I have been play ark since it first came to steam for early access and over the many years have watched many how to videos to get multiple things and understand the breeding process and you by FAR have explained it the easiest and best thank you very much
This thing will 100% be nerfed for ASA if its being dropped day one, at least for the inf weight vault ability. Reminds me a lot of when we'd put chairs on the back of a platformed quetzal and slot cap members on metal runs, since the player was sitting in the chair theyre personal weight didnt count towards the quetzal. This was patched within a month of people finding it out.
The bug has already been nerfed twice, but you might be right. Exo meks can do the same thing, but they can't fly, so we will see. Either way, the rhynio still has a much better weight stat, speed, and mobility compared to the quetz, so it will be our farming flier.
I might have missed it but having just raised mine from a Bronto, I'd like to add that it's a good idea to have some healing Daeodons and if you use a herbi, veggie cakes... and start with a full health dino. The food & gradual HP loss of the host dino might change based on gestation settings or some such, I'm unsure, but a lot of people (including myself) had to really struggle to keep the host alive. My bronto's food dropped to 0 and its health dropped so fast even with veggie cakes & constant force-feeding that she definitely would've died maybe halfway through, instead of reaching 0 at the end.
@@Doth_ That's why I'm suspecting gestation settings. There have been a few ppl reporting losing multiple (3/5 in one case) impregnated dinos, but I assume it won't be an issue on Official at least
@@chvIrySo a different issue can also cause it to be lost on Official? God, I can't even imagine taking all that time with Official settings just to lose it D:
I'm a solo arker and this will be very helpful. My biggest issue right now as a PS5 player is that the game dropped at the start of my 3 18 hours shifts lol
I finally got around to testing your claim. They both seemed to respawn the first time i killed them but then i could only get one of them to spawn continuously after that. The one that respawned was always level 10. Thanks for the tip!
Man I'm just playing on a server with my friends, honestly screw the getting a perfect or good one, if this thing can ignore weight for farming it just turned into my #1 priority.
the thing is you dont even need an overpowered one off rip. having a shit rhynio is still useful for farming and contesting other rhynios from being tamed, not to mention defending. Health and weight is honestly all you'd probably need.
Are you sure is 50/50 for the inherited stat? You mention it is like breeding you dino with the Rhynio. But there is 55% change to inherit the higher stat of the two.
Its a shame. My tribe is farming metal on dunkleos and unloading it into a vault on the shore, then have the rhynio carry it back to base when its full. Rhynio fly at full speed while carrying vaults still Idk if its the best method on normal rates but with the boosted server rates it seems to be the best
Is the quality hoster factor work with tek Rex ? I assume it doesn't work since they don't share level similarities, i was thinking about taking a perfect stat Rex with 50 points in each stats
It would take forever to get to those crazy stats anyway. Mutating brontos will be the fastest way to get better rhynios since their breeding time is 1/3 a gigas/carchas.
I tested it and "T" only works with 1 slot, I wanted to know which one works the same on the controller when you press R3 and get everything@@Stonedanteater
I wonder how much is possibly still RNG with the odds of stat transfer, cuz even with best host tame, max level female, and all cravings met, still left with terrible stat transfer from highly mutated giga/carchas
Yeah a factor could be a giga/carch only has good points in melee. Rest are ass (learned this myself lol) Brontos are the best most definitely, as they have a good spread of stats such as hp, stam, melee, weight & oxygen
@Doth_ ik for ase it's 900, as we just spent the past 4months abusing gen2 "mating interval" buff breeding up some crazy ass brontos for these things haha. I used a mutated giga line first, melee was insane...stam, utter ass 😩🤣🤣🤣
Yeah but what’s the stats on your sacrificed tame lol? I actually know the legit way to tame these but I refuse to post online lol 😆 once ASA starts I’ll teach my tribe how it’s actually done …multiple times same tame… no traps…. 👑
My best Rhynio on pc Official 1x was a lvl 376 and it was perfect cravings and came out as 1300% melee with 50k HP but awful stamina as I used a giga lol my second best was a lvl 240 Rhynio with 900% melee and 45k hp and 800stam lol I missed one craving on that one and I used a Rex that time lol
@cjlarge420 you're missing the point of the video, which is impressive since it's in the title. You're not going to have fully mutated tames that you bought off Facebook on brand new servers. The stats on your tames well be at the mercy of rng. Your claim of impregnating the same tame multiple times sounds bs, but if you found a bug, it would be sick if you could share it with us all.
Why hold out the other dinos, but let this bug into the mix ? The Island as the only map 😂 Why ? They could have added an ascension cave to Ragnarok and used that as a starter map. ARK ascended is going to suck. Maybe nerd nuts over there can type up an equation to explain all that 😂
Thank you for this. I was looking for an in-depth explanation on how the rynionatha work. Very well put together excited for ASA.
very helpful and concise! I got a feeling your channel is going to blow up with the release of ASA
One of the only “understandable” tutorials I’ve seen, but beyond that it makes this seem actually doable. Thank you sir. Subbed.

It will be nerfed but not on release. Wildcard will be too focused on making sure the core of the game works rather than balance changes.

Unless the game is bugged your tame wont die early. The food always drops to 0 and it loses percentage health so it wont die till the very end.

Good video man, keep up the good work 👍🏻
in asa ive found, that the rhynio spawn works like the giga spawn on center, once one is killed it will force spawn another
I finally got around to testing your claim. They both seemed to respawn the first time i killed them but then i could only get one of them to spawn continuously after that. The one that respawned was always level 10. Thanks for the tip!

You right. I always thought it was 50/50 so thanks. It does say its 55% for the better stat on the breeding wiki page.

Seems like it has the same drag weight as a normal rex so that should be good to use
Thats a good tutorial to get a good rynio but have bad news to u, the breed mechanics has been change in ASA, so no more wild crasy stats!!
It would take forever to get to those crazy stats anyway. Mutating brontos will be the fastest way to get better rhynios since their breeding time is 1/3 a gigas/carchas.
@@Doth_ i would do a freaking dodo breeding to max and then use it to hatch a rhynio ajahahahahahhahahahahahahhahaha

Hi thx u for ur video can u make videos for best way to farming itme to summon boss
are all the babies male?
ive never tamed a rhynio b4 but can u not unclaim a high level female one thats on aggressive so it can impregnate ur tame?
How long does it take to raise from baby to adult?
As long as a giga, but it's already raised 30% when it pops out of the tamed dino. So i think it's like 8 days 12 hours
Does anyone know if the level of your impregnated dino matter or only the carry weight. like a lvl 5 paracer vs a lvl 140. Is there no difference or?
The baby rhynio inherits the stats of your impregnated dino, so if your stats are garbage, then the baby rhynio stats will be garbage
Hmm - on a single player game (have the gestation etc higher than normal) if you can't do the care options will it just always be a shit tame?
How do you breed them once you tame some
You cant
What about Element Dust for early Element? Not sure if the recipe will be unlocked or not since it was originally an Extinction recipe...
Probably wont due to it being an extinction recipe, definitely will be needing to fight bosses asap for element
No Tek Dino’s on release wildcard said, so not possible
What dust.....
I know this is out there but what score does a mammoth have? Because I breed those lol
Why in never get the pheromone… I killed 6-7 males and don’t get anything

7:22 ngl I laughed at that LOL
You need a Pheromone of each Dino right, even if its the same Rhynio mother.
Yes, every dino you impregnate needs to consume a pharamone
If you leave it in a trap then leave area will it glitch though trap like wyvern?
Im not sure how it worked on official but i dont think so. Also, the answer is probably going to be different since it's a whole new engine on asa
Wont diplos be bad because you can inherit 0 melee?
Wait do diplos not have wild levels in melee? Might be a good thing considering you won't be leveling melee im pvp. Just health and stam
