Picked up the full sized model a couple of months ago and love it. First time at the range I had nothing but magazine issues causing double feed after double feed. OEM glock mags fixed that issue and it’s ran like a top ever since!

In 2008 I traded this safe queen I could never get used to in for a Sig P229. In 2020 I tried out the Agency take on the G19 (with P80 grip) and knew this was what I had originally wanted but WAY too expensive. Watched this review (several times) and reviews on other 3G Glock clones and decided to try the P80 out. Got a brown one last week and finally got to the range yesterday. Wow! What a shooter! I realize how subjective a review can be but, to me, the PFC9 is exactly what I hoped I was buying in 1995. Also, to me, it is perfect out of the box and needs no immediate modification. At some point in the future I might buy a set of Tru Glo fiber optic sights but I can certainly live with the factory sights, in a way I never could live with the factory Glock sights. Something you were “iffy” on is the trigger. I just bought one today. I have read that they have eventual sear issues. But "ventual" is subjective. I squeezed 150 rounds after cleaning it and it ran great.
Built the G17 version. Not hard. Totally stock except a flared well and a light. It IS all about the ergonomics. Anything feels familiar after while, but this felt like an old friend from the start. Like trying out golf clubs or a racquet or a bat, you grab one and it's the right one and bam, it ends right there. It's that deal. Classic Firearms has this gun for $400 currently. Was thinking about ordering one. I had a Glock 19 Gen 4 when they first came out but, it wore my bird finger raw after 100 rounds. That trigger undercut on the PFC9 would probably alleviate that. My M&P's have always felt good in the hand.
At that price I’d definitely check it out. There’s another really good one I’m working on a review for, Zro Delta makes the FKS9 for the same price. High quality and running really well so far. T is a great guy. Glad to have you here. My advice for picking a concealment gun is to find a range that has a rental program. Spend a couple months going back and renting different pistols. Get a feel for how they shoot. Figure out what feels good in your hand and what gun seems to be consistently accurate. Thats the only way to pick a gun because what's comfortable for me, what im personally accurate with may not work the same for you
It’s funny because they come up with a new gen of glock and it’s like wait which one is the new glock cause it doesnt seem any different than the last one. There is zero innovation with the glock

Would parts from a pfc9 fit on a unsirealized bottom kit? I have a full build but looking into adding better components but if I can build a range pistol with the parts I have now that would be awesome
Yes. It’s the same lower. The only difference is the unserialized version isn’t complete when it comes to you. So you could definitely upgrade parts on your current gun and more those parts to a new lower

I don't really have an issue with the grip angle of the Glocks, but that is usually the biggest argument I hear from the majority of people that don't like Glocks. Although the majority of my semi auto handguns are Glock, I am by no means a Glock fanboy, I just prefer shooting what feels best in my hands and for me Glock feels good to shoot, of course I have bigger hands, so the chunkier grips of the Glock pistols fit my hands better.
And id say thats the biggest point that can be made…whatever feels best in your hand. I dont think anyone should buy a gun before range testing it against other guns to see what their level of accuracy and comfort it. That should always be part of the buying process.
If you are happy shooting Glocks, the P80 grip angle is still better. Just ergonomics. This is a no brainer. If you like the Glock 19 skip the Glock and buy the P80. I would never say way better than a Glock. It has advantages over the Glock for certain people. I do feel like 6” groups at that distance are incredibly unacceptable and its something I would email Polymer80 about if its one that was pre built, not an 80% build. Its possible that yours has a bad barrel. If I were doing it all over again I would buy just the frame and build it from the ground up. I actually may end up doing that over the next few months. None of this lovely 2A freedom means anything to those of us who live in Commiefornia, Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, Rhode Island and Washington....as cowards refuse to ship to us there.
While I understand and agree with a certain amount of how you feel, I have to say that your comment is a serious misrepresentation of what's going on and to be honest its a bit disrespectful to the companies working hard to preserve our rights. I live in Washington so Im going through it right now as far as the gun laws go. Thats an issue of voters in my state and the slow process of the supreme court finalizing rulings having to do with our freedom. A company not shipping to California because their product isnt legally able to be imported into the state doesn't make them cowards. What happens when they start breaking those laws? Next thing you know they find themself in court going up against state governments with legal budgets that will destroy companies in court. Instead they follow the rules while also donating to organizations like FPC who brings law suits against states that are trampling our rights. These companies put together fund raisers and spread awareness and bend over backward to do everything possible to get their product to you in your state but in a legal way while we wait for court rulings to fix these laws. Out of curiosity how much have you donated to Firearms Policy Coalition or any of the other organizations heading up the fight against those laws we all hate so much? It's easy to point and call them cowards, I get that. It's hard to get out in your community and spread thoughtful and intelligent awareness, bring in new voters, help people with opposing views understand where they have gone wrong. I get that. It's hard to donate money to the fight when we are in a shit economy ran by a geriatric Alzheimer's patient who shits his pants and falls asleep while attending events. I get that. Throw down $10 here and there for the cause, get out and be a positive force for the cause...but don't put that on frustration you have on companies that are literally the biggest reason you even have what 2A rights you have at this point. We need to unite, not fight

That is a steel city arsenal direct from their site. I can't leave a link or UA-cam will break my balls for "directing people to a site that sells gun parts". Do a search for Steel City Arsenal, that Magwell is legit
@@360TacticalSolutions to my understanding. The PFC9 and the PF940C have different frames? Yours looks to be like the PFC9, the serialized one that comes pre built? That is what I have, so which model magwell did you choose? Thanks
Is it just me, but when someone buys a P80 instead of building it out they lose man points...... Anyone share this opinion?
Its too bad there are states that have banned the 80% guns. Ill take that loss of “man points” over a weapon violation any day
I like the steel city mag well, but sheesh its $75
Honestly the majority of magwells are in that range. There are some plastic ones for $40 or so but Im definitely not interested in plastic for a magwell. I hate spending $75 but its worth it considering the quality
@@360TacticalSolutions I have not tried one. May need to look into them. I find the p80’s pretty good out of the box.
Dont buy 80% lower. Buy the whole pistol. I bought 2 kits and both out of spec. Gave em to a gunsmith see if he can salvage em. The customer service may be the worst ive ever experienced. Worse that taurus. I bought the complete pistol 1st and i love it. I definitley recomend complete pistol.
good video!
I love me glocks lol but that other one is nice! Salute
That Polymer80 is pretty nice. Still waiting for the holster to ship for it so I can carry it.
@@360TacticalSolutions righteous!
@@360TacticalSolutions what holster did you go with?
Damn I just learned a lot
Glad to hear it
@@360TacticalSolutions to bad there’s no legal way to have one in California. I could make one and request a serial number that’s about it
@@noobonpc275 Im in Washington and we arent far behind you as far as restrictive laws go. People keep saying just move...but its not as easy as all that unfortunately. Keep fighting the good fight because we lose when we don't stand together
This is what glock should be by now, i handled a p80 at my lgs and was amazed at how great it felt, i trust my life with glock but the ergonomics are just shit, the grip angle is a joke, and texture sucks. The remedy is getting a grip reduction+stipple, another $300 for a $600 dollar gun...
It’s funny because Glock has all the money and engineers and experience and customers…yet every generation they make is essentially the same as the last and they NEVER really advance the platform. Innovation isnt their thing. I love my Polymer80 for what it is. I prefer others like the M&P but I like having a glock based gun in the safe just in case, might as well be a polymer80
can u carry one at 18?
That depends on your state’s laws
Build don’t buy!
Its too bad that there are states where you cant build, and you have to buy
I shaved the rough grip off my polymer 80
It’s definitely not for everyone. I have a friend who used some 320grit sand paper to just lightly go over it to smooth his out. I personally prefer a more aggressive grip
@@360TacticalSolutions 👍🏻
Jesus..I'm here to learn about the P80 but your M&P is stealing the show, for me 😁
Haha yea that M&P tends to be a show stopper whenever I bring it out
Halfway through the video I saw the motherfuking Brotha Lynch Hung poster
I’m actually really surprised how often someone comments on it. Every time I’m thinking I should move that poster into another room someone leaves a comment and I have to just keep it right there in the office
@@360TacticalSolutions I came here just to mention this. Thank you for bringing me back to high school. 💜
@@360TacticalSolutions love the brother Lynn home poster too! I chilled with him and Chico, he’s super cool, so will a Glock 3gen 19 Magwell fit the polymer 80 PF940c? I literally saw an aluminum one on temu for six bucks. and since my wife orders that crap all the time I was gonna have her grab it for me, but I wasn’t sure if they were compatible?…
@@CarrieWard-ny1zl definitely won’t fit. All the internal parts are the same but the grip shape is different unfortunately. $6 would be a steal lol
Does it take Glock mags
Yes it is basically a Glock. All gen3 Glock parts will work on this gun
I bought this gun as it was touted as being way better than a stock glock , I hate hate hate this gun it is a pos it is one of the most inaccurate hand guns I own and have fired does not mater what bullet either it just shoots awful, I am talking 6 inch groups at 15, 20 feet it truly is a pos and it sucks because the fit feel ergonomics are fantastic on this handgun
Anyways, check in with Polymer80, maybe they can help get that accuracy dialed in with a new barrel
@@360TacticalSolutions Or he is just a terrible shooter.
@@jdmb03 there are a lot of people out there who arent good shooters but arent willing to admit it, let alone take the time to learn a new gun before branding it as total garbage
Glock > Clone
😂
Pinky chair?! 😅
Haha ya the pinkie has to be comfortable
Pimp I'm in my 20s my eyesight is trash
That sucks. It only gets worse with age
