Wooden Toaster disappeared, BDP only made one more song next year, Tombstone was getting out of the fandom. So I always saw this song as the final send off of the MLP fandom. Plus, I think it's poetic. To end off on such a positive note. And the song is all about expressing yourself and "Coming alive." Fighting the fears of the crowd and others, and being who you are.
I still am a kid (recently 14.) When this first came out, my dad blasted it in the car while taking me for a drive down the highway, since we both loved going fast.
