I often wonder. Just how many Hetzers are in museums and out working, privately owned or otherwise? It seems there are a lot of them on UA-cam videos. Even recently, I saw Bergehetzer. That one the most rare version.🙂👍
Oh I keep forgetting to comment if the museum has made a video on the Ikv 91 does it have someone talking about it who had been trained to use it back when it was in service and all the tidbits of info that the rest of the world wouldn't know. By info I mean tanker crew tips, for example like how the strv 103 has a very nice spot near engine that allowed aluminum-foil wrapped frozen wieners to be cooked at the end of some convoy driving so crews can have some nice morale boosting hot food at end of the days drive. :D
@4:15 Is that welded in piece just sheet metal where they cut out the armor in compliance with a law that the armor had to have weak spot so police could shoot someone using the vehicle for a rampage?
It was cut open for better visibility for the driver during tests in Sweden, but then welded shut in order to make it look as before. Nothing to do with police regulations
it's been too long, but always a treat to hear mr Doyle!
Ett stort tack till Hilary Doyle. Det är alltid lika intressant att lyssna på dina föreläsningar om stridsvagnar.
Always good when Hilary explains things
Hillary Doyle is a wealth of information on AFVs.
Very nice Video again. Mr Doyle seems to fit into the Hetzer much better then the Chieftain or Ralph Raths :)
It is quite amazing to know there were 4 crews inside such a cramped space of Jagdpanzer 38t !.
Think about travelling on a Fiat 500, often we in 5 or 6 people having great fun especially with pretty girls! Lol 😂😂
woo! always a treat when hilary doyle is in a video - thank you!
Amazing facts that I never knew. Thanks Hilary.
Another excellent video. Thank you Hilary, Stefan et al.
Great video
I have said this before, i can listen to Hilary Doyle telling me how paint drys. But, obviously even more interesting when a WW2 Panzer is involved.
Mr Doyle is having an easier time in that than a certain 6+ft Irishman did in another one of those :P
Fridays are tank content days, great great great.
A true expert!
His German Words are perfect !!
Very honored to hear Mr. Doyle.
Excellent video! That's the first time seeing the inside, for me.
why he knows every detail of anything? awesome!
Ever since I was a kid I thought the "jagd" versions of German tanks were so cool.

Got a book on pazer 38t witch this vehicle is based publiced by profile tank book are now out of print were detailed
Would it have been possible to exchange the positions of the commander and loader, or is there just not enough space on the right side of the gun?
Not possible as the loader would have had to stretch even further
Thanks, makes sense. It's hard to imagine without being inside an actual vehicle. I may have to build a full interior kit...
😊👍
👍👍👍!!
Very light weight 15 tons
@4:15 Is that welded in piece just sheet metal where they cut out the armor in compliance with a law that the armor had to have weak spot so police could shoot someone using the vehicle for a rampage?
only in the USA, all other countries do not have that problem XX

@@keithskelhorne3993 There's also a T-34 that was stolen in Budapest.
@@keithskelhorne3993 Its a law on the books in Germany, if not the entire EU. There is no such law in the US. Got any more dumb things to say?
Keep in real please
