One of my favorite play features comes from 2018’s Sanctum Sanctorum! The time stone is hidden behind a bookcase, but is visible through a window. Flicking a lever will throw out the window to get access to the stone!
EXCELLENT WORK. SPITBRIX LEGO PLAY FEATURE.
Harry potter set Number 4 privet drive has a feature where with the pull of a lever letters fly out of the chimney and using the chain in the back of the flighting ford you can pull the barred window off Harry's room just like in the films and books.
I recall having a Lego Life on Mars set with a sort of pump/bellows setup that you could use to blow mini-figures down a tube to transport them between different sections of the Martian base. Fun idea, though I think they'd get stuck half way down the tube a lot of the time.
Ya gotta admire Lego designers’ commitment to make stories very clear in their sets. These details are often the cherry on top of an already amazing set! 👍
And you know what's the nice thing? Lego is actively working on replacing their designers with AI right now. They are already phasing out people as we speak. Pretty cool how much you can achieve without people these days.

The Lego Movie 2 set, 70839 - Sweet Mayhem's Systar Starship! comes with 2 rolls of stickers. Not stickers to put on Lego pieces, actual stickers - like the ones Mayhem fires at the heroes in the movie. One roll sits in the back of her starship and feeds out through a gap in the bricks, turning the set into a sticker dispenser. An unusual play feature for a Lego set, in my opinion...
That's pretty cool actually
I remember the Bionicle Bohrok sets came in plastic pods. There was a special piece that could be used to suspend the creature inside, and the sticker on the packaging could be easily peeled away to see what was inside.
The best part was that this referenced the hives. If you wake one, you wake them all...
(Really, Spitbrix could do a whole video on BIONICLE packaging play features.)
I always enjoyed the feature from the minecraft trading post, where you flip the table to show the wandering traders' trade options
It was simple but effective
I mostly like mixels stuff, i think some of the coolest play features they have beyond just combining are:
-Klinkers max gear operated arms
-Infernites 2015 flame breath being on some kind of sliding track
-Glowkies glow in the dark eyes
-Munchos Max can eat Nixels
-Mixadel/Medivals max catapult jaw
-Trashoz Max brush gimmick and huge jaw
Oh and the pirate mixels being able to hide treasure somewhere
6:03 That is one of the sets I keep in my display cabinet. It's absolutely display-worthy. The colors are very nice to look at!

I actually just finished rebuilding my HERO FACTORY Dropship a few days ago, I'm happy to see it referenced here!
It's still missing 5 small parts but they'll show up eventually, in the meantime I was able to get it fully rebuilt and working again with a few stand in parts.
The most interesting stand in has to be using a scrunchie in place of the original rubber bands, oddly enough the scrunchie actually works a bit better!
The power miners crystal sweeper I always loved the most as a kids, probably may favourite lego set of all time, and it made it easier to clean up lego on the floor
One of the best play features was the lone ranger mine, it had a wall which could be blown up with diynamit. There was a lever you could pull but nothing happens, only if you put the dinymit in the hole and pulls the lever, the wall "exploded"
I haven't played with LEGO in many years, but this channel is making me want to get back into it. I found a liking for 3D puzzles recently, and, well... LEGO is basically the premier brand of 3D puzzles. So yeah, why not?
I remember getting 9450 for Christmas!! It's probably my favorite Lego set I've ever gotten & I'd love to rebuild it all. Such a cool set!!
Another good video I always find myself struggling with the more expensive Lego sets then the cheaper ones, but I know they put more detail to the ones that or more expensive

I had that Snape, I sometimes wish I didn’t get rid of them because I had all the first year. I always thought Snape glowing was odd.
There is a brown frog atop that pile of dino doo-doo as well. Lego and thier damn frogs!
It’s a simple one, but I love the tail on the dreamzzz crocodile car! It’s just really fun to whip back and forth and I haven’t seen any other lego tails like it
fun fact: roboriders also had a unique play feature thath when combining them you can use the top of the canester for wheels or a shield
and in the toa nuva from bionicle you could put a gear in the gear function so posing the figure is alot easier
Somehow, legos affinity for frog pieces makes the most sense in a jurassic park/world set 8:34

My favourite play feature is in the set hive crawler. The main build has two of them.
"Alright toy companies what is your special play set features?"

lego set 21247 or The Axolotl House in the yellow coral in the front in the instruction front it looks like there is no jumper plate but when its done there is one (its beside the dolphin in the front of the instruction)plssss answer

Can you mention that in the lego retro camera the alternative build the camcorder in the instructions the lens has a disk in it but in the pictures they don t have a disc
I'm not sure whether this play feature was introduced in this channel's any other video, but I love the gimmick in "The Batcave" Lego set (6860) which instantly swaps Bruce Wayne minifigure with Batman minifigure.
(Unfortunately, I wasn't familiar with DC super heroes back then, so I don't own that set.)
I think one of the most interesting play features is the fact that there is DND one shot module for the the Lego DND set that recently was released. Not only that, but you don’t even need a DND battle map as the set itself is the map in which the adventure takes place. The lego set becomes part of the game which I find really cool!
I I have found a mistake in the Lego set 42179 pages 19 to 22 are missing
Lego Harry Potter the burrow has a cool flu powder play feature
I am happy Hidden Side is not forgotten. It had great potential, but was ruined by Lego's greed and targeted at smaller children to pressure them to get the rather gimmicky App.

the monster fighters one gave me nostalgia from a scooby doo lego mansion set with a spicky ball in the front door and a rotating changing booth on top
Some of my favourite play features are from Minecraft sets, there’s a trapdoor like th castle set in the jungle treehouse, but my favourite is in the largest set, the mountain cave where there’s obviously the minecart track with an elevator, but there’s a light brick which can be inserted in different spots in the build to illuminate parts like torches, lava, and more.

I know a feature in a Lego set. In the set 60367 when you get so far in there is a camera build where you have a camera piece a round 1 by 1 and a pan on the end.
