This is the main issue in this team. Actually, Issues. 1. Variety. Green mentioned this last summer before the 23-24 begins, that what they lack is Variety. They have so many players that are similar, in similar positions. You would need different combinations, different match up. 2. Misconception of Dept. I mean, would you rather have 12 man rotation full of good similar players fighting for minutes, or 3 solid main guys and 4 rotational playoff level vets? The last 2 champions just have a 7 to 8 man rotation that is very solid. Being able to afford Porzingis as you no 5 guy, thats dept! You have a 6 10 sharp shooter Porter Jr. as your 5th guy, and you still have Bruce Brown and Jeff Green, thats dept. 3. Ancient concept of small ball. In this day of positionless basketball, a lot of teams use small ball, skill-wise. Wemby can bring down the ball. Tatum, 6 9 playing the 4 bit have guard skill. How about Luka? You dont have to be literaly small these days to play the small ball (Euro-type) basketball.
I expect a rejuvenated Steph and Buddy Hield and De'Anthony Melton to have the best season of their careers, the x factors are can Draymond figure out how to keep his composure and will Wiggs regain his form....If those things happen, I can see us being a 5/6 seed....
Shardal trying to interrupt every second was very cringe, it was a hard listen. I hate missing Cyrus live but that shardal guy was unbearable to listen to. I hope I never have to listen to him again.
Moses wasn't getting more minutes because we had Klay, it was an awkward situation...

I am liking the trade less and less… I’d give pods and one unprotected pick next year and a protected pick 3 years from now. Maybe throw in GP2 or Moody (hate trading him).. I wish Moody had gotten the minutes his draft position dictate. Kerr has screwed up…. Brown for Wiggs in a heart beat.
if moses moody gets 20+ minutes he will break out nxt szn but thts if kerr plays and uses him he dhould b the front runner to play the 2 nxt to steph he has all the length snd more size than bp nd yes he csn make the simple pass thtz all you need you dont need 2-3 pgs on the floor at once and he hits big shots he got grenades all last szn cs hes an afterthought in the offense i think he would break out if kerr finally brings him out the doghouse

All star potential? Look at the guards in the west. How does he become an all star? Edwards, Dillingham, Gilgas Alexander, Caruso, Jalen Green,Monk,Fox, Murray, Morant, K. Porter Jr, Russell, and thats not even counting new guys besides Dillingham and the guys coming the next few years that are already better.

He was 2nd in rookie +/- only to Chet, who fyi was on the 1st seed while Podz was on the 10th seed. Podz was 2nd in 10/5/5 games to only Wemby, AND he lead the league in charges drawn. So abso-freakin-lutely, he's better than the guys I mentioned above.
@@WorriedWombat you missed my point. The point isn’t can they be all stars. The point is, how can Podz when he isn’t even as good as those guys and they are all in the same conference. They are all better out the gate and most have more upside. That’s not to even mention the older guys still dominating at his positions or the next crop of guys coming in. Cough cough Cooper Flag. He isn’t all star material in the next 5 years and after that, who knows. What we do know is that Steph can’t wait for these guys to develope and he won’t be that guy anymore if even in the league when they might develope. Also, man, idk what to tell you if you think Podz is better than those guys today. He was a good rookie but we gotta stop with the hype and look at the reality of today. Not future projections. Not what may happen if. Today!

What about Devonte graham who’s a free agent. He’s electric but they have to make a trade to release more money. They can offer him a vet minimum.
Moody is more of a forward. He is great off the ball and will provide Klay like spacing.
And more importantly a legit wing defender that can guard 1 - 3

This Pod is becoming unalienable. You guys are ;just haters. If either of you knew as much as you claim about basketball you' d be making a whole lot more money coaching instead of sitting around spouting total BS. I hove zero doubt that the Dubs will be/finish better this season. Just for starters is the addition by subtraction of Klay who blew at least a half dozen games with a combination of selfish play and bone head mistakes in crunch time. JK, Podz & TJD will all be incrementally better. Outside of possibly the rookies, I don't see anyone on the roster who's not playable. Next consider the 4 or 5 more wins without the Draymond suspension. On top of that, the loss of PG13 will drop the Clips below the Warriors in the final standings.
what does one somewhat worse clippers team being a lower seed vs. the warriors have to do with them matching up against an otherwise stacked western conference?
No Krueg... Kuminga is a true Wing forward... Not a 4... he's better suited as a wing defender and 'can' score at all three levels.
Moody is a bust inconsistent jumper. Moses play didn't demand he be on the court. KUMINGA can't dribble in traffic, is temperamental, inconsistent jumper. His potential is based on 4 pts. 2 explosive Dunks per game. PODZ way to many turnovers erratic but can't be an all-star guard in the west. To many elite guards Jah, Fox, Murray, SGA, Booker, Kyrie Anthony Edwards etc. He's not better than them... Lauri is Young too, he's 7ft, shoots 40% from 3pts grabs 9 rebounds... He's already an All-Star not potentially.. He's the future just as much as KUMINGA Podz Moody. He's young too 27 and can play 8-9 yrs. Bird in the hand is worth more than 3 in the bush. The bush is potential Lauri is proven. Will only get better. Team as is a playin team maybe 8th seed and 1st round exit... MAKE THE TRADE....
