After 3 years, she broke up him because of she couldn’t get past him being a truck driver. She was also embarrassed to tell her female friends of his profession. Fast forward 5 years later, he is happily married with 2 kids. My female friend is 45 years old and still on the dating scene. She recently admitted to me that she blew that opportunity with a great guy. 🤷🏿♂️
I’m an educated black man, but even if I wasn’t, I wouldn’t care how a female perceived me. Real women would just be glad that we found a way to get bread legally.
Blue collar men will marry blue collar wives (of which their are plenty, and plenty beautiful). White collar women will marry white collar men (of which there are relatively few)or end up alone.
I wouldn't either. A woman that stick to that mentality bore me, they really are not interesting. They are shallow, they are cold as ice. My luck is, I have never met a woman that was about that, that focused on education or the wallet.
I’m a Mailman , women look at me and roll their eyes all the time . Little do they know I’m the next legendary screenwriter next to Stephen king . And I stand on it !
I was married for forty years (he died of cancer last year) My biggest accomplishment in life was growing and having a family with someone. Nothing wrong with building a life together, it makes you feel proud.
Most fall between 0-6 overall in everything not just looks!! Examples a lot of them don't like or love cooking, they eat out a lot because they don't know how to cook, poor personality, character, attitude, lack of nurturing skills, listens to response instead of to understand, selfish as hell. I'm telling you be over 29 years bringing this to the "table". Black Men white and blue collar are saying nope I'm good!!
I’m a truck driver, own 5 trucks and a freight brokerage company, have a couple employees that have master’s degrees. I’m making between a quarter and half of a million a year. Travel the world etc. So if she thinks she’s to educated for me that’s her loss
VooDoo Villians My trucks average a net profit of $50k to $70k annually. That the average for most trucking company you can look that up. So, if I have 5 trucks, well, do the math. I sacrificed and worked extremely hard to get where I am. I know it sounds unbelievable right? Hell, I made $150k - $200k with one truck driving it myself. Well thanks for letting me know that I’m making unbelievable achievements 😀
@@flicndills123 I wouldn't even bother responding to that wicked evil jezebel spirited witch. Many of these straggs are truly miserable, and deserve to be right where they are. Salute to you brotha, keep doing your thing!!!✊🏾💯💰🚛
Just like an old high school buddy of mine that moved back into the area. Graduates high school, goes into marketing, fast forward 20 years, now he is pulling 6 figures. Me, I went into the trades. Sadly, in spite of all the lip service the trades get, I am not impressed.
As a CPA, I have MAD respect for blue collar brothers. Two blue collar brothers installed my new AC unit just in time for the Memorial Day Weekend. Without them, my wife would've complained about the AC not working!
That’s Another Form Of Slight Arrogance. You Can Be Of Service To Me But You Can’t Get In Bed With Me. As In Saying Yeah Your Good Enough To Fix My Car But Not Good Enough For Me To Sleep With.
@G Germany, what's crazy is when they call you to fix something as a favor as opposed to hiring you to do it. I had a girl try this when I was younger, knowing I had shot at her before. I showed up like a fool to fix it, her new boyfriend (whom I was unaware of) pops up halfway thru the repair. I put my tools back in my truck, drove off, and blocked her number in my phone.
I’ve worked in construction for fifteen years. I make over six figures even in this pandemic. I’m 45 and have been with my wife for 20 years. She treats me like a king because I provide for for her and both our children and keep them safe. I would never give an arrogant woman a shot no matter how good she may look.
Can't blame you if you think about it rationally the price of engagement with women just simply too high for the most part. You got entitlement, unrealistic expectations, and a culture that indoctrinates men to be subservient to women. They literally don't have to bring anything to the table for attention
@@docsavage8640 its all Routed in prejudice they think only Hispanic men do labor, and if you’re another background doing it you get looked weirdly. They’re uneducated and judgmental shout out to blue/white collar workers 🤝
I'm in canada, and can say first hand, that in the cities, (I'm in Toronto), that until I was 37, putting on a hard hat was like turning invisible. The only exceptions, were women who were from a blue collar family, and for the most part this was a truism that crossed racial cultures.
Man I really needed to hear this brotha. Sincerely thank you for covering this. I’m a 27 year old Truck driver no debt own my own home and car and sistas always make me feel like I’m really doing nothing. Crazy to learn I’m not the only dude who goes through this.
I used to live in a college town, and for some reason,I let a mutual acquaintance set me up with a college professor. (Dumb,I know, but I was bored, and it was something to do.) She wasn't impressed by the fact that I did welding and fabrication. Until, one day,I got sloppy and had a check from a job on the coffee table where she could get a look at it. The relationship ended very quickly after that, when she started making noises about moving in and playing house. I told her that I'd paid it off once, and I wasn't going to give it to her and go buy another one in a few years.
I’m 24 and own a trucking business and I’m in the same boat. The girls my age may be college educated, but only about 10% of them even have a job in their field. I swear it was much easier when I was moving packs even though I’m grossing more in a month than what they see in a year.
You are the truth KS. I’m a blue color man that makes 6 figures and I’ve dated women ranging from attorneys to factory workers. And the funny thing is, they’re all the same. Children in adult bodies.
Yes they are all the same. Women get upset when I say it but it doesn't matter their socioeconomic status. They will make the same destructive decisions early in life and pay for it dearly.
Knew a girl that became full of herself after college. She told my gf she wanted a man that makes 100k. My gf told me and I told the guy. He thanked me and since then shes regretted it. She had a good man, and blew it. sometime later, dude took me to red lobster and said "eat all you want" MYYYYYY MAN!
Deflection is a tactic those women use a lot. And then they try to bait you into arguing with them to try and paint a light that you the man are "immature".
I married a blue collar man. Best decision I ever made, he is an excellent provider and a gentleman. He can get a job anywhere ! Which provides me the freedom to do whatever I want. He met me at 24?proposed at 24”5 and married me 26. I am So thankful.
I'm a chemical plant operator & we make more than the engineers do. The engineers are always asking us how steam turbines, compressors, and etc work. Engineers have the theory of how things are "supposed" to work but have no experience on working the equipment.
That’s the first time I’ve heard of a chemical plant operator making more than engineers. Unless they’re recently graduated engineers who are entry level, just going off average salary of plant operators in comparison to senior engineers or those in management along with other positions with seasoned experience, I don’t understand how your engineers ask how a steam turbine works. That’s such a fundamental thing to know as we design them and it was created by Charles Parsons, an Irish engineer. Engineers are expected to know theory and design these same thing you work on. Those sound like some poorly skilled engineers or not true engineers in the field.
@@makossojunior987 engineers have the theory but don't know what it actually takes. Theyre more concerned with "material balance" and etc. Engineers make about 130k on average. Operators will make that in their 2nd yr. Operators that have been at it for yrs (and it doesn't take long..maybe 4yrs) make somewhere in the neighborhood of 170k with no student loan debt and cashing out new F-250 King Ranch trucks. (Just using averages) and those that move out of operations go on to planning and designing new units.
What people outside of law enforcement don’t realize is that many police officers with 10+ years on the job know more about how the law works than many attorneys, prosecutors, and judges. A good police officer often tears holes in many defense attorneys cross examinations.
Damien Jolivette That doesn’t make sense. Albeit, you’d have engineers who’d not have the same knowledge as an operator, as its expected. Yet You can’t have theory and not be able to implement design. That’s the purpose of an engineer. If one can’t do this, then they’re poorly skilled engineers with a gap in fundamental applications of their theory. If this was the case, the vast majority of society’s advances in various industries, wouldn’t of existed. It’s a genuine concern to be concerned with those aspects of design. There’s vast fields of engineering, that all have their own merits and different pay scales. Yet, on average, an engineer has higher earning potential just going off actual data within the various fields of engineering. I’m not doubting your claims, to your specific company. Yet the data shows, plant operators make significantly less than what you just stated. Your company may be the exception. www.recruiter.com/salaries/chemical-plant-and-system-operators-salary/ www.bls.gov/oes/2017/may/oes518091.htm
Most of these educated women with degrees work at Khols! Don’t be fooled fellas. Most trades make 50k- 500k depending on what you do, no debt from college, and nobody can essentially tell you “no”.
Being a lawyer, The best compliment I ever got was when a guy said, "well you seem more like a blue-collar guy" and I said good because that's who I want to be
My dad was a blue collar guy and my mom ran her own businesses since I was young. They came to US with nothing, then when I was 10, they moved us into the nicest neighborhood so we could go to a good school. My childhood was family vacations twice a year, both parents in the home, and my brother and I got whatever we needed. I have so much respect for blue collar men and the opportunity my parents afforded me because of it.
Very nice! My parents were white collar workaholics. my mom left my dad when I was 10. My dad was kept away by his work and the courts, my mom had to work 16 hour days to make ends meet. I wasn't raised by my parents and I'll never forgive them for that.
All the "blue collar workers" dropping comments are inspiring me to go out and get a trade. There's something rewarding and IMPORTANT about what you all do. I"m a college graduate, ex-USAF and corporate life is frustrating. SHOUT OUT to all the "Blue Collar Workers" I plan to be joining to you all soon.
Good! And another idea is to start watching the "how-to" content, here on UA-cam. There's a huge amount of it,most of it is pretty good stuff, and all of it is free.
Corporate life is financially rewarding but a snake pit non the less. My advice, put money on the side to start your own thing, invest, etc. THEN once you have a nice green nest egg, hop into a trade that matches what you previously did in corporate life. Happyness is PRICELESS
Go get em! But remember, when u make that money, don't just upgrade your debt (bigger car, bigger house) Keep the debt low and invest - rental properties, Roth IRA, etc.
I think most black women need a attitude adjustment I find many black women I date can’t just be happy even when times r good they tend to need some level of chaos
The love of my life hooked up with me when I was simple cook. No degree and no money. Jump forward 28 years - we’ve raised 2 kids to adulthood, own a $2m house, no debt and we have travelled the world. She didn’t have to work when we raised the kids- and she is now retired. A great woman will always inspire a man to be his best. Most will wait at the finish line and pick a winner. A great woman will support you to the winners circle.
I love when “educated” people use the term professionals as their title. Having a college degree does not make you anymore professional than a mechanic, plumber, or any other tradesmen. Your attitude makes you a professional at what you do and who you are as a person.
I'll hire a SKILLED individual over an "educated" person every single time. Some people take on debt or their parents paid their tuition, but they lack the skill and/or experience to be professionals.
@@richdouche8253 I was listening to a podcast where a guy hired college degrees for his company and they couldn’t troubleshoot any problems without his guidance. Business was about to go under. He decided to hire off craigslist instead. Got nervous when they were no longer calling him all the time. They had issues but were able to solve problems without his supervision.
At 40 I changed to healthcare went to school 6 wks for a cna certificate. My friends laughed at me said they ain't wiping no ass. They are sitting behind a desk all dressed try to pay off the bank. But guess who is still working bought and paid off my condo. I went and got all kinda certification and my pay scale kept going up. I owe nobody nothing. And my man is a truck driver
I get a kick out of walking around looking a lil rough with 6 figures in my bank, free of all debt, excellent credit, great health, and feeling amazing at all times. I just listen and watch the stressful relationship and dating stories while I'm just patiently waiting on the perfect woman for me. This life is very entertaining know how brainwashed people are.
I got married at 21 my wife was 20. I was blue collar Henry and broke. 20 years later still married to my day 1. I'm still blue collar Henry and worked my ass off I'm no longer broke .
Truth! I know a chick 30 years old living at home who just got her masters. Whole time I’m thinking when are you going to be independent? All that debt you will always be at moms.
My father was a 5'7'' tall blue collar worker in the oil business. I remember how he was treated outside the workplace - especially in Germany. He passed away last year. The inherentence will carry me through college to finish my nanoscience degree. Thank you dad for everything, your only son will carry on.
Asking someone what they do for a living used to be a well intentioned question. Now it's almost as if they're asking in order to decide your worth (in every way). 😳
In my opinion, on the first dates, the question of occupation should be "forbidden". Mening don't bring it up. But I know that this is an utopia with todays women. It will never happen. But what I can't understand is these millionere guys that TELL AND SHOW the women that they are rich. That is just lazy and stupid. It is like they WANT women to chose them because of their money. That is not an intelligent plan for happiness for ANY man. Millionere men should date like the "under cover boss". I mean not to be disguised per se, but with that MINDSET. HIDE your richness! And try to find a women that want you for who you are, and NOT for your money! That's the plan I would have. But I am not rich, but I can't understand why rich men humiliate them selfes like they do, letting women pick them, because of money...
As a young black woman in college, I love watching channels with content like yours so I learn and know what To do and what not to do when it comes to getting a mate.
I know a young man in his early 20's who went to trade school to learn cranes and now he's a journeyman crane operator making crazy money over in United Arab Emirates right now, he makes more than some attorneys I know....... Dude travels all over the world doing this and makes insane money.
I love my blue collar husband. I see him and treat him like the king that he is. He gets up every morning and works hard. I happily make his lunch for him to take to work and make sure he is fed and served with his dinner. I work as well but I try not to let that interfere with my role as a wife. Our combined incomes have afforded us a very comfortable life , with a beautiful home and nice vehicles. I saw my parents, both blue collar workers ,work hard together and do very well for themselves...I followed their path. I believe it's all about perspective. I believe Kevin is out here changing women's perspective to a more of a realistic one....he is helping them. Pay attention ladies!
Spot on Angie. No one can do it alone. As JFK once said, ask not what your partner can do for you but what you can do for your partner and vice versa. Its all me, me, me these days. Stay safe.
Imagine having 200k in student loan debt. Working a low level office job. With a bachelors degree. Looking down on an owner operator truck driver. A guy with no debt. Making 5x their salary.
I knew a guy that shined shoes in the 90s that would show up at car dealerships early in the morning before the sales floor opened. He was earning $2500 to $3K per week back in the 90s he took his shoe shining money and purchased 4-plexes for $60K to $80K each back in the 90s this guy already owned over $1M worth of real estate from shining shoes in the 90s I’m sure his assets are up in the $10M+ range in 2020.
Yes yes yes!!!! I love my blue collar truck driver but he can't fix shit. Raised by his grandma. My dad did everything so because he can't fix anything I have to say to myself, God blessed me with him and our kids and I can always call somebody to fix it 🤭🤭🤭😁 But I did think I was going to marry a Mr Fix it though.
I'm that type of guy that walks around nore often in my work clothes then regular clothes And one day was walking outside came from work and a fine woman was walking towards me she looked me straight in my eyes Then she looked at my clothes and then work shoes and turned her head away And all i could do was smile Because i never would want to have a shallow woman like that
I was watching this Nigeria 🇳🇬 show and all the millionaires, King, Prince walk about pretending to be something they are not. Because they want to see if the woman isn’t all about status, money. Interesting 🤔 Not sure if this is real life or not ......
I'm a white collar man and experience the same thing in reverse. When in a dress shirt, tie and high end dress shoes, I get looks and smiles from women. When in $20 pants and a t-shirt, I'm usually invisible. A smile prompted by perceived affluence is worthless to me.
Preach! My husband is a blue collar man and I have been a stay at home wife for years. I have 2 degrees and that includes a masters. I was raised in a blue collar family. Humility comes with much to gain!
That's cool. In the EXACT SAME amount of time it takes her to accomplish that (my congrats by the way) a whoooole new crop of women are on the market ready and waiting 😂😂
@@1stone379 ain't that the TRUTH. My girl just finished her second degree at 34 And she's more neurotic and uptight as ever and doesn't respect me much at all. But I don't care if she leaves so it balances everything out lol
The reason that they're disillusioned is because, they've fantasized about a life that they'll never have, due to their indoctrination to, "GET A MAN WHO MAKES MORE THAN YOU MAKE." They don't think that a lot of us, make more than them. What the hell do degreed black women bring to the table in MY HOUSE!?!?!? Nothing but sex. We can get sex anywhere.
I've always hated when women in power take that arms crossed pose like they're the powerful boss who doesn't take any sh*-+. It's like the job/position gives them all their confidence, it's corny. I think they either forget or were never taught the leader should be the biggest servant.
Kevin is right, be prepared to pay 100% of living expenses. Oh, and don’t forget about having the back up/ emergency fund too, because when things go bad it’s on you!
As a Xennial I had it bad growing up watching tv and music saying were Independent and wanted to go 50/50. Me being under that impression thought that. At 33 right now I know better.
I'm am a "educated" woman who learned that I connect better with blue collar workers. My ex husband is white collar we are oil &water. The blue collar men were more down to earth, easy going, easy to talk with and we supported each other in our endeavors. We were humbled because we didn't allow our accomplishments to solely define us. We know who we are with or without....
My wife went to school while went to work as a police officer. She obtained 2 master degrees but she was proud to be my wife. She would attend parties with her colleagues who had master degrees and PhD and when they asked me what my occupation, the were so excited to hear about some of my experiences as I policed the city. I held the whole party in my hands. That was so exhilarating, here I was with just an associate degree in a room with the educated elites of Milwaukee.

I had an older woman in my family tell me that a "white color woman" should not be with a "blue color man" because they don't have anything in common. She use to work as an exec secretary for a fortune 500 company and her husband was a mailman. Well lets just say that through the years, her money shortened and now she lives in a home that was purchased by her now ex-husband the mailman!!!
My first wife (2x widower) married me when I was a lowly SSgt (first line supervisor) in the Air Force. I ended my career in the top 1% of my craft and went on to be a Logistics Manager making $150K annually (while this is definitely well below KS it was more than enough to keep my family comfortable and retire at 50). My wife went for love knowing that a good blue collar man will always do his best for his woman--and she was right.
I’m a 23 year old electrician and I’ve been an apprentice for 3 years. I work a 8-5 and a 6-11 at McDonald’s part time. I save comfortably and I work out consistently. Once I get my license I plan on buying a home and renting houses out. From there I want to start a business. There’s nothing wrong with being a blue collar worker. Just have a plan.
Facts man facts, I have a similar vision. Just because you’re starting off from somewhere don’t mean you gotta be there forever. One step leads to another
The richest people I know started from a trade and that includes myself.... I own a screen printing company... and every woman I have met .... we have the conversation about careers.... when I tell them what I do ....their response is “that’s all you do”.... Which is odd to me because I made over 100k last year just on Etsy and that’s only 25% of my business that I did for extra money 🤷🏽♂️
A newly married woman was chilling with her girlfriends when her new electrician hubby comes through the door dirty and sweaty from work. He says hi then goes to get cleaned up while the girlfriends swoop in on the wife. Girl why did you marry that dirty man, what happened to the doctor with the big house or that lawyer with the nice cars? She just shakes her head and says girls let me learn ya. That doctor was nice but all he wanted to do was examine it. That lawyer was cool but all he wanted to do was talk about it. And yea that electrician is dirty when he gets home but all he wants to do is lay pipe.
These women need to understand that degrees don't matter they if don't result in a high income. I went to college with a lot of men who are white collar and are stuck making 50k a year.
I’m blue collar. Union trades all my life. Make around 100k plus benefits. Professional women would rather be with a guy that works in the mailroom making 40k a year. It is what it is. Most women don’t even realize union guys make good money. They figure it out in their 40s but by then it’s too late.
What's funny is that a long time ago, my girlfriend (wife now) had a group of friends that said they would only date a man if he's over 6ft and makes 6 figures. I'm 6'1 so I got that down but at the time I was 23 y/o and only making about 50k. Fast forward 11 years later, I'm now making 6 figures as a high school drop out married a beautiful woman and have 2 kids with her. Meanwhile all those girls my wife used to hang out with are still single. lol
My wife and I were both teaching in Los Angeles. I quit and got a blue collar job with the city. I make over 6 figures, she now works part time and enjoys being able to spend more time with our 2 boys. We own a home in California and a vacation home in Las Vegas. Don’t sleep on a blue collar check!!!
a blue collar man... and an educated woman... could potentially be a very powerful couple... very powerful... most educated men with style at one time or another were blue collar... they've simple matured and enjoy style... the blue collar matures and enjoys peace and quiet... III
@Tina You are wrong. My family is living proof... blue collar men, white collar wives. It happens a lot more than people think because the skill sets compliment each other. HOWEVER: these couples tend to move quietly and be stacking out of sight...
I've been blue collar all my life. ASE Certified mechanic, Commercial driver's license, have my own mobile automotive repair business, and do vehicle inspections. Making money or keeping a job has never been a problem. I don't care that uppity college degree women will skip over me because you will call me for help long before I ever call you
I can relate, was once ASE certified myself, focused electrical systems and diagnostics. 7 yrs ago I crossed over to industrial automation and robotics. maintained a small word of mouth mobile diagnostics business for local indy shops… At 39 The House is paid off, no car loans, no credit card debt, no student loan debt, and my savings account is full of f*ck you money. Not bad for a college dropout that’s “surviving” in a top ten American city.
I can definitely relate as a guy who did heavy commercial union construction doing masonry. The phrase back breaking work yea thats literally wtf I did blowing out my low back having 6 failed back surgeries including experimental surgery and retired. Last day I worked I was 28yo I'm 46yo now
Nobody should be turning their nose up at anyone. God can fix that real quick and show you just how fragile you are by snatching it away with a quickness and bringing you down to your knees. Stay humble and don't forget who's always watching and ultimately in charge!
As a self-employed tradesman, it is remarkable how certain people treat you based on what you are wearing or what you do. It is like living in two realities. Some great points here, all the best.
I know exactly what you mean brother. It’s hilarious how invisible I am to everyday women, with the exception of the female bank tellers when I’m making deposits. They are always so feminine and nice. Lol
I feel that y'all. This is one of the big reasons I've been taking suit Saturday so serious the past few months. Let em see you in something besides those blues you put on to make paper. Learn their game play it better.
Went to a burger joint one time and tried to get at the waitress. She was like not right now...👀. Went back there like 2 weeks later (she was THAT bad) but with a collared shirt, glasses, vest and my beat tie KILLLING the game, lol!! Soon as I pulled up, ya, it was a right. She had "that look" in her eye and the tables were succccccessfully switched. 9 times out of 10, things go my way when I clean it up 👓 👔
Damn, this is 100% correct. I have a white friend who owns a construction company. He started out small now he's worth millions. His wife which is white stuck with him when he was doing the construction himself. He told me they ate peanut butter and jelly sandwiches for about a year and sometimes ham and cheese. They been married since Jr year of college. When he told me that, I told my then wife look at what she sacrificed and my then wife tells me oh I got to have my seafood. Just the truth about blk women. I want a blk woman but reality is spanish and white women seems like my only rightful option.
I used to shop at whole foods after work wearing my filthy work clothes. People (the workers and other customers) absolutely looked at me differently and treated me worse if I was wearing work clothes vs. if I went on the weekend in a decent outfit
you'll grow up someday and realize that stuff is in your head. i did that for years until i realized the only person being messed with, was me messing with myself in my head.
Facts i bring in 150k owing my own truck & women look down on truckers. I can’t wait to add truck #2 & truck #3 to my company and bring in more revenue.
Good for you! Keep doing your thing and don't listen to naysayers. By the way, all educated women don't look down on "blue collar" workers. Many blessings to you.
Many of them sure do. I am 37 have been in trucking for over a decade, own 3 trucks and I still drive one of them. I pay myself about 200K a year on average. Ohh and my fiancé is 22 5’7” and 130lbs we got together when she was 20. She often goes with me and we basically get paid to vacation. Been everywhere together, she loves it. Keep your head up and grind out the money. These rates are amazing right now! They are out there but it’s like finding a needle in a haystack. I always laugh when people ask if my daughter is enjoying being out of school for the summer. 😂
Very great show today.. Salute to the caller for sharing his wisdom ... Proud Railroad worker here.. About 120k last year going for 130 this year, only 5 years on the job so far .. living in NYC.. 31 years old.. B.A. degree ( which i could’ve done without to be honest ).. don’t put yourself in a box.. Get these certifications , get into real estate , security etc.. Skys the limit.
same club here got me a bachelor's WASTE OF TIME ended up starting my own business and got into Real Estate (renting out property) all the while everything was shut down I was still getting checks....
When women say a man is boring a lot of times i have to wonder if she just doesn’t know how to have fun or how to actually show him the things of interest to her...or if there is a double speak and “fun” is actually code for “spending money on me at expensive events and places that require dressing up” 🤔🤔🤔
Boring people are bord easily. People need need to interesting to themselves first and have their own fulfilling life befor getting people to be in relationships with.
Nah. I've called a guy boring... I said it because he didn't have any hobbies, and really didn't have much to say. I realized I was the only one bringing energy/fun.
I remember when I got my first job, washing dishes at this restaurant. I was 16 years old and my job was to clean up and bring the clean dishes up to the front. The thing was when you got to the front the customers could see you. With that said, I was spotted by this beautiful lady who was much older than I was. I didn't stare at her or anything but she called me over and told me "You are cute but nobody wants a man who washes dishes." I was caught off guard at the age of 16 because, for one, she had to be close to 30. Plus, I didn't even expect her to say those words. I thought she had a question like where is the bathroom or something. I learned about gold diggers quick and was motivated by that one lady's comments. In about 2 months I became a grill cook and of course finished college and started making big money.
Yes, the Jeffersons ran from 1975-1985. 10 years. 10 years of a Black male entrepreneur & it remains the longest running Black show & one of the longest running shows, in general. Good times lasted half that time. At some point, we wanted to see Black people thriving, with class, & dignity. The Real Housewives of Atlanta has been on for 12 years and it shows our overall interest & investment in drama & ratchetness. We've changed..all of us..men and women.
I’m actually hoping Black-ish can make it to 10 seasons ...the show is funny and I’m a fan of Anthony Anderson Been watching my dude since Hang Time on NBC.
Who controls the networks? Who sits on the editorial boards of these companies? I can assure you it's not black people. Additionally, some black shows are kept on television for social conditioning and have nothing to do with ratings.
That's because you're approaching middle age. You're hitting the wall. Now you want blue collar men because the top tier corporate bro's didn't want you....unless it was for sex, only.
My Father was Blue collar, carpenter and mason. He built the 4 bedroom, 3 bathroom home I grew up in. My Mother worked from home, when she felt like. Black women today don't focus on the bottom line. That's why many of them suffer today.
I’m a retired Senior Chief, U. S. Navy...there are very “few” decent women in the military. Women get more of what they want and can handle in the military and that is “ATTENTION!”...especially if she’s attractive, has a nice body or both. Even the 6 and below’s get attention. I would NEVER marry a military woman; saw too much. You are correct in your assessment Kevin... and it applies across “ALL” services.
I met an elderly gentleman & his wife. He was 85 years old & said he'd been retired from the phone company 20 years. They told me they ate out twice a day, paid off their house, and travel often. Financial literacy is key. That is where a blue collar man having a white collar spouse may come in handy. Personally, I have a soft spot for EMTs & firefighters. Most are already married, Black & White.
My wife is always trying to get handy men to do work for free, whenever they come to do a job. I don't ever try to negotiate handyman's, electricians, plumbers, and independent contractors $$$ down. I respect the work they do because I have done some of the back breaking work. A lot of women will not, because just as Kevin is saying, they don't respect them.
Learning to be a wife, and mother has great value! Recognizing the right man is a matter of survival, woman just don’t get it until they are FAR past their prime.
Most far between 0-6 overall in everything not just looks!!
@Lori Joy Fine Art Channel this is the problem. Women want a husband and can’t follow something as simple as GENDER ROLES. Blurring the gender roles by calling them basic life skills isn’t going to help relationships. Those gender roles have been in place and worked for a reason. There are things that are inherently a mans job and things that are inherently a woman’s job. If a woman can’t get or understand something as simple as that then she is not ready or qualified to be a wife.
ASE Certified Auto & Diesel Technician . I have over 200 certifications. I was married 20 years and had 6 girls and 5 boys . I had 3 children before I got married and all 3 were the same age when I was in High School, no father figure or guidance at the time. I had 8 kids by my exwife and I paid Childsupport for my 3 kids I had before I got married. I paid all the bills and my exwife didn’t work. I don’t smoke or drink alcohol and I never have. I got on my purpose at 19 years old and worked two full time jobs and I worked on the side for myself and I made more money on the side in one day than at both jobs combined. I rebuilt engines on cars and 18 wheeler trucks. I started my own business and I had it for 20 years, my exwife went from 130 lbs to 300 plus, she didn’t want to cook or clean anymore and put toilet water in my mother drinking water and I got tired . I filed for divorce lost my business and pay Childsupport and alimony. This occurred in Birmingham, Alabama. I moved to Nashville, Tennessee got remarried started working two jobs and started two businesses while working both jobs and I am getting back more than what I lost . My name is Kenya Kabaski Casey , aka KC , I been watching your videos awhile. Love your content me and my wife listen to you .
I love hearing this!! Can I have my brothers here in Nashville/Madison reach out to you? My oldest works on cars and dreams of starting a mechanic business.
Well said, Kevin! I'm a college dropout. I made $217K last year in a blue collar job. I'm still well read. In fact, probably more so than 90% of the undergraduates out there. I'm glad I'm married. Women these days are throwed the F off!
A lot of these women lowkey look down on their fathers, but won't or can't go and tell him this to his face. But feel like it's their job to do it to the rest of us, no problem.
My husband is a blue collar man, we've been together since I was 18. I'm college educated and worked while he went to trucking school and apprenticeship programs to get qualified as a trucker and industrial mover then I quit to stay home with the kids and he works. We bought our very nice home at age 25 and we're quite stable years later. He's very educated and cultured. He listens to audiobooks while he drives so he reads a lot and has a lot of knowledge. We wear headsets while he's on the road and listen to books together and discuss them. I love my hardworking man and when he comes home, I make sure he has a clean home, warm meals, footbath and massages. He works hard so home is where he needs peace. I am happy to be his wife and count myself fortunate 💙
What was your biggest takeaway from
my video? Comment below.
All of your videos leaves me something to think about and apply to my life . I listen more and talk less and I tell my wife to hush and not talk while you are talking so we both can get the full understanding of what you are trying to say and discuss it after the video is over !
Biggest thing is: I'd rather own the bank than contribute to it.
After listening to brother Charles I would say....BECOME A COP AND GET THAT OVERTIME!!!!
That many professional women are oblivious to the blue collar HENRY.
It always makes for a good laugh afterwards.

hot damn you're mature for your age. I'm gonna steal that line.
I digg this my brother 💯💯
I use to tell a woman I was serious about marrying that "Life is struggle, but when two people struggle together, it is half the struggle." She never got it and we never got married.
Congrats on your goals and that line about struggling is deep! Thank you for sharing.
For a young brother , this is a very wise statement.
The fact that Kevin ALWAYS showed us Blue Collar men respect like this is why I will ALWAYS show love. RIP Godfather.
Facts. KS helped me so much during some tough times. He was real nice!
I work white collar cyber and still show major love to the blue collar. They do everything I don’t know and can’t tolerate. My whole family orientation was blue collar. I got the nerd side.
We all brothers.
To any young women reading this, judge the man not his title. As an Electrician, I was ignored by so many educated black women. No worries though, little did they know I was taking night classes and earned an Engineering degree... debt free being ex-military in the state of Illinois.
Update: (8 months later)
Never would've thought this comment would get so much attention.
Congrats 💪🏾🎉 🎓
That is the big picture that the bw dosen't see, education does not equal intelligence or common sense.
Respect fam!
CHARACTER and EDUCATION is the “TRUE” definition of INTELLIGENCE!!!!!!!!! Anything else, is just arrogance!!!!
Good shit! 👊🏾✊🏾🏦🏧💰💲
Your old man was wise as hell. 👋
I’m bout to apply this
R.I.P. sounds like he was a great man and example, great knowledge to apply to myself ✅✅✅✅. Bless 🙏🏿

Emphasis on "if SHE knew they had that much"
The funny thing is these "educated" women will have a degree and will work an office job being a secretary making 30k a year and a blue collar guy is making 100k. Somehow they think they are better.
Shit is crazy
They may think working around white people or dressing up makes them better.

You are right but that value that they are born with is dwindling every year. Prince Charming is Prince for a reason. He can have the pick of the bunch. So they need to be careful. They can be picky but be too picky and waste time you will be replaced. Youth is the name of the game for women.

Blue collar men will marry blue collar wives (of which their are plenty, and plenty beautiful). White collar women will marry white collar men (of which there are relatively few)or end up alone.
True
I wouldn't either. A woman that stick to that mentality bore me, they really are not interesting. They are shallow, they are cold as ice. My luck is, I have never met a woman that was about that, that focused on education or the wallet.
Most of these educated black women make less than the ups driver they look down on.

I’ve known A LOT of blue collar millionaires and a lot of millionaires who dress blue collar to avoid these women.
I'm a chemical plant operator & we make more than the engineers do. The engineers are always asking us how steam turbines, compressors, and etc work. Engineers have the theory of how things are "supposed" to work but have no experience on working the equipment.
That is very true.

9 times out of 10, things go my way when I clean it up 👓 👔
I love dressing like I have little money and driving my 20 year old truck !
I’m married and have no time for gold diggers
Damn, this is 100% correct. I have a white friend who owns a construction company. He started out small now he's worth millions. His wife which is white stuck with him when he was doing the construction himself. He told me they ate peanut butter and jelly sandwiches for about a year and sometimes ham and cheese. They been married since Jr year of college. When he told me that, I told my then wife look at what she sacrificed and my then wife tells me oh I got to have my seafood. Just the truth about blk women. I want a blk woman but reality is spanish and white women seems like my only rightful option.
😂😂 yo I'm dead but shit you right brotha
God bless bro. ✊🏿
@@shiner2505 she's a lucky woman
My brother you just keep doing you and I pray that God bless you with a fleet of trucks........

Facts..stay safe going down the rail
When women say a man is boring a lot of times i have to wonder if she just doesn’t know how to have fun or how to actually show him the things of interest to her...or if there is a double speak and “fun” is actually code for “spending money on me at expensive events and places that require dressing up” 🤔🤔🤔
Boring people are bord easily. People need need to interesting to themselves first and have their own fulfilling life befor getting people to be in relationships with.
Nah. I've called a guy boring... I said it because he didn't have any hobbies, and really didn't have much to say. I realized I was the only one bringing energy/fun.
Its weird how someone can be uncouth AND boring. That sounds like a wild ride out in the world to me.
GOD loves you all. GOD bless you all. Have a blessed day everyone.
It could just be a lack of compatible interests so it comes off as boring.
It would've been funny if you said "& no one wants to eat off of dirty dishes".😁

The programming definitely changed. Don’t forget shows like “A Different World” and the “Cosby Show”
Feminism public policy over the last 2 generations is what changed black society and black culture.
I’m actually hoping Black-ish can make it to 10 seasons ...the show is funny and I’m a fan of Anthony Anderson Been watching my dude since Hang Time on NBC.
Absolutely! TV shows were entertaining AND dignified. Now it's "Oh, let's see who gets beat up this week!"
Who controls the networks? Who sits on the editorial boards of these companies? I can assure you it's not black people. Additionally, some black shows are kept on television for social conditioning and have nothing to do with ratings.
“Educated” but in reality they’re just more programmed with someone else’s thoughts
Facts
Sounds like a sweeping generalization, based on nothing but bitterness or envy
If by someone, you mean Karl Marx
WOOOW this is a very insightful comment! I'm gonna write this one down 🙏🏼👍
Well played sir
I'm 29. The older I get the more I appreciate hard working blue collar men. Thanks Kevin. Rest in peace.
That's because you're approaching middle age. You're hitting the wall. Now you want blue collar men because the top tier corporate bro's didn't want you....unless it was for sex, only.
Thank you kindly 🙏🏿
" the older i get " .... Lol
the wall is undefeated. too late :)
@@Janzer_ LMAO!!!
My Father was Blue collar, carpenter and mason. He built the 4 bedroom, 3 bathroom home I grew up in. My Mother worked from home, when she felt like. Black women today don't focus on the bottom line. That's why many of them suffer today.
And are bitter too! You reap what you sow...
I agree Senior Chief. I was also in the Navy and i saw the same thing. From basic, to A School, to out in the fleet lol.
Tracy Simon what do you mean?
@@RealTCGOG by saying that i agreed with the above comment?
@@RealTCGOG i meant that i saw how certain women got certain attention from basic to A School to out in the fleet and how they responded to it.
Which is why I got out! Happy I had my head on right.
The firefighters are popular in my city. Girls start hounding them when they enter the academy 😂
Money spent on quality work is money well spent. When I find a service provider that does quality work I overpay, on purpose, everytime.
Learning to be a wife, and mother has great value! Recognizing the right man is a matter of survival, woman just don’t get it until they are FAR past their prime.
Most far between 0-6 overall in everything not just looks!!
On all accounts, you guys are absolutely correct!
@@kingd-lite3674 your information is dated, sir.

What line of work
May I ask what do you do for work?
This is awesome. May God bless you and your family.
