One of my favorite hidden "secrets" in a Lego set is the Titanic set. You build the 2 large piston engines, but you also build the 3rd turbine engine only to cover over it and never see it again
I remember when I built the full sized version of the Lego Sydney Opera House I couldn’t resist but to hide a weeping angel in the staircase leading up to the main entrance. I figured one day someone else would eventually pull this thing apart and would get us a surprise.
The fact that the pink bricks were hidden all over star wars sets just so the designers could be promised cake has got to be the most danish thing Ive heard in a while.
I always found the usage of multi-colored bricks inside the more complicated builds to be a way for LEGO to include more variety in people's brick collections, if they ever choose to dismantle a set and build something else
1:08 i heard somewhere that was because one of the designers had his favourite shoes ruined by a big piece of gum in a london bus and so the designer wanted to make sure people knew London buses wasn't perfectly clean
The Office Lego set has over 60 references in Easter eggs but my personal favourite is a hidden poop that Todd Packer leaves under Michael Scott's desk in season 2 episode 14.
The Modular Buildings line as a whole have hidden, mice/rats, mouse traps, and yellow "cheese" wedges, indicating that "LEGOville", has a rodent problem.
I feel like I keep mentioning the Maersk Triple-E container ship, but this one also has a brilliant Easter Egg: a golden coin hidden below the mast on the foredeck. This is a clear reference to the age-old custom of shipwrights placing a coin below the main mast for good luck.
3:00 ... they should go one step further and make the Hering green. (As in old black and white filming the color red didn't translate well and looked odd - so they used green. For example for lipstick and shoes and stuff - because the green object in b/w looked more red.)
The photo you showed of Henrik Andersen is not the LEGO Star Wars designer. Henrik, whom I’ve met, is bald and wears glasses. The photo you showed is of Henrik Andersen a front end engineer at LEGO.
I ordered one of those personalized minifigs from LEGO a few years ago when they were offering those the first time before they stopped making them for a long time. Mine came with a white 1x3 brick with a unique code of letters and numbers, but also a tiny QR code. I scanned it and was sent to some random website that wasn’t at all affiliated with LEGO. It was strange, lol
I knew the Red Herring one from Monkey Island of all things... in MI 1 a Troll guards a bridge and only lets You pass when You bring him something "that looks important but isn't". The answer is that You cook him a red herring. One of the things i had to look up playing the game because of english not being my native tongue
There's probably some symbolism there. The Troll is supposed to be George Lucas, it's like saying he takes useless but interesting things and "makes a meal" out of them. Considering he was their boss it's probably not serious though.
I bought a second-hand Lego Minecraft set (not The End) today and it had that printed brick in it. I had no idea what it was! Thank you for solving that riddle for me :)
I know someone who works as a bank teller and apparently they do occasionally wash paper money in washing machines before sending them back out in circulation
The 2024 LEGO Minecraft set "The Turtle Beach House" has twice as many pink bricks as one would think from the images. Two are for the pink bed but two more, a 2×4 brick and jumper, are made into a block and placed inside of the house's BRICK built HEAD. It's even on a jumper which is normally reserved for blocks your intended to remove like ores. Sidenote: how is the Turtle Warrior supposed to defend the turtle eggs and babies without a weapon? It's a good thing there's a spare trident. It also comes with a spare baby turtle so you can build four or use the shell as a scute if you want.
Yo SpitBrix! Like all the other comments you'll probably see, just here to say your content is sooo cool. I came across you a while ago and then randomly stopped. Recently I just found your channel again, and have been really enjoying the quality of your videos, so thanks and keep it up!
The Lego Koenigsegg Jesko Speed Champions set has a swedish flag built on the inside that you cant see unless you built it, Keonigsegg is a swedish vehicle company so it makes sense
The Daytona SP3 set also has a piece with a unique print like The End Battle set. It's a 1x4 tile with a unique number on it. It's hidden away under the front hood, but it's a cool little easter egg
It’s always fun to have to the strangest colors in Lego sets, but after the build you won’t notice them anymore. Builders only. The elevators and stairs in the Empire State Building are also a nice hidden feature.
Here’s a fun theory, I had to figure out on my own! Going back to the Portal 2 Level pack, you’d be forgiven if playing the game, and learning the the sentry turret is not only a friendly turret, but also unable to shoot anything, at first. The reason? It’s most likely the Prophet Turret, from the second game!
Dżens Woznica doesn't sound like polish at all. You probably meant Jan (as subtittles say) Woźnica? It's approximated pronunciation in english is [yahn vozynitsa] ("ts" as in "kats" or "c" without h in ch, leaving only "soft c" - like s & sh being counterparts to c & ch)

I exclusively build BatMan Lego and they regularly hide multi colour pieces, otherwise the bags would be mainly full of black pieces, pretty boring I suppose.
While assembling the McLaren F1 Senna Tribute set, it has you put the colors of the Brazil (where Ayrton Senna was from) flag together under one of the side pods (I think).
I actually have that Lego dobby set and I have built it and I have the Lego WALL·E and eve set and the toolbox in WALL·E’s hand are supposed to represent his cooler that he uses as a backpack

It can also help if you're not sure which step you're on.
1:08 i heard somewhere that was because one of the designers had his favourite shoes ruined by a big piece of gum in a london bus and so the designer wanted to make sure people knew London buses wasn't perfectly clean

“Red herring” and “crocodile tears” are legendary lol
The Red Herring one is quite clever. I’ve known the term from a fairly young age, and I’m surprised that it’s not that well known.
It's a very well known term he's just being weird
