      @@masterchief7301 Great feedback. Maybe I’ll do a video about the Cover Letter and your LinkedIn profile. Would that be helpful? I was thinking an Interview Prep video using ChatGPT would be super helpful too. What are your thoughts?

    • @masterchief7301
      @masterchief7301 8 місяців тому

      @artificiallyintelligenthumans personally I would rank the options this way:
      1. CV: Why? Great companion video to the resume one
      2. Interview: Why? It would complement the resume and CV videos
      3. LinkedIn: Why? It is used a lot, but compared to CV and interview help, it would seem to me that that's the least likely to generate buzz and find a useful niche for people
      As an aside, have you thought about using GPTs to make this even easier to reproduce and do? Maybe put an interface on top and have several GPTs play against each other. If you are programmatically inclined? Free app idea lol

    What I really love about this tutorial it teaches you how to go through easy step by steps. I prefer to use this as a tool rather do all of my resumes for me. I like to use this to gain insight and tweak it again afterwards myself. The job market is difficult at the moment. I'm trying to leave an industry that is actually growing because it is not for me. I hope I can get into something better for me and my family someday. :-)

    I just stumbled upon this and usually channels with low subs don't really have high quality videos. This was next level. I don't know how efficient this would be if you're trying to apply to 30-40 jobs but the level of detail is amazing. I at least plan on trying this for a few roles that I'll be applying for, keep making videos, you're doing great work!

    • @artificiallyintelligenthumans

      @crazycowboy that's AWESOME to hear!! To be honest, this works best in the beginning when you have an absolute dream job that you really want to get past the ATS scanners for and at least get an interview. It's a lot to ask for 20-30 applications when you're first getting a hang of it. But once you get comfortable and learn how to quickly edit the prompts for ChatGPT to fit your ideal role, you'll wonder why you haven't been doing it all along!!
      I just posted a follow up video by popular request from the community, that shows you how to shape your LinkedIn profile to complement the dream job resume. That way, when recruiters go to your LinkedIn profile, they'll see a comprehensive story that backs up why you're the perfect candidate. Hope you have a chance to check it out!

    This video was helpful and assigning roles to chat gpt before prompting was great idea that helped a lot. As a constructive subjective ccritisism I would advice :
    1. Leave a bigger pause between the transitions and from the prompt to the showcases so people have time to pause it and copy it if they are following along, it took great precision to get the whole prompt in a screen frame.
    2. Maybe add the prompts in the description so people can follow along more easily if that is the goal of the video.
    Thank you again for the video it was really informative.

So we're on the same wavelength! :) But yes, I will definitely try to make the on-screen prompts easier to digest in future videos as well. Thank you so much for watching and for taking the time to care enough to send a message. Prompt download coming soon!

      Yeah it’s something that we just don’t think about, but the reality is that ChatGPT partially learns from information that people enter, and will sometimes regurgitate it in other conversations. Unfortunately that’s where some of its inaccurate information stems from. But I wouldn’t lose sleep over it. I’m glad you enjoyed the tutorial. I hope it comes in handy! Let me know if it works out for the next role you apply for!

      and secondly,I'm not sure if the voice in the video is your own or one generated through artificial means, but it's very pleasant to the ear and greatly enhances the presentation.:))

These are all created with my voice. Sometimes when I’m editing them I wonder if I sound robotic 🤔 so I do my best to throw some tone and inflection in as much as I can. The error message below was what I got when I ask ChatGPT to compare original & revised versions.
    I'm sorry, but I can't directly compare your original resume with the revised version, as I do not have the capability to edit documents or create tables with content from them. My function is to provide guidance and suggestions based on the information you provide. I can offer advice on what changes to make, but I can't modify your documents directly or create comparison tables with specific content from them. If you need further assistance with refining your resume, feel free to ask for more specific advice or tips!

    • @artificiallyintelligenthumans
      @artificiallyintelligenthumans  7 місяців тому

      Hi @banjoriconsulting6240, this might just be a matter of changing the phrasing for ChatGPT to understand what you are requesting. From what I can understand from its response, ChatGPT thinks you are asking it to physically (digitally) rearrange your resume for you. When it says, “I can’t edit documents or create tables”, it thinks you’re asking it to do that. I would simply ask it for the advice that it’s referring to, since that’s what you want. Then once it has given you the changes, you can ask it to place it in table format. Out of curiosity, are you using 3.5 or 4.0?
      If you’re not able to get what you need from those suggestions above, please shoot me an email at the address in the description and I’ll be happy to help you out directly.
