In short, Russia’s 2024 South Donetsk offensive has thus far succeeded in driving the AFU out of its frontline strongpoints which it had defended doggedly since the beginning of the war: Ugledar, Krasnogorivka, and Avdiivka have fallen, and Toretsk (the northernmost of these fortresses) is contested with Russian control over half of the city. The two cities that formerly acted as vital rear area hubs for the AFU (Pokrovsk and Kurakhove) are in the rear no longer, and have become frontline cities. Kurakhove in particular is likely to fall in the coming weeks. The Russians are, in a word, poised to complete their victory in Southern Donetsk. It is important not to understate the operational and strategic significance of this. In the simplest terms, this will be a significant advancement towards Russia’s explicit war aims of capturing the Donbas oblasts (putting Russia in control of some 70% of Donetsk and 90%+ of Lugansk). Nevertheless, we do clearly see the Russian army making significant progress towards its goals. It will be able to write off much of the southeastern sector of front, with the AFU evicted from their powerful chain of prewar fortresses around the city of Donetsk. These losses raise an uncomfortable question for Ukraine: if they could not successfully defend in Avdiivka, Ugledar, and Krasnogorivka, with their long built-up defenses and powerful backfields, where exactly is their defense supposed to stabilize? We must also ask another salient question then: on the precipice of losing South Donetsk, with a full 100 kilometers of front unraveling, why are many of Ukraine’s best brigades loitering 350 kilometers away in Kursk Oblast? In more abstract strategic terms, however, Kursk has been a disaster for Kiev. Within the expansive reach of Kiev’s self-declared war aims, including the phantasmagorical return of Crimea and Donetsk, it has never been quite clear how these operations are correlated. Russia, in contrast, has pursued its war aims with consistent clarity and a great reluctance to take risks and allow its energies to dissipate. Moscow wants, at an absolute minimum, to consolidate control over the Donbas and the land bridge to Crimea, while trashing the Ukrainian state and neutering its military potential. - Big Serge Thought

NATO does not need an excuse to fire missiles into Russia, nor does it need an excuse to shoot down Russian missiles. If they wanted to - they would do that, end of story. Thats why we go to your channel. To hear what is happening on the front. PLEASE stop your analyses of what this or that entity says. Stay to stating facts.
I think it is fine to mention rumours, but one needs to underline the fact that those are rumours that are not backed by anything. And any further speculation on the subject of "West allowing deep strikes into Russia, Poland shooting down missiles" is just silly. NATO does not need an excuse to fire missiles into Russia, nor does it need an excuse to shoot down Russian missiles. If they wanted to - they would do that, end of story. The thing is that NATO really does not want to because it knows what the possible consequences would look like. The presence of a small bunch of North Korean soldiers, even if that were to happen, would have zero effect on the larger picture.
@libertarianbydefault Rumors ,fiction, myths, guessing, and all reaction to those. What this or that person think or asy about them, is totally beside the point. It has nothing to do with mapping progress or losses in a war. All Im asking for is to be able to listen to facts concerning that very progress. This village was taken, or that river was crossed. Soldiers did this or that, went here or there. THATS FACTS. Who the fuck cares what Biden said or did??? Or Putin, zelensky or any other person. There are thousens of channels babbling about all of that. I would be happy if Military Summary could stay in its lane. Thats all.
May the dead rest in peace, Ameen
Hello my dear friend Dima. Thx for your daily updates.
It's ridiculous that so much discussion takes place for 10.000 soldiers while Russia has 1.500.000 soldiers operating and recruit 30.000 every month.
They are trying and this guy is their talking drone!
Well, Dima has said it himself, that the NK soldiers rumour is there to distract people from what is going on. It also distracts him. :D
@@libertarianbydefault Yes and he needs to stop being their talking piece! Koreans are not needed unless NATO gets involved! The U.S. Army Rangers have been killed in Kursk and they were in full US Army uniforms also!
There is no glory to be had in dying for Western Interest conjured up by policymakers of Aspen and Rand Corporation.
There are no such thing as talks behind the scenes between Russia and Ukraine Dima. Peskov said it outright today and called it a lie.
Are the North Koreans in the room with you now?
Up to additional 4 million Ukrainians coming to Poland soon!! Poland, by EU rules, must PAY.
Close border...its that easy
@elajarek
Europe has tried that for years.
Even the US can't figure out how...
The negociations for the negociations have begun. They are negotioating what to negotiate in order for the negotiations to begins.
Yes, this week it's North Koreans, next week it will be the Houthi's from Yemen

China has imposed sanctions on the largest US drone manufacturer Skydio, which supplies drones to Ukraine, among others, the Financial Times reports.
Skydio is urgently seeking alternatives and has asked the White House for help, its CEO has met with the Deputy Secretary of State.

@@schepvogelk5971 if you listen to BBC & CNN Russia is retreating till Moscow
Viva da Russia ❤❤❤❤
Don't take Vučić for serious! Nobody in Serbia does. And don't waste our time with nonexisting negotiations!
Bla bla bla! Russians will not attack Ukraine nuclear facilities. They do not need that for a black out. Electricity is generated inside the nuclear core facility but delivered through a complex distribution system. As far as black out, the result is the same by hitting the distribution torer. The tower is worth maybe a couple hundred thousands, and it takes a $5000 drone to do that. And there is zero environmental impact. It is like hitting a pump station that supplies water instead to the dam to stop water flow.
Yes we had notice that too Ukraine has fleed normal is a completely destroyed towns
Dima, why should Russia agreed on a negotiation with Ukron4zis? I know you have a fervid imagination, but it looks to me that the only reason you like to bullshit about these fantastical charades about negotiations, North Korean troupes, Polish shooting down Russian missiles… is you trying to add some spice to military channel’s storytelling. The problem is that exploiting these nonsense is actually making you look like a fool and that kind of fool who thinks that his audience is even more fool than himself. Just saying. Stick to what you are good at: just report the situation on the ground.
RE Kurakhivka “cauldron” - how many Ukros retreated VERSUS KIA? 2 weeks ago “4500” were “caught in K-cauldron”,, but now they “retreated” - ? And when did “land taken & buildings preserved” become more important signifiers of victory than enemies
KIA?
Welcome! 😂
Why would they need the united divided states permission ?
So far Russia has been playing the big game like chess MASTERS!! KEEP IT UP!!!
Beware the drowning man
Way to early to strike Ukrainian energy generation. Beginning of December is the right time.
Really getting close to kupiansk
I’d hate to be in puppet Zelenskyy’s shoes 😬. Judgment day is coming.
Dear Dima, if you report with less pathos and measure your excitement you will not have that often to take your words back. We all understand, all sources of your information are rather inaccurate and biased, including so called "neutral", if they identify themselves as neutral it does not necessarily mean that they are more accurate. Thank you for your tireless efforts, you are still one of the best and reliable.
I wish he would take back the word "direction", which he babbles uselessly 50 times in every video. Yes, uselessly.
Zelenskyi has asked the Poles to shoot down Russian missiles flying in the direction of Poland in order to protect three large Ukrainian gas storage facilities near Lviv. These are missiles flying in the direction of Poland but not attacking Polish targets. Poland has agreed to this if NATO aka. the USA give the green light. So it will not take place.
Russia is recruiting 30,000 troops/month. WHY would it want to use N.Korean soldiers?! I'm with Alex Christoforou on this one.
Jezus maybe is a wish from Kim to test his army and Putin did't hawe any saying in that !!!
They do not need to use the N Koreans. It is possible that Kim asked to participate in order to get his soldiers (generals) real modern experience.
Yes this is a trial baloon floated by the RF intelligence , the koreans that is, to see what natozi would do or react
"The President of Serbia proposed..."
Yeah, right... even Albanians don't pay attention to what he has to say anymore!
I am trying to find this news in Serbian media, Bosnian and Croatian too, and there’s no news about that, nobody did not even heard for that.
With 12000 NK and 3 generals, I think that Dima gets this kind of news from Ukraine propaganda government department.
❤❤Dear Doctor Shawzy got the last laugh on livechat, talking about bringing his boat back from some place, can't remember name, said it was longest trip.?
CONGRATS, Doctor.
Are yo crazy? your creepy comments have nothing to do with this tema !
This channel was a lot better when it stuck to the facts on the ground. Now half is wild speculation that never comes true and you look foolish.
Pričaj sporije
this guy is still peddling fake news about North Korea
LOL A cease fire with Zelensky ?!?! Are they simple in the head ????
Every human longs for peace ☮️ and love. Hiawatha
Danke🇷🇺
that would mean air defence is a legitimate target no matter what country it operates.
More BS about the North Koreans, FFS...
why is the azov battalion moderating the site? what was offensive about stating the truth that Russia can't trust the west and must finish the job they started? what azov protocal did i violate????
Ukraine has no good cards to play.
Zelenzky only got his high morale, when Russian got an error during they invaded the hostomel airport. Russian has no plan B with the attack. Thats why many advisors of Zelenzky is advicing him to continue the war effort to make Russia stop the invasion. What if Russian successfully execute his plan, maybe Kiev now is continueing speaking Russian.
Seeing that Putin has OCD and the denipra river is such a pretty straight line you can't expect him to stop😉
No negotiations even after the Kursk is emptied!!!! Russia needs to expand the goals to the Dnieper river
I have Military Summary in Serbian but I'm so used to English version that I can't switch
how is North Koreans fighting on Russian territories an escalation ? that is just nonsense. Anyway surely there are a reasonable number of North Korean officers who understand Russian this assumption that none of them speak 2x languages is typical English-speaking person's view of the world .... ie UK/US media
The cope is so big in this one. He still hope that NATO will do a miracle.
OTAN /WOTAN...do not confuse deities with nato and miracles.
ukrain is winning, rigth? )))
Right . No hesitation.
Who’s working OT deleting comments? Dima or YT algorithms?
Please forget your hysterical speculation an concentrate on the analysis of what is actually happening om the ground
