    Heck yeah! Tried to grow one single fella in potting soil, but it developed no bulb. Maybe I didn't water enough?
    Oh well, got the perfect semi-shaded place where my Hostas didn't come back

      We get that here too! I always have to plant extra. They eat the spinach seeds too.

      I'm in zone 5, southern Minnesota!
      We haven't started anything. But I have all the seed ready. Soon we'll get into the 50s. It was an easy winter with less than 8 inches of snow!
