This monastery was a Franciscan Friary and yes possibly an orphanage as well. That statue outside is of St Anthony of Padua holding the child Jesus. Hi Guys, another very beautiful abandoned location. The video really did bring it to life but in a new way, thank you for sharing this stunning historic location with us, much love. xx 🙏💖
It seems as though the nave was repainted in a more contemporary style, and it seems anachronistic against the architectural details of the building. 6:13 // Depiction of a young Tobias and the apparition of the archangel (possibly) Raphael. 6:20 // Likely archangel Gabriel (of water and of the West) raining consolation unto the damned. Most likely not a depiction of a saint, though perhaps St. Justa, who was martyred along with her sister for refusing to adorn the feast of Adon and Venus with their pottery (AD 287). 6:32 // Perhaps an allegory of the chaining to evil (the demon, the devil) those in power are liable to. The pan is a pagan symbol used to portray demonic/evil elements, debauchery, etc.. With an angel looking away in horror.
Wow beautiful building. The architecture is awesome and the surviving paintings stunning. Sad story tho. Pitty the current owner doesnt care tho and the wrong people visit it. Great explore guys. I was hoping to travel to the UK and EU this year but with CV-19 its unlikely 😔. Stay safe guys ❤

My father and I are both Australian-born but his father (my grandfather) was Italian born and raised--I heard his family owned a farm in Northern Italy before he migrated here. It's really interesting to have any sort of insight on what things would have looked like back then (in reference to the whole Italy series)!

I know in America some tunnels were closed off for many reasons. Flooding, disease, so people can't get to certain areas, old bunkers. I want down in a bunker that was closed off from the rest of the town because of flooding. I guess you use be able walk under most of the town when the war was going on.
Very impressive vlog...Thank you Dudes for your big effort to share what valuable things from the Past. As Eastern people. Just wonder How good the ancient Architecture works, art, passion and how much cost to Build such Beautiful Monastery. The religious site, like the Monastery left for decay. Because younger generation might be they look religion don't mean much for them to face today life and matters. Building how Great it was just a n Object, without man is useless. We are in Indonesia lucky enough don't had such a Great Architectures Religious building left in empty... Warm Regards from 360 Sunshine days Country in Equator.
I appreciate the camera work as well as the narration. The paintings in the chapel were so vivid. I'm glad you took your time showing them. So many explorers want to be on camera all the time and often show toilets. Lol. That's not what I want to see! It's very well done video, music and all.
This one almost hurt. Imagine living a day there and looking up at the big, blue sky (near the well). Man built that and now it’s disappearing with time. Thanks, Team BWT ✌🏻
I've been there before since 2019 with my buddies, it was my first paranormal investigation, the moment I walk inside i can hear a footsteps at the staircases and bang sound in every room and even a children's laughing too 😱
But this includes sleeping somewhere like a hobo, eat a lot of kebab and explore from sunrise to sunset. Well, now that I said it - it doesn't sound too bad.. :D

Bon voyage, bonne chance, et voyagez toujours en toute sécurité, mes amis.
It's not difficult to imagine all the abuse and suffering inflicted to those unfortunate boys, as it happens in all Catholic places dealing with vulnerable children.
MCMLVI=1956 on the floor. I wonder what happened that year ? The renovation year ? I saw chisel marks on the wall of the tunnel so it was dug by hand. The courtyard is otherworldly. Thanks BWT, fabulous
schön wenn man dieses Jahr fast die selbe Tour gemacht hat und man durch eure Videos die Bilder dann nochmal aus einer anderen Sichtweise erleben kann.
I would agree with a previous commenter that some of the paintings are archangels. The one with the shield is Michael the Archangel for sure. The strange one with the man in a suit with the chain with a demon could represent the 7 sins. I would have to look at it closer but there may be examples of each sin in the entire mural. (They are typically ordered as: pride, greed, lust, envy, gluttony, wrath, and sloth)

Stunning video, adore the architecture and how nature is gradually taking this place back.
I really hope they can stay untouched.
Can't wait to get out and start urbex exploring again....
Amazing find guys, looking forward to the next video
Thanks guys! Another awesome video. Love the Swallows giving the place life again 👍
My father and I are both Australian-born but his father (my grandfather) was Italian born and raised--I heard his family owned a farm in Northern Italy before he migrated here. It's really interesting to have any sort of insight on what things would have looked like back then (in reference to the whole Italy series)!
Interesting, thanks for sharing! There is something about the past that fascinates humans.
Again a beautiful video, thank you❤️
What a beautiful building, ........fantastic location.....very interesting.
Keep up the good work!
Really admire your work. Beautiful narration. Respectful attitude. Greetings from Düsseldorf 👋🏻😃
Brilliant video. You guys lead an exciting life. Well Done! X
25 minutes was so quickkk. We need a longer Exploration. And looking forward to Franceeeee Episodes! Au revoir!
Then our days need more than 24 hours ;D
I am only about 2 months late but just Excellent guys! SuperB! I sure hope the town is able to save it of what remains... I would even donate to crowdfunding! This is on my wishlist to visit now! Cannot wait for summer! Happy days.
Those underground tunnels that 'go all over the city' give me the willies. Those poor children.
Nothing neferious about those tunnels. They were made as a hiding spot and exit period during war.
@@silverhawkscape2677 , they may have been a conception of integrity. Still, people will do what people always do
@@kittynimitz7149 And proof?
Really, I'd rather not think of the individual incidents to know that people do rather vile things to others. Victims' accounts have broken my heart; poor things!
Thank you for what you do! Please always be careful! Beautiful Church.
Amazing!!! I sure hope the crowd funding works, it's too precious to let go. Thanks guys!
We do too!
I don't know you deal with all the spiders! That big one coming out of that hole gives me eeebbbgggbbbbeeeez! The chapel is breath taking. I do hope they salvage this place. Thank you for sharing it. Be safe n well. GB I love how he shaved his head for breakfast! Lol.
The lens made it look bigger than it was :D But if you're roaming around abandoned places you get used to them. It's their home, not ours.
@@BrokenWindowTheoryUrbex an that my friend is why I watch Your channel!🙃😉
And me, greetings from Poland (:
Good luck in the development of the channel.
The cinematography of this video was chefs kiss
As a believer, I am grateful for the respect you show to what were once sacred spaces.
I know in America some tunnels were closed off for many reasons. Flooding, disease, so people can't get to certain areas, old bunkers. I want down in a bunker that was closed off from the rest of the town because of flooding. I guess you use be able walk under most of the town when the war was going on.
Well done. And the accompanying music is good, too.
The guy who narrates has got his way with words💗
Beautiful architecture and design, awful energy that needs to finish going back to the earth.
You will love the architecture and what we have found!
Energies that should nt be there if not for satanists and an abusive ophanages
Very impressive vlog...Thank you Dudes for your big effort to share what valuable things from the Past. As Eastern people. Just wonder How good the ancient Architecture works, art, passion and how much cost to Build such Beautiful Monastery. The religious site, like the Monastery left for decay. Because younger generation might be they look religion don't mean much for them to face today life and matters. Building how Great it was just a n Object, without man is useless. We are in Indonesia lucky enough don't had such a Great Architectures Religious building left in empty... Warm Regards from 360 Sunshine days Country in Equator.
Beautifully captured ! Thank you
Siempre me sorprenden con sus videos un trabajo impecable, saludos!!!!
So Beautiful! I thank you so much for sharing! The video was amazing, the fate of the orphans is upsetting.
Beautiful and heartbreaking Thank Y’all ☮️🐝safe
Magnificent, as always. My thank you.
Poor boys, I can only imagine what their life was life and what they were subjected to by those in control of them.
We heard only rumors but at least not everything was bad. They also had good times!
Beautiful video and very well done. Thank you
Thanks, what was your favorite part? :)
Hurt in a good way we hope :D Thanks for watching and see you in the next episode!
Beautiful place, can only imagine how it's when is been taking care of.
I've been there before since 2019 with my buddies, it was my first paranormal investigation, the moment I walk inside i can hear a footsteps at the staircases and bang sound in every room and even a children's laughing too 😱
Was it in the night?
@@BrokenWindowTheoryUrbex yes it's was midnight monday
Would be great to spend a week exploring with you guys!
But this includes sleeping somewhere like a hobo, eat a lot of kebab and explore from sunrise to sunset. Well, now that I said it - it doesn't sound too bad.. :D
@@BrokenWindowTheoryUrbex Sounds good.
I hope they save it that is beautiful place and exorcise it all and bring back it's original purpose. Was lovely to watch thankyou
Awesome as always, thanks for what your team creates, full time 🌹 😎
You are very welcome. Enjoy today's episode!
Unbelievable video. Fantastic.
Thanks for watching!
As always, this video shows us magnificence, even in the midst of decay and some neglect, that we would otherwise never view. I found myself suddenly flooded with feelings of gratitude for your artistry and dedication, and I look forward to touring the land of my mother's ancestors with you. Bon voyage, bonne chance, et voyagez toujours en toute sécurité, mes amis.
Beautiful location. Great video too enjoyed watching it.
Que lugar interessante. Obrigada pela legenda em português. Auxilia bastante entender melhor a história.
wieder ein richtig gutes Video mit klasse Aufnahmen und eine echt schöne Location :-)
I just found your channel and I'm hooked, I just subscribed
Hi there, great to have you!
Thank-you guys another GREAT explore!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I love History appreciate your work 🇮🇳🇮🇳🇮🇳
Then our channel is the right thing to binge watch in case you're quarantined ;D
Trabalho de alta qualidade! Parabéns meninos!
Obrigado!
I am totally mesmerized by all your videos.
It's not difficult to imagine all the abuse and suffering inflicted to those unfortunate boys, as it happens in all Catholic places dealing with vulnerable children.
Love the behind scenes insertion!
So you like trashed cars and pen&paper? :D
@@BrokenWindowTheoryUrbex Sure, its cool to see things you do off the places and camera, plus D&D is dope!
MCMLVI=1956 on the floor. I wonder what happened that year ? The renovation year ? I saw chisel marks on the wall of the tunnel so it was dug by hand. The courtyard is otherworldly. Thanks
BWT, fabulous
schön wenn man dieses Jahr fast die selbe Tour gemacht hat und man durch eure Videos die Bilder dann nochmal aus einer anderen Sichtweise erleben kann.
Omg what a amazing location and again sick photos Toby and lovey editing bwt ❤️❤️could I as for the name you use for the end and beginning of your videos
Thanks buddy! :)
