Well, I have to ask: Am I the only one getting errors with Hik-Pro? Created site just for the test but I`m not allowed to delete it. Seems like bug because I`ve tried another one and got no problem. While testing sending the invitations for permissions it returns errors and no invitation is received (by me as I said I`m testing). Checking the log there is error "exceeded limit of invitations" which is strange. It turns out if there is problem with the app and you will be locked out of sending invitations just because you`ve tried too many times. And that`s just for 10 min testing :)
if you added a site , did you assign the owner? If so please login as that user on HIK-Connect app and under settings , and sites , delete the site from app , then in pro connect you can delete the site itself , see if that works

Really wish there was a way of accessing the cameras IP via Hik Pro to make adjustments like WDR/HLC or Special features like ColurVu or camera that have flashing light/alarm

@@JAMESJAMES26000 it does allow fast forward , have you updated the app and the end device as most latest firmware allows FF function up to x8 speed on the playback screen look for the x1 box and click it should allow drop down options, if not check app is updated and if DVR / NVR is updated to latest firmware

I installed hikpro on mobile and added my device but can not select all channels at once, its only showing single channel at a time, can any one guide me how can i select all 16 channels and view them on a single screen?
@@DVSLTD im based at papua new guinea. we are the current biggest distributor of hikvision here. so your video really helps me a lot and when i saw this hik pro connect video it gives me more idea to the technician job but my one question is: since internet is very limited here and i was planning to just check the health of the device of each of our client. is it gonna spend a lot of internet or just small amount of internet. because we are limitted im 10gb per month in our customers right now. thanks in advance if you can give me that information. because right now. me and my boss trying to move along with the hikvision technology 😁😊✌️
@@jovertjonatas6160 Hi , and thanks for the lovely comments and I hope you are well , we send our regards 😊 , the health monitoring checks the units are online and working via small packets of information so there will be a communication always trying to check , but this is very small in comparison to a video or image being looked at, I can find out size if you like?
@@DVSLTD thanks, same for you guys. really? thats good news. besically. we are not planning gonna view the video of the client but we are planning is to install it for our clients that use the ai tech. or smart nvrs. and we just want to see the health of the system and smart events. is that posible? just for extra support for our valued customers 😁✌️we are just concern about the internet usage. because most of them is currently using hik-connect and we dont want to use our clients internet for our operations and monitoring. well thats it. better to try it my self before proposing it to our clients 😁 thanks for the answer

when you share the device to the hik -connect account from pro connect to the end user, please use the end user account to login via 4200

Is it really a better option to ditch hik connect and use DDNS? Also what are the security risks, wouldn’t you have to open router ports?
I wouldn’t use DDNS now personally but the choice is yours of course, with pro connect & hik connect no port forwarding is needed by default
