You have to go into settings to allow the app to continue. You can basically use any app you want on the outer screen. I ended up getting the plus 2023 just 5 days before this came out. I love it so far. The first android phone I've had since the Galaxy Nexus.
Pre ordered mine with T-mobile and im getting mine free🎉 cant wait! Also ive had the z flip 3 for 3 yrs...screen protector started peeling after 2 years of use.... so i pulled it off, and a year later now has some marks and scratches but the screen still isnt too bad...battery has been horrible and camera is just trash... so BIG upgrade for me!
I haven’t been this excited for a new phone in a while. Unfortunately, my husband and I are moving to a different state for the military. And I don’t have a job. So I don’t have extra money like that but once I do, I’m buying this phone. 😂
Pre ordered mine through AT&T & I got it for $5.99 a month for 36 months (no next year upgrade, I plan on keeping the phone for a while). I believe they have a promotion until the pre order finishes. If you’re thinking of getting it that might be a good avenue to look into!
Pre ordered mine from Amazon for $850. With the big outer screen I was finally convinced I'm ready to try a foldable. I'm glad it has the zoom cam instead of wide angle. I much prefer the the zoom. I wanted a more pocketable phone and with the bigger outer screen I'll be able to do a lot without ever opening it.
I have the razr 2023 plus and removing the screen protector does not damage the screen. It just is more susceptible to scratches and indents. I use invisible Shields as replacements every few months
I had to return mine because the screen would slide when I hit the fingerprint reader everytime I got a flip 5 on prime day for way less than the razr+ I pre-ordered. Feels much more solid but I wanted to love the razr+2024. Can have a cheap feeling phone hinge
Hey I really wish it would have worked out it was an awesome awesome phone love every minute of using it the short time I had it. I just have certain things that I can't handle with technology and that's one of them. Maybe it won't bother you and hope you enjoy it.
@@curtismiller1854 You did the right thing. I'm on my 3rd Razr Plus 40 within a year. I had the Flip 4, and traded it in for the Razr because of the bigger outter screen. Now I'm trading in my Razr for the Flip 6
@@curtismiller1854 but the fingerprint reader is in the power button? Maybe I'm just not understanding what you're saying. Anyway, it doesn't matter to me. I never use finger print readers.
I had a 2020 Razr 5G, and it was only about 18 months before the screen cracked right through the hinge. Has Motorola done anything to improve the screen since then?
I really want the Razr+ but Samsung is giving me a far better deal with trade in and double the memory for the Z flip 6. $789 for the razr with 256gb vs $549 for the Z flip with 512GB
It's not for me.i need more power. I need flagship performance..but I am seriously thinking of buying this for my lady, at Christmas time, I am sure black Friday , or cyber Monday. Will have these at awesome price
I mean it isn't all that bad, the cameras themselves are pretty solid it's the processing of the photos that doesn't feel as good as say Google or Samsung.
As someone who bought the first flip and owns a fold 4 these reviews are kind of pointless...let me explain. The big issue is the crease area. The crease is prown to looking far worse after 6 months of use. Additionally, the crease is prown to getting air pockets in the protective skin which cause dead pixels. These phones the real review is when you give the 6 month update cause the true test is how the hinge holds up. Not how it looks out of the box
That RAZR has been truly disappointing - Since January FW update, have to open the phone to use Google Assistant properly, and Moto is not even committing to fix this critical user-function, despite still advertising that Assistant can be used with the phone closed. It is a serious defect for a phone that promotes usability when closed. Now, with a very belated rollout of A14 to #RAZR40, initial reports are that the issue is not resolved, and worse yet - the patch that provided partial Android Assistant functionality no longer works, bringing into question if the #RAZR50 supports Android Assistant with the phone closed. The Lenovo/Moto/RAZR support/discussion board shows how little Moto is taking any responsibility of a broken feature Moto specifically promotes. Moto RAZR... outrageous you have to open the phone to use Google Assistant, awkward, not as advertised, more wear on the hinge and screen fold... since Jan '24 - still that way in July - that 25% of a phone's typical use life a critical SW function is broken. Great idea, but someone dropped the ball on this critical function.
I have the Razr 24 in beach sand.. I really enjoy this device. Small compact. Great battery. Display quality is great.

I did the same thing I kinda wished I waited to get the hot pink version instead of the magenta but I still love my 2023 Razr+
Pre-ordered the hot pink one.. Can't wait
Tell us how you like it. That’s the one I want!!
@@raleemay it's awesome.. Love every bit of it.. The external screen is best.. Go for it!!!.. Worth the price

Motorola did a huge W by having telephoto instead of ultrawide which more manufacturers should follow after. What ru on about mate
I would rather have both cameras
Wrong, many people need Ultrawide more, it really just depends.
Nobody uses the telephoto……not ultra wide is a big mistake and Motorola will bring back that ultra wide in the 2025 version

Currently, Motorola MX has a bundle that gives you the charger, case, and Moto + Bose headphones for around $899 (tax included)
First time watching one of your videos. Good basic first impression, and thankfully no mid video “sponsor”. FYI. I love this phone.
Enjoyed this review v much!
I got a luxury suede case with mine, also a powerful adapter and cable.
I got a samgsung zflip 5 this year and Im insanely satisfied switching from apple.
I traded my iPhone 13 for a Razr 2024 and I don't think I'll ever go back to Apple.
Great review of this phone !
Just preordered one today love it already and ion even have it😂
Same
It took 4 years, but Motorola finally got the Razr reboot right.
sweet, new video!
You can make the video screen larger to fill the screen by putting two fingers on it and spreading them apart.
I have the razr 2023 plus and removing the screen protector does not damage the screen. It just is more susceptible to scratches and indents. I use invisible Shields as replacements every few months
Which carrier do you have? I heard you can't use it on the Verizon network. Thanks!

How would the screen slide? Makes no sense
@jeffchandler3390 fingerprint reader is on top of the outer screen thus pressing the fingerprint reader moves the screen

Hopefully we can find cases for iT.
That was my problem with the 2023. The cases sucked.
They added retro mode to the Razr in the September update. So now both devices have retro mode..
is it possible to remove the dial pad from appearing on the front of the phone?
I had a 2020 Razr 5G, and it was only about 18 months before the screen cracked right through the hinge. Has Motorola done anything to improve the screen since then?
Would the crease increase when sitting half folded for longer periods of time?
no
I took my Motorola RAZR 2023 to the beach and it still works.
???? If you can't remove the screen protector because it'll destroy the screen then how is it protecting the screen? What if i scratch it?
Just bring back the original flips already they were amazing
I have the not ultra version 2023 and I love it. I’m going for the 2024 ultra soon
Full review?

GO RAVENS!! 🤣🔥
Great review man. I plan on picking this up next year After the next version comes out. I'm ready for my long wait 😂
so if you get dust on it, just submerged it in the water....problem solved😂...im getting mine in 2 days...yayyy
I was a fan of Motorola until Lenovo bought it back in 2014
subbed up
I thought this was kenny beats

Youngins dont even know what T9 was.
Forrest Frank mentioned. Good to see a fellow Christian in the Media Space.
Only 2 years of software update ... What a waste of a beautiful phone

It's a good phone. However, Motorola is so bad at updating its phones.
Is this the new version? Bc I see they have 3 colors of 2024 razr coming out on the 24th
