The fact that each of them includes an onboard sequencer and the generous number of trigger outs on the TR-06 makes it super fun to jam with them like this. What I really want now is a boutique style multi effects unit with a few independent channels of input/output (like a mini patchbay). That would basically complete the set for me.
Thanks for watching! Yeah, the Typhon is a little marvel. It has a beautiful raw tone but really comes to life with all the modulation options, the amazing onboard effects and sequencer. I used to be a bit dismissive of onboard effects on synths (on the basis that I’d rather use my favourite separated hardware or software effects anyway) but they are implemented so well on the Typhon that it has really changed my mind on that. Shows how powerful they can be when they are carefully tailored to the synth’s other capabilities.
@@medardfischer same for me. i like them alot when they bring something to the sounddesign aspect, but most of the time its just standart reverb/delay which i mostly use for mixing. and i rather do this itb also.

The SH-01A is one of my most frequently-used synths, and although I just purchased the TR-06 recently, I can already tell it will become a favourite. Very punchy sound and I love the multiple trigger outputs.
I highly recommend the SH-01A. Five minutes of playing with it in a store and I was sold. It’s proven to be one of my most useful and inspiring synths. Enjoy the TR-06! I’m still learning it but it has been loads of fun so far.
