Hint: I've talked about this in my 7-Figure Side Hustle video, and promised that if enough of you asked, I would go through how I did it step-by-step. So that's exactly what we're doing in today's video.
I cover the exact system I used to build over 3 million followers in 2 years, with $0 upfront cash. If it's free, it's for me. And it's a system that's so simple, anyone can do it with a bit of work.
We go back to the start at day 1 with 0 subscribers, and go through the steps from brainstorming to execution, including the 3 Cs: Curiosity, Crowd, and Cash. You need these components to not only grow, but to make a lot of money. I explain how in this video.

Codie - I have just watched your video on how to start a newsletter. I am a homeschool mom with seven kids (six homegrown, one delivered from Jesus) and I have found something I am incredibly passionate about!! I am home alone with my husband this weekend (we farmed out the five kids who still live at home with us) and we are supposed to be having a romantic "staycation" however I am on FIRE about this subject and I hope to be able to share my first newsletter with you after I get done writing it!! BTW, I know almost nothing about social media (ask any of my kids and they'll confirm this!), I am not a writer (I am a CPA by trade) and I have never attempted anything like this in my life!! YIKES!!!!

The tactics are great, but be aware of the numbers. Most viral newsletters are about business, digital marketing, etc. Things grow at slower pace in many more niches and thats’s ok. But keep at it. Consistency is everything.
Codie, you are a ROCK STAR! Your parents must be so insanely proud of you!!! Like you, I am also the daughter of Spanish immigrant parents who worked really hard to own a restaurant and a home, but otherwise, didn't get too far. I am a clinical psychologist, age 55, who would rather stop getting paid by the hour (my own practice) and would love to generate passive income. Is there any hope for someone like me who has a Ph.D. and lots of knowledge to start a newsletter, when I do not like social media or speaking in public very much? Or is this just stinkin' thinkin' on my part? I cant be the only middle-aged woman on here who finds you incredibly inspiring and would love to follow your example!!!!
Hi Maria, while I can’t speak for Codie, I can speak from my own experiences with clients and YES you absolutely have hope! You have a wealth of experience that you can use at your disposal. If you want to change industry, you can do that also. It may take you slightly longer to do so but perseverance is the key.

If you're a psychologist then you would probably be really epic at making business deals too. You can write about some many different things but the tough part is finding the right people to read it. Im sure you have tons of unique experiences you can share and also find people easily to read your content. I read a lot of newsletters and plan to start one during my 2 yrs masters program in Australia. But i have not found any good newsletter on Psychology as a subject or how you can use psychology on a daily basis for positive outcomes. Endless content making opportunities in this. Hope you kill it, Cheers :)

Credit scores are just a form of federal control, so if you want to continue living a good life? it’s important to have a high score. My house and vehicles are paid off, I have one Visa card for all purchases, which gives me air miles, and I pay it off monthly, but my score bounces between 800 and 820 without changing any of my patterns, so it’s manipulated for some reason. V made it stay at that range and getting it up

Yesss, i have the same problem..i make the same purchases each month and pay my card on the same day each month but my score keeps going up and down by 11 points, even if i do the same thing. I find ir strange
That change in score is directly related to your credit utilization rate (CUR). As the month progresses and your making more purchases, your balance goes up and so does your credit utilization rate. The next credit sweep picks this up and it’s reported on your credit so your score goes down. You pay off the balance at the end of the month which means your CUR is down which gets picked up in the next credit sweep and reflected in your credit report and your score goes back up again.

We have 19 rescue dogs and counting and saving dogs for the last decade has cost me so much (which I should have been saving for retirement). Point is, you have motivated me to get moving and find money in other ways (I work a real job in corporate america) and realize I am my only limitation. Thank you!
Can you make money saving dogs, somehow?
You can probably start a newsletter about rescuing dogs and the whole process of how a rescue dog operation works and inner mechanics of running a rescue dogs service. You can make money from the traffic you generate on your newsletter. You can expand to an individual website where you put resources for people to start their community rescue dog services. How to even raise money for such services and so on. Other people will also sponsor your newsletter content sometimes if you put their ads on your newsletter. Monetization will be easy once you generate traffic. The tough part is attracting people. I have not seen any newsletter where people talk about rescue dogs and hence i think its an amazing opportunity to start one right now. You have experience, so just share that and that should serve as a starting point. Just start and you will find tons of ways yourself to monetize. Hope you kill it, cheers.

I really like codie really do! Also great advice! But most UA-cam advertisers don't have a million but they giving you advise how to make that million! The best advise is just try a couple businesses and fall and you will see opportunities. Some will not see the opportunities and fall or give up that's life
I agree. Marketers sell the potential the not reality cause that might lessen subscriber counts. Important details are always omitted like how much being seen as an influencer may have helped Codie get on podcasts of non-friends, write for media outlets, do collabs, etc. Biz news site, Cheddar was mentioned in the shown IG post. Check her follower numbers on IG, Subs on UA-cam, etc. Also, if we’re honest some people actually pay podcasters for interviews. I’M NOT SAYING SHE DID. I’m saying it’s a thing. She said she offered content to Flippa. Was any of this content creation outsourced cause creation is time consuming? Still, it appears she put in some real hustle and it paid off. Now she can sell the newsletter, provide sponsored ad opportunities, add affiliate links, or sell the emails. Cha Ching!

Make a list of things you wanna chnage.
Start with small things before you go on an business endevor.
When ur down mentally (and maybe physically) you dont have the energy or drive to do that
So make a list of "upgrades" you wanna implement on youre self.
And trust me, if you start "upgrading" your self, in 2 weeks time videos like this wont be the only thing giving u hope and joy...
Make list eaxh day. Even on flash cards just 1 goal at a time..start crossing things off mini achievements 1 by 1

Yes! I saw go for it! You’ll definitely tap into some amazing revenue streams with affiliate marketing especially in medical cannabis. I would do your research to find the ones you like and are credible. Just make sure you have a lawyer to make sure everything is good on your end.
Sounds like a grey area referring your clients to your newsletter that you’ll be making an income from. Conflict of interest perhaps? Something to think on.

I'd really appreciate you go LIVE and talk about how to ‘safely’ earn passive income retire comfortably.
You’re actually losing more saving in a bank. To create consistent passive income after retirement, diversification is key but first, you should be aware of your goal. I mean, how fast are you looking to earn, long term, short term, dividend paying or high interest because to grow a business financial & risks are essential. This is why basic knowledge alongside experience is prominent.

Take myself, having encountered quite a number of bad trades, I realized following my current Portfolio manager, how entry, capital, exit, goal and more differ on each assets. Currently hold , I have a $122k portfolio averaging a 12% monthly roi in less than a year following Maria Teresa Tyler so I do know the importance of basic knowledge and delegation.

Yea Navy federal gave me a really high limit. I applied and was denied at first so I got a MYSTICFLIP , and I was approved for a capital one. The limit was so small lol but I took it and worked on it. Because if that it helped my credit and I believe that’s what made me finally get approved for navy fed with such a high limit. they're still working on increasing the capital one since it was so low. All in all I’m satisfied.

I drove my first car in my dad's name and later went to get a truck in mine after I paid off my first one and drove off the lot with the truck I wanted, its mostly about a good credit score and a loan portfolio helps as well...lenders like to see various forms of loans in your name to be less of a risk and yes you might have to put money down but not HALF of the car loan Your exactly right I screwed my credit as a young man now I own a detailing company and can't get anything with out the full amount of cash.
