Using the aoe 3 models instead of building new ones so that you can actually focus only on the mith units is briliant actually. Saves lots of time and fits very well
The campaign is complete, but there are a few rough spots here and there. The mission outros for the 3rd 4th and the 5th level only play if you press the "Next Scenario" button after completing a mission. Mission 5 is the final level.
I hope the new civilization after chinese will be the Aztecs ! Return of the Gods has been an insanely clean work from our community ! :D But at this point with mythologies, most of them are hella cool and badass, so I'm kinda hyped either way !
its very likely they'll use a lot of the aztec work. It's forgotten empires after all, they've done this several times before. Question is which aztec they'll draw inspirations from.
*Intro cutscene starts* *Flute starts blaring* Me: I wish they animated one of the characters throw something at the flute guy to shut him up cause he is blaring over the dialogue.
Looks cool but dearie me, the prologue voice acting is just not it (is it AI?) its poorly mixed and so flat, there's no attempt to even slightly pronounce the names correctly either, i'm glad they at least recycled aoe2 voice lines in game because theyre miles better. also you misspelled the title

I'd recognise those AoE2 Aztec audio clips anywhere. Looks like a cool campaign.
I appreciate this and all the hard work they went to. Assets looks great, but the Audio needs a lot of work from levels to voice acting.
I think if they turn the music down it won't be so bad. Most custom scenarios don't even have audio

This could be foreboding of the next AOM Retold expansion scheduled to arrive after the all new Chinese pantheon.
