Chung , in this view a true professional, warming up and stretching his most important tool, his body. If you get insured, what can you do ? Better be prepared.
Hi guys, thanks so much for all your amazing feedback! I am very happy to share with you now also the Part 2 of this training! Hope you enjoy it, please leave your comments and give some more suggestions! Here it is: ua-cam.com/video/En7-zcwv-1c/v-deo.html
Awesome video. Chung was probably thinking why you weren’t warming up too lol. Chungs body is a money making machine. No body no money! Thanks for the video
Thanks Jeff, appreciate your comment and I'm really glad that you liked the video. Yes Chung is a beast! Still don't forget that at this level, physical is a MUST. Most of the game ends up being mental. So all these guys are insanely strong mentally! This is where I give them my biggest respect!
Thanks for an interesting question. Definitely use the same official balls as in match. For tension I am not 100% sure but I believe that would use the same as in matches. Of course they would not use that same racquet they hit with in the warm up.
LOL!!! SO EMOTIONAL. CANT GET ANYMORE SERIOUS THAN THIS. GLAD HE LET GO. I CRIED TO THIS. BEAUTIFUL. BAHAHAHAHAHA. Thanks for explaining that playing half court reduces space, I had no freaking idea........
how do you 'weight transfer' forward when you hit your forehand? i notice your left leg lifts up when you hit your forehand and weight stays in the back.
question, I've always want to know who is the one that get to practice with the pro? It is his team only or do certain level sign up to practice with them ? thanks
TENFITMEN tennis impulse thanks for the response! I am really curious how it was like hitting with Novak. He seems to hit a lot flatter than I thought. Is this true? I've hit next to Andy Roddick a few times and his shots have a completely different trajectory. You can obviously see that Andy puts alot of effort in brushing the ball but I dont see that with novak. It looked like he was slapping everything against you.
TENFITMEN tennis impulse I also think that might be why Americans arent doing very well. They emphasize hitting high and heavy, yet build the game around the big forehand. Those two dont go very well together
@@CoDINmyHEART being one of the best tennis players in the world, is no easy feat, hell being one of the top 1000 tennis players in the world is pretty damn good lol.

Keep it up man and I’ll keep watching. 👍👍👍
Thanks so much Jamil, really appreciate your kindness. Yes, definitely, this experience is almost unreal. I can't describe the feeling in a better way then sharing these videos and leaving my thoughts in the comments. Thanks again!
Because he is good enough to hit with, and a strong serve. As you say, a very weak backhand and he looks quite stiff. If one got him to move a lot then he is in big, big trouble. @@timharreither3160
Awesome !! It would have been nice to have your feedback on his shots compared to de minaur. Spin etc. Anything. I saw a video of a former 250 rank ATP player who hit with Roger Federer and gave his feedback afterward in a debrief vidéo. He said that you can't really notice on TV but RF forehand has quite a lot of RPM....
Thanks for your comment and interesting story. As I can remember, Alex was able to produce a bit heavier shots with less power, maybe due to heavier swing weight of the racquet or maybe the mechanics of the swings. However, Chungs shots were just so super clean and smooth, it was a pure joy to play with him!
@@tenfitmentennisimpulse Lol, that is a super famous line of Darth Vader in the Star Wars movies, sorry for the confusion. Love your tennis videos man! Keep up the good work!
Have you tried to go a little bit under ball with your backhand. Looks to me a bit flat not really topsin. But nice video and great hitting Love your channel
Thanks so much for your comment and advice! I actually spent years in making my backhand more or less consistent, but I did it with a bit extreme grip on my dominant hand which gave me more difficulties to generate a lot of top spin on every shot! That kind of backhand felt very solid, but when I played with these guys, when I watched the videos I recorded, compared the technique AND also after reading some comments (including yours), I realized I need to change it so it can become much more solid! And actually that happened today! I had an amazing moment! I hit some backhands like never before. So I am changing my backhand! More on this soon in future videos! (You can check my Instagram, I made a post there about this as well, @tenfitmen ). Thanks again so much!!!
@@tenfitmentennisimpulse oh nice man , actually i had the same backhand like yours extrem grip. But I had a real Problem with low bouncing balls so i changed it. But for me it took a long to feel confident with this grip. Now i actually play a real good backhand. Looks a bit like nishikori. Thanks so much, really glad you like this kind of videos. Please if you can, share them with few friends who you think might like to watch it too. That's an awesome experience! How did you feel during those hits? Adrenaline, nerves, excitement? :)
I often say to people, it is the best form of coaching to hit with higher level players as you cant simulate that experience. In a way it is easier because, like chung in this video, they hit so cleanly and have such control of their ball flight it helps your reading of the ball - you just have to learn to react quicker with your feet at this level. I loved it. Your commentary reminds of my experience and emotions but most of all i just wanted to enjoy so concentration was huge but equally you are just in the zone which i put down to the ease of timing when they hit so controlled. Keep up the great work ... look forward to watching more videos. All of my tennis friends love these vids - nice forehand by the way!
Thanks Denis for the comment and a question. Mikhail Kukushkin was quite challenging one because he hits so fast, especially his backhand which sometimes almost feels like it has a backspin :) I played twice with him though so I got used to it! I will share those trainings soon as well!
@@tenfitmentennisimpulse I heard Kukushkin's tensions are ridiculously 9.5lbs (not KG) to 19lbs, depending on the situation. I wonder how he doesn't spray the ball all over the places....

Thanks a lot for your comment and kind words. Really glad you liked the hitting, please if you can, share this video with few friends who might also enjoy it. Thats one of the things I cant stand with some pro athletes, Chung couldve exchanged a few words, it wouldn't have killed him to do so, it had nothing to do with being in any kind of zone, I call that being rude. Attitudes like that is why I'm not a fan of any player, I love the sport, I play it fairly well but I'm not a fan of these guys, they can kiss my ass.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts with us. I see your point, some of the players are a bit too distant from everything around them but I don't blame them. It's just their way to prepare for the match. Possibly on the day when they don't have a match, training might be a bit different and more relaxed.
The length of stretching Chung does just shows you how much respect he has for tennis, his opponent, and most importantly his body.
