- Norse of creation
Before there was soil, or sky, or any green thing, there was only the gaping abyss of Ginnungagap (a primordial void, filled with mists). The only thing that filled the universe was cold and heat. This chaos of perfect silence and darkness lay between the homeland of elemental fire “Muspelheim” and the homeland of elemental ice “Niflheim”.

1st Part
Odin he is the father of all the gods according to the norse mythology
and he is the god of wisdom, but also of poetry … for example
a god that would be linked to the aristocracy if you like.
He used to have to ravens that were called Huginn and Muninn
and this ravens they were flying all day over the earth
and in the night they were telling him everything that they were watching.
Huginn and Amuninn means this words in old norse … “memory” and “thought”.
So we see how the god of wisdom is informed by his flying memory’s and thought’s that watches us all … and that’s my favoured one …
Odin the god of wisdom.
This is reflected in this myth of this god Njord
He was married the the goddess of the mountains and the snow because it was a reflection of how the people were surviving here, because of the see but also because of the mountains.
2nd Part:
Another very important thing to humans, that was the knowledge about the rules. He (Odin) hanged him self from the tree of live for nine days and nine nights without eating or drinking anything and then by the end of this own sacrifice and behalf of knowledge again, he knew how to carve and how to read the rules … the inscriptions.

Fantastische Aufnahmen!
Incredible, so inspiring, earlier this year I visited my brother who's working at the viking museum currently, and I can say from experience that being surrounded by all them vast lakes and giant mountains that I have never felt so connected with myself and with earth. Not to go all hippy but fuck I miss Norway. This is exactly the kind of thing I would love to do for a living, is making films like this, ofc I've got soo much to learn but learning and teaching yourself new things is what makes it all so fun (most the time) aha. I made a lil film myself but its nothing compared to this, this is just...lost for words mate, fuckin qualityyyyyyyyyyyy. Love it, gonna go binge all your other videos now...
