    This is super useful! I was looking for something that connected with the actual experience of day-to-day Japan. Personally I really like the announcements. Maybe I am a "anaunsu-tetsu" or announcement otaku.

    Thank you for such a detailed video but can you consider making another video for the announcement (male voice) which usually happen when the train reach the station early and have to stay in the station a little longer before they move onto the next station. There is no English announcement after the Japanese announcement. I believe it is announced both at the station and in the train.

    Do they say "odeguchi" or something else? I always hear sth like "orenchi", not "odeguchi", and at the beginning of the video it's like that too...

    • @NNtoxic
      @NNtoxic 7 місяців тому

      I was searching for this comment. I also hear "Orenji". Why is it happening? Does anyone listen Odeguchi?

    • @kc3302
      @kc3302 6 місяців тому

      You're not the only one to think that. The way "odeguchi" is pronounced often makes it sound something like "orenchi" or similar, but they *are* saying "odeguchi"

    • @kc3302
      @kc3302 6 місяців тому

      @@NNtoxic It's the way they say it. You are correct in what you are hearing, but they are actually saying "odeguchi", just in a difficult to understand way! Similarly for "tsugi wa" which often sounds like "bag-eewa"

    Ninjapanese sensei, is shihatsu refers to originating station only. Or this word works in all station? Tatoeba Kinshicho eki.

    • @Ninjapanese
      @Ninjapanese  Рік тому

      Shihatsu has 2 meanings.
      ❶ The first train of the day
      It works all stations
      (始発 /しはつ)
      ❷ The train starts from ~~ station
      It works
      (当駅始発/とうえきしはつ)
      It only works the stations that a train starts from. It can be morning, afternoon or night. If the train is とうえきしはつ then no one is sitting so it usually easy for u to take a seat.
