I finished my rewatch of Violetta 2 (thank you very much Disney+ for uploading it) and I totally forgot how much I shipped these two. Well, I should say "ship" because I still do. Despite Diego and Ludmila's initial plan, Diego truly fell in love with Violetta. Personally, I think Violetta should have forgiven him since she dealt with a lot of lying in season one and knows how hard it can be to tell the truth sometimes, especially when you know you could lose someone you love. I'll never get over the fact that Violetta ended up with the guy who caused the most pain in her life. Literally, in every season Violetta and Leon were fighting about something. Also, the only reason Leon started dating Violetta in the first place was to get back at Tomas for "stealing" Ludmila from him. If Violetta knew that would she have ended up with someone else?
Violetta started liking Diego while she was with Leon (even though she wouldn't admit it) and you know what they say, "If you fall in love with two people, choose the second because if you truly loved them you wouldn't have fallen for the second one".

Of course!! I completely agree about Leon. I never liked him because he just didn’t have much depth to him in my opinion. Basically all we know about him is that he likes singing and motor cross, and we know who he dated... that’s pretty much it. With Diego we got his whole backstory and saw how he and Violetta connected. We also saw how his feelings grew for her.
goshhh, this is so beautifully done🥺. and i completely agree with everything in the description, esp how infuriating that endgame was. these two will always be my biggest loss and it’s still ridiculous to me how other people chose to root for the most toxic/exhausting relationship in the entire show (the writers included). whatever, in my mind v left l*on and years later went back to diego. tysm for this!

Yesss! Your edit is really beautiful!!! and Ive read your description and I agree with you totally, Diego treated her so good and she really made a men out of him. Their chemistry was the best one in the show, and Violetta was so happy with him (despite the feelings of Leon she still had), she was just smiling and laughing all the time!!! and vice versa for Diego, I'll never forgive the writers for ruining themmm ugh
