This video really helped me learn more about this phase and how it releases CCK and secretin to stimulate other components of the digestive system. This was helpful but i thought in the notes you had said that the parotid salivary gland was innervated and stimulated by the glossopharyngeal nerve and that the submandibular and sublingual were innervated by the facial nerve?
Bio 327- There was a lot of information said and it was easy to follow, but it would have been easier to follow if there were some diagrams and maybe use different colors for the different phases.
This was a very solid video explaining the different phases of digestion. Before, when we talked about it briefly in class it didn't make much sense, but now the different phases and the regions they correspond to all make sense. Do both CCK and Secretin work to inhibit peristalsis? And if so, where do they go to inhibit that mechanism?

The salivary glands are stimulated by facialis and glossopharyngeus, not vagus. Vagus stimulates the gastric glands.
