As a second year Trapper (Some trapping about 8 years ago) this is one of the best learning videos I've ever seen. I hope you can do more like this showing that you don't always have success. It makes it so real. Thanks
Stu I've learned so much from your vids. Especially the fur processing. Every year I revisit your channel for new ones and reference... you're one of the most knowledgeable trappers on the tube. Have a good one brother
I am not a trapper but it is interesting to see how a trapper thinks, works and the successes they have. From what Inhabe seen you know how to both fish and trap, as well as a pretty accomplished jack of all trades! Impressive!😊
I feel like if we connected sometime, I could teach you a lot. I’ve been trapping for 36 ish hours now and I’m pretty much a pro! I’m tight on time but if you ever want to make it happen, I will see what I can do. (This is sarcasm, minus the 36 hour part, that part is correct hahahaha)
I’ll take every chance to see how people do successful blind sets. I’m yet to connect on one..... so it seems I have a lot to learn. Thanks and nice job bud!
I’m not the type of dude to sit and watch hour long videos but man I could watch this all day. Actually motivated me to get back out this year. Jealous of your 220’s on land tho. Big no no here in Ohio. Keep the chains rattlin ol boy!
awesome addition with the drone footage Stu! Would love if you could do a video on taking screenshots with the drone and using a write over pen program showing your thoughts on where to put traps and why
I've been watching your videos since 2016, I have picked up on some really good tips. I trap some now, but not as much as i used to. ya know, age catches up to us all sooner or later. I'm running about a 20 set line a day and will start come Jan. keep making them and I'll keep watching.
Most of my line has always been walking in. Great exersize lol. I could drive in only if it had been dry as hell or if the ground is frozen down good. Most of the time it's wet and above freezing. So I get my plastic sled and load stuff up, and drag it along. Yes, a small line, no longlining.
Good line you had there. A real shame you couldn’t keep the cat. They made me a lot of money in Texas forty years ago when the price was still good. Enjoyed the video brother
Very good video. Just something that might help. You can buy a blow up rafe to use to help you cross those small creeks when they flood. You can even carry it or store it somewhere down by the creek👍
As of 1 December 2020, a total of 289 mink farms have been affected, which accounts for approximately 20% of all mink farms in Denmark.so this looks great for this years mink prices!
I want to know if you take in consideration of wind direction when making a set. Also, direction of trap jaws in coordination to the hole or the direction the COYOTE might come into set !
thank you for the great video! my only question is when it comes to dispatching whefe are you aiming to minimize the damage to the pelt? thank you for your time.
Awesome video I’m try to get back into it it’s been a struggle to find ground to trap sooner or later I’ll get back up and running love your videos keep’em coming
Why is the point in the pasture field an optimal place to set? Do you have a specific video that really does an in-depth breakdown of your canine set? Dirt hole or otherwise.
Otter are crazy bro they will go up and down runoffs, I'm talking like a couple few feet wide and like going threw culverts even over frozen runoffs and they'll run through the woods and what not on there way to another water area.... Also I seen the sand there look for scat everywhere there is sand for sure they love using same areas for toilets brother!!!!
I watched the whole damn thing. And thank you for teaching me how to skin animals and get me into trapping. I appreciate it man. Keep it up. I learned a lot in this video as well as the other ones too🇺🇸👍🏼
Sorry the audio went to low when you were talking about the dispatch device. Your welcome to pm me as I just got my certificate and am soaking up yt knowledge right now. Thank you.
Excellent work, I enjoy each of you videos! I am a huge fan of fur trapping, fur is one of the best sources that nature provides us! What a pity you had to release the bobcat. Did you regret releasing it? Are you going to obtain the permit for bobcats?
Thank you for sharing your knowledge. New to trapping but already addicted. Managed 7 fox on 8 sets over three weeks. Loving it. Do you have a go to set bait and lure for bobcat?
I’ll watch any video you put up but PLEASE try an get a few more out with this format, loved it! Also I am a huge fan of your live vids
I'm glad you released the cat
I started out using my bike in 1984. When the snow started my dad was nice enough to drive me on my line.
That orange spot on that coon is sweet
excellent video, thank you.

I love to see your set, the catch and a logical explanation of why you set where you set... all in the same video. great job!
I like the drone footage. Gives a good perspective of what you're working with.
great video thanks

Very well done. Great drone footage and a great way to show the big picture. Lots of good sets, and explanation!

that's awesome that those dog proofs allow a quick release of smaller un desired catches...
I still learning from you man! 3yrs straight! Thanks!

Very good stuff , for everyone from the beginner to the experienced trapper.
I like all of your videos, but these longer ones like this that show everything on the line are great.

Nice to see a old way we did trapping.

Mine too as I trap all public land
Good line you had there. A real shame you couldn’t keep the cat. They made me a lot of money in Texas forty years ago when the price was still good. Enjoyed the video brother
Great stuff! That's the way I ran lines in highschool. Got a good laugh out of the creek "neck down". Keep it up!

Good video. Thanks again I wish I could get the video when it's not a few months old. But I enjoy just the same.
Enjoyed this long format a lot Stu! You missed an edit with reference to the neck down of the creek. “Did I just.....dangled my wrists” 😂😂😂
haha yea i left that in there in purpose. thought it was kinda funny.
Nice video Stu and I think a lot of guys will get something out of it. Later and thanks for sharing.
First video I’ve ever watched on trapping, I’m hooked, thanks for all the informative videos, I hope to start my on videos in 2021
One of my favorite videos!
Great video. I like the start to finish line aspect. Still one of the best channels on UA-cam.good luck out there 👍👍😎

I'm seeing this now, from three yrs ago, when fur was more than a few bucks

Great video!
You have made me get into trapping but down here in Texas trapping is not the best. But our coins here get huge
My average is 25-30 lbs

great video. I walk alot of the properties I trap.

Catch and release that should make the tree huggers happy!😂

Awesome video as always ive learned a ton from u and putting it to use
Sorry the audio went to low when you were talking about the dispatch device. Your welcome to pm me as I just got my certificate and am soaking up yt knowledge right now. Thank you.
Nearly every night for me is like your possom night. Two years ago I had 25ish coyote sets over about 55 acres and in one night caught 14 possoms.
Now we should skin that cat 🐈

Another great video!!!
Where do you recommend placing your shot when dispatching a trapped animal?
I see bobcats nearly every time I go bow hunting
One of your best vids.
Good video. Huffin and puffin like an old man like me 🙂
Kick ass show as always !!
Very good video enjoyed watching. Just wondering have you heard about Bill HR 8828 they are trying to pass in the federal level
