Given the AC cooling effects of Japanese manufacturers, I don’t think ventilated seats is a necessity in City e-HEV. However, would make sense for German manufacturers like Skoda & VW
@@dekarunabh yes agreed.. I have ZX MT and my back gets slightly wet due to Leather upholstery otherwise the cooling is fantastic... I even did off-roading in remote areas of Goa with load😂😂😂 As long as we are careful, even ground clearance is not an issue
Indian consumer is not very mechnically savvy as yet hence many dont realise the quality difference between a japnese car and the garbage being sold by Tata/Mahindra. I have owned almost all major Indian brands and Honda+Toyota and learnt the lesson tough way. There are many like me who are fooled by the shiny tata/mahindra cars and excessive features, only to regret later. A car has multiple thousand moving parts which have to work in unison. Any mistiming/misalignment in one part can cause catastrophic failure. Making a high quality/dependable car like Toyota or Honda takes decades of obsession with quality engineering. Unfortunately both Tata/Mahindra still work like PSU companies with poor quality controls. With delhi imposing excessive import duties on imported parts many manufactures like GM/FORD have had to leave India. This has left Indian consumer to the mercy of tatas/birlas of the world.

In this regard this is better than EV, it doesn't need external electricity for charging, So, it is more environment friendly than EVs and much more environment friendly than pure petrol/diesel cars.
@@shankarnamalafinally someone who did his homework. I worked out the math. City hybrid will cost more for a 3,00,000 km usage. It will never break even especially due to 7 lakh ₹ difference and 5 lakh ₹ for battery replacement every 1,60,000 kms. My Honda Diesel is 6 Yr old and clocked 2,80,000 kms. Its cost per km is around 5/km. Hybrid will cost 9/km.
They should have given wireless Android auto and ventilated seats just to stay with competition and for its price point

Dont say about contribution to society. One electric car pollution/emission - 20 gasoline car emission.

Ev also not contributing to society.. huge population in generation of electricity as well... So doesn't make any sense

Why?
not worth the value, bcz if it comes for 17 to 18 lakhs on road, than this would be the best car, for its price its not a good offering..
