Keep the videos coming bro! I just received an offer from pepsi to be a merchandiser and I'm a little nervous of what's to come, but this video along with the other one definitely helps give me a better idea of what I'll be doing on the day to day
I just pulled my first week as a swing Merchandiser. I feel like once I get in a groove and get my body used to the extra work it'll be a good job. I've worked 13 years at a grocery store so I'm already kind of used to this nature work. The first two days were hard but I pulled through. The last 2 days were much easier. I am picking up on the job and it's getting easier already. Sure, one stop is going to be a bear but I'll figure out a way to facilitate the load. The better a routine I get and the more tricks I learn the easier the job will be. The people over at PBV in Jonesville, NC have all been fantastic to work with!
Pepsi stay there it's a good company started as merchant went up to sales rep then relief then CDL geo driver and now I'ma bout to be really soon an SDL sales rep on top of all merchandise rs
i work for a family owned pepsi factory as a merchandiser and our stores are never that bad in the back room i pray your stores treat you better brother.
Although you're not followed around by your boss, you still have bosses at each location which I thought was worse, they can (but not always) treat you like shit. Moving stuff around to get to yours. Someone/something is always in your way or your always in theirs. Not bad job but people can definitely make you hate it! especially managers, department leads and back door associates and the take down your end caps or move them and don't tell you and boom you have more product than you know what to do with or can put in back stock, you can and will get blamed for something another vendor/merchandiser did.
@@carlosvelasquez5748 right. We offering a service for them. If I have any issues with the store manager or workers good for you not marching your store today. 👍good luck with no mtn dew. Got other stores to go to anyways
Haven't experienced that but have had receivers with a stick up their ass randomly decide to kick an order because they thought it was too much product. They don't know shit about anything regarding store volume so idk why they're allowed to make those decisions. Besides, they don't even touch the product anyways.

Got a interview next week for a Pepsi merchandiser. I've seen videos on Coke merchandisers and everyone tells me it sucks and they hate it. Is Pepsi different? How do you like the job?
It’s just as terrible I quit today. Favoritism, no work life balance. 9 times out 10 if you are hired as a merchandiser it’s due to some one quitting a fucked up route & now you will be the guy to fix it. Good Luck
I'd suggest keeping contact with the person you interviewed with. I had to stay on top of them every step of the way. Call them all you need to; don't expect them to keep on top of all their employees.
I heard back within a few days. Got an interview scheduled on a Saturday in under a week, then got hired the following Monday. Took a total of like 6-8 days to get hired.
Saw a posting for this in my area. $21 per hour, part time. No way in hell. I know how stores will do nothing for the drivers or restocks and the pay for part time does not justify the work. After taxes that's less than $400 a week you're taking home. Hard pass.
Nobody lol sometimes a salesman will come in behind you and if they’re cool they’ll hook you up and stock what you didn’t or is empty. But for the most part you come in the next day and stock it again or sometimes they’ll have you do a re-hit which makes you do that store twice in one day

Sales rep just order product for stores; merchandisers put the salesman’s orders on the shelf and coolers they come on the truck delivery days.
