This song is the equal to Hi Ren or Money Game pt 3. Lyrically and compositionally. It's an amazing and crushing peek inside what Ren's faced medically. The lines "33 and hurting cursing/Jesus died at 33 and still my sins are lurking, etc" are a reference to the fact that he once thought he would be dead before 30 of his illness. Now he's 33, but he's still in limbo--he has a diagnosis and is getting treatment, but at the same time, he's still coping with the collateral damage--still in physical pain, still having to make provisional plans about his life and career, subject to his illness. Even as we celebrate how far he's come.
