Imagine the amount of stress that fell off these teens and twenties by getting just a little time with these pets. I bet they really needed the distraction and the puppies loved the outing. Can you imagine (if you aren't a college student) how much this helped them out? College kids sometimes, never get to see their parents or pets from home due to moving and such and with this, they get that missing tenderness and affection to recharge themselves from those puppies. Love it.
This is so true! My university has days, especially around final exams, where they will bring puppies and dogs from a local shelter. Our library has a program that brings in therapy dogs for a week to let students have a chance to play and relax with dogs. It's definitely something I always look forward to each semester!

That's exactly what I thought!
1. think of their mother who produced them in 'corgi farms'. they got separated at birth and she has to endure giving birth and being separated litters after litter for the rest of her life. 2. think of the stray dogs rescued that cried in harsh living conditions day after day waiting to be adopted, they might have to endure this for the rest of their lives. either way, its just not fair....... like for the cuteness, dislike for the humanity.

I have a Pembroke corgi. His name's Cooper. He is the most adorable thing and was literally the cutest puppy i'd ever seen! They're a great dog if you're thinking of getting one!
My mother who used to show Cardigan Welsh Corgis also had a Pembroke named Emmy and nicknamed her "Emmy the Pemmy!

I have a corgi who is 10 years old, turning 11 years old in June. He grew up with me. I remember when I first got him. He is still a very playful dog.

REMINDS ME OF WHEN I GOT MY P.W.CORGI (NAMED "FOX") AGE 9 WEEKS IN 2007. Today, he's about 6 &1/2 years old, and my best buddy. He is definitely a herder. Chases & plays with Great Dames and St. Bernards at the dog park.
Sadly, on May 22nd, 2018, my buddy, "Fox" passed away.

My college should just add a $50 puppy fee to every student to make sure there's a room full of puppies on campus. I think that would make us lots happier.

We had a corgi and played tug of war with her all the time as a puppy. If you play tug of war, let them win. Or else they can be aggressive. She was aggressive but still great. Chased away a black bear in Great Smoky mtn Natl park. I ve heard different arguments but I think it's best to let a Corgi win and not play too rough, as we did.

I ve read differing accounts. With our girl we pulled hard with her until she was snarling and aggressive.We did this a lot when she was young. Eventually we would overpower her and win, I think the important part is to avoid making the puppy aggressive. Which means you have to let them win.It certainly depends on the trainer and the dog,
