- A new gold mine in Ontario's North will deliver billions in wages, and hundreds of jobs for communities hurting from COVID's economic impact. Xiaoli Li has more on the new project, east of Sudbury.
First they bankrupt the small businesses, then they hand them out potential work to enrich the government and those with close ties.
I hope local Canadians will be able to get jobs there in the mine.
Have a look at a map. Who would want to? Also you realize we have not enough skilled miners. We need immigration in Canada just to run the place!
@@CharlesReece-nr2wr A lot of young men would gladly work tough jobs in a remote area for good pay. Just cuz its dirty work doesnt mean no Canadian will work.
You realize it is a matter of higher education here in Canada to work in a mine. Also realize that the destitution and weather send many a strong man home. If you have never been there as a non native you don't even have a clue how bad it can be.
@@CharlesReece-nr2wr Canada may have higher standards for its own workers but that doesn't mean foreign companies share those same standards. If a mistake happens let it be a Canadian one.
