Hey Drew, all that stuff is easy when you know how. Doesn't mean it's not stressful to throw the last switch... Good work!
Absolutely 😂!! Double, triple, quadruple checking is key!
you should have made the bottom part a drawer you could pull out easily
Great video Great Peeps . ❤❤ Ya'll Sooo Much .
❤️❤️❤️ Always love seeing your comments!
Really nice layout. 24V makes long runs so much easier as well!
Thank you! 24v is the way to go!
I have not seen a similar set up, but I like it. I assume the top board will be well vented or have a couple good computer fans to provide air flow for the components.
Ventilation seems to be okay so far but a fan or addition vent is something we’re considering in the near future! Never a bad idea!
@@OurWayToRoam Fans are cheap and very low power. If I had a simple way to bring in air from the bottom and exit near the top you could get convection flow even if any fans are off. Heat is a killer in electrical systems as you can never anticipate the crazy situation. Aircraft have redundant cooling systems on avionics.
whats the insert between the cells? any consideration for rollover or crash protection securing wise?
That should be plenty of battery storage, yep. :D
That should do it 😂 haha
Its been a while hello 😊
Hello hello! Thanks for watching ☺️
Great job, come to Arizona and do my coach. 😂
What did you use to convert 24 V to 12 V for your lights
The victron Orion! Linked in the description and we talk about to more at 2:42
Marine grade cables?
Always!
I’m curious why you chose aluminum clad wire as well as The plates that go between the battery. I just thought you were supposed to always use copper.
Both the bus bars between cells and the terminal lugs are copper with a tin coating. This protects the from corrosion and oxidation. Wire is copper as well.
Are 16 of that type of battery's better then the bigger ones
These are the same cells that are in bigger batteries but it is more affordable to build from cells yourself! Also saves space because you can fit them into the shape you need ☺️
@@OurWayToRoam thank you
What is that a iPhone 4
iPhone SE 🤣 it’s quite old

Smile when you say that! I have an SE 2022 and am quite happy with it. I’m not interested in those crazy big phones they keep making. And besides I bought my phone case when I had a 6S and it still fits my phone. It’s the last of the decent color Magpul phone cases and considering how often I drop my phone, the case stays! The only thing I don’t like is that I have to take the phone out of the case to take pictures. Small price to pay!
