Greetings from Massachusetts. I started going to Campobello Island when I was a kid every summer. My family including aunts & uncles would all camp at Herring Cove. My Dad's father was born in Lubec so that was how they new of this most beautiful place. When I became an adult I continued to go every year for 2 weeks, although my husband & I rented a cottage, love the outdoors but camping in a tent just wasn't appealing to me as an adult, lol. I've made the hike over to the lighthouse more times than I count and it's one of my favorite places in the world. On our first trip to the to the island, my 7 year old son made friends with a little blonde haired boy & his little crew while fishing. His name was Miles & every summer he would watch for us knowing we'd be back second week in August. I'm much older now and wish I could make that little hike to the lighthouse one more time but your video just brought me close as I'm ever going to get. Awesome job & thanks for giving me a few moments of reliving that.
