Peter Gabriel's Grammy Award winning film "Secret World Live" has now been newly restored and remastered from the original film to be seen and heard in the best possible quality on DVD/Blu-ray. Filmed in Modena, Italy across two nights in November 1993 as part of Peter Gabriel's acclaimed "Secret World Live" tour in support of the "Us" album, the show is elaborately presented and choreographed with two stages joined by a narrow pier. Peter Gabriel has always been a charismatic live performer with the ability to draw his audience into the onstage world he has created and rarely has this been better captured than on "Secret World Live".

How did the home theater turn out? I hope that you bought the Blu-ray or DVD. The Steam intro is even more awesome in surround sound. I have "Secret World Live" on VHS, DVD, and Blu-ray! I saw the show live in Rochester, NY! It was before Paula Cole joined the tour. Sinead was supposed to be there but was sick. I don't recall who the understudy was. It was still one of the best concerts that I have been to.
One of the best live openings to any song. Love it!

Mr Gabriel is no mere mortal so the physics and constraints that limit the rest of us don't kick in.
Were they using playback? How could they get it so perfect with so much motion on stage?
In the vinyl liner notes it says that they added in studio vocals in post-production to clear up quality, the same goes for every of Peter's live albums (and most live albums to be honest).
Peter Gabriel you need to know that you have black fans. Keep up the good work.

Hace la introducción del tema en italiano....dice que es un tema que habla del calor del vapor....ya que Steam en ingles es Vapor...
I like this song and this is a good version of it, but......if I was a betting man, I would bet that Peter is lip-synching this rather than bet he wasn't. There are almost no close up shots of him singing and those that are seem a bit suspect to me. Could be wrong, but I would bet I am not.
