For me the priority is everything that increases the Demon Stock, the Gauge filling up and everything that gives you some healing/mp to reduce down time. Then in between grab the ones that allow your demons/nahobino to have more skill slots. In the middle game try to grab stuff to reduce cost of healing, cost of making new demons, getting more items/macca from machines
Idk how the demon garrison isn’t a priority for you lol the game severely limits how much you can keep in stock, which in turn limits how much you can fuse. I get those as soon they become available because I’m constantly leveling up and fusing new demons to inherit better skills
sure you not playing on easy/normal which are insanely easy and you dont have to use mechanics at all for most of the game. only hard begins to give a challenge and feel like an actual SMT game
@@Zsilu3 Because there are miracles that builds up your Magatsuhi meter or gain advantage in which you gain a huge chunk when your turn ends. Pair that with Omagatoki: Luck and you'll level up very quickly. Of course, this will all be irrelevant if you have the DLC.

Nice , there is a loot of new players playing SMT now , hope it helps anyone having it ruff
How to unlock all the skill slots? I only have 5 slots for the demons and the main character. Not enough at all.

Hey man, thanks for the tips and opinions.
Starting watching your vids for RGG8, and im going thru these SMTVV vids as well!
you dont guard? damn man you're gonna get butchered midgame on hard/godborn
Not true because when guarding becomes good I will start guarding. The bosses have been so easy so far there has been no need to.

@cal5365 I am on hard. It's a very easy game for most of the playthrough however I have a lot of experience with this type of combat system.
If you want to level up quickly, you'll need to guard.
Why?
