I know I already made another comment, but this is for ALL Divers that might be watching... when you find great kids iems like in this haul, think about donating it to your local Fire houses. Oftentimes, when a family's house burns down, the firemen will give a toy or something to the kids affected. Items like you found here (especially the hygiene products) would be great for this.
The American Red Cross has free boxes to fill with toothpaste toothbrush washcloth samples...they give u the list so they are ready when disaster strikes.. THANKS TO ALL DONATERS!!😇

Great idea! Toys for tots doesn't have much because they're spread so thin.
Police officers as well! In case of domestic dispute, etc, they carry toys in their cars.

Thank you guys for helping to save our planet, and helping your community (I''m assuming when you were saying "we can donate that", you meant you are donating stuff to shelters/schools/churches, etc in your community). Thanks for the hard work you do, and for putting up with the emotional abuse by those that don't understand what you are doing is GOOD.

With is wrong with our society?? Those throws etc could have been given to a homeless shelter and the kid stuff to a women and children's shelter etc..so sick of this disposable society, where company's think it's better to throw new things in the trash instead of donating it...grr
Yes, and in some cities, homeowners can be fined for throwing aluminum cans in regular trash, yet most major retailers get away with this crap!!!

I think *most* people automatically think of homeless shelters, but NURSING HOME RESIDENTS ARE VERY OFTEN, FORGOTEN ABOUT! I volunteer to Read at two local nursing homes and They Would *Love* something like this! GOD BLESS And Sending Positive Vibes!

Also even if you didn't donate everything, and you sold it all, It would be feeding your family. So I'm happy with that too. Either way, atleast its not going to the landfill... Good find you guys. I wish I had the balls to go look in my town. I would go to jail faster than I could poke my head up out of the trash to see who's pointing a bright flashlight at me...

It's refreshing to see a video like this! Plenty of people call dumpster divers and extreme couponers hoarders. This video is a prime example of all the good people like you could and can do! I do extreme couponing with my mom and donate thousands a year in food, pet and home items to shelters a year. I'd love to start diving with my hubby to be able to give back more. It's the best feeling to give back when you can even when you don't have much yourself.

It’s really disgusting how much stuff gets thrown out. All this stuff was manufactured and transported to the store. All of which causes pollution and then it is thrown away. Sad world of waste. Glad you are keeping some of it out of the dump. 😍It’s amazing what you found. I think stores when they throw stuff ask people if they can use it or know anyone that can use it.

I bought a bunch of Disney princess barbies from walmart for 1.50 each... just so I can donate them. I don't even know 1 little girl but I couldn't pass them up! I understand your excitement, great job!
Yes its so much fun to give to those in need.
Taking some of that stuff to Children's Hospital for the little ones would be good. Even some of the teenage girls that maybe there would probably enjoy some of the nail polish. Also some of that stuff you could probably donate to homeless or people in nursing homes to give them a little holiday cheer since most folks don't have family that come to see them anymore.

I want to go dumpster diving
When my daughter worked at Sephora, they were instructed to destroy products they threw out. So wasteful.
Most stores are told to do that. Even grocery stores. Many are told to poor bleach over it all. Quite a few do not do that even if they are told to.
The haul was wonderful, but your giving nature was better. May God continue to bless you for all the giving you do. Your video was the best. Enjoy your holiday and you guys take care of each other. 💕
I've been watching dumpster diving on & off for a few months. I'm in Northern Indiana and its been brutally cold the past week! I have a few icky autoimmune diseases but the ones that keep me down the most are Lupus & Ulcerative Colitis. UA-cam is my favorite outlet! I love that I stumbled on your channel. I do "mild" extreme couponing in the warmer months when I'm feeling better. I keep only the things that my family needs & uses and donate the rest. In 2016 I only coupons for 4 months and was able to keep 1 1/2 years of personal care items, cleaning products & some food. But, I gave all 3 of my sisters 1 year of stuff for their entire household (including makeup!) And was able to gift huge boxes to over 30 different families & make over 40 bags to give to the homeless. Despite our brutal winters, we have a huge year round homeless communitys that live in tent communities in our wooded areas. We even have tent communities under bridges. It felt amazing to give! I did more for women. I gave toilet paper, hand sanitizer, feminine supplies (for their monthly & also wipes to clean) I gave baby wipes to wash, makeup wipes, dry shampoo, spray lotion, razors, first aid suppiles, toothbrushes, toothpaste, mouthwash, tide & gain laundry pods, and even bottles of liquid laundry soap. Oh, and first aid kits. I even gave some of the ladies makeup. It feels amazing to be able to bless those whom have very little! I adore that you do this to give to others. I'm not sure what our dumpster diving laws are here but, I'm considering trying it out!

That makes me sick. Literally. Than they wonder what were gonna do with all of our trash in the world... this is exactly why the trash fields are being overloaded. They say for us consumers to cut down on plastic usage, this, that, and the other when its the companies that need to stop throwing out useful perfect items. Im livid. If you have a residential VA near you, they are always in need of gifts, that the patients choose for their immediate family and volunteers wrap and mail to their families homes. Many of the residents have no monies, so this helps them keep connected to their families. I know because I am in the American Legion Auxiliary Unit #15 Medford Oregon. We put in thousands of hours, and thousands of dollar's each year to help our Veterans, in White City, Oregon the VA SORRC.

So glad you are keeping this stuff out of the landfills. One time I helped a relative clean out his rental units, We would take whatever was left behind to the landfill. I would see stuff with price tags still on it, in the units we cleaned and at the landfill. Our country throws away more stuff than what some countries have. Blessings, stay safe.

Just an idea, I think it would be better for y'all to make the gift bags/baskets and hand them out on Thanksgiving, only because if you give out Christmas pot holders/towels and other Christmas stuff they really won't be able to put the stuff to use until the following year. But this way if you hand them out on Thanksgiving when people normally start to decorate they'll be able to use them for a whole month, especially those Christmas admeant calendars. Just an idea for the actual Christmas stuff.
Also, I am so happy that you guys found all this stuff and not those other people that dumpster dive just to sell the stuff, you guys right away thought of giving EVERYTHING away. Such big hearts you all have! We need more people like you and your family in this world.
As far as the blankets, I think y'all should donate them to the homeless, unfortunately I know the feeling of being cold and sleeping in my car all to well. It sucks being cold but I have no choice and if you came up to me and handed me a blanket, I would be so damn happy. As I'm typing this I'm parked in the hospital parking lot, one, I feel safe here, two, they have free wifi, three, I can go in to use the restroom whenever etc etc.
I agree and we will hand them out much earlier and around or before Thanksgiving is a great time.

I'm ashamed that we in the USA throw away things that people really need! Homeless people could use those blankets and toys for underprivileged children! We are spoiled!

If it was after Xmas that’s what stores like family dollar and dollar general do. After the reductions post Xmas once it’s been 90% . They don’t want to mark it lower or give it away. Every store I’ve worked at does it.
Chris it looks like quite a lot of us were thinking the same way, that an employee was going to come back after they got out of work ~ SADLY they would have logged into their eBay account, where they would have listed those items FOR SALE!!!!

I managed a Ross store and we tried calling charities to come pick up our "quality control" all the time for some really great stuff........sometimes they would show up and some time they wouldnt. When your store only has so much space to store things and new stuff coming in all the time, you have to make space one way or another. I used to set the good stuff separately beside the dumpsters instead of putting it inside so the people picking up wouldnt have to "dive" into a nasty dumpster. Its crazy to do stuff like ruin the stuff you are throwing away when all it takes is a marker through the barcode on a package so people cant return for money it looks like this store didnt even do that.

The blankets would be nice for a nursing home. Wow what a load from 1 dumpster. Angle, I've watched a lot of dumpster diving videos and Blended Abode is the only one that donates. The others sale what they find, and I feel that not right. Once again God bless you.

How wonderful your family is for donating all these new things to the needy and PET"S :D BTW - These store's get almost all their money back in tax right offs - so sad when their are so many who are needy- When working in A fried chicken place as A teen , the manger refused to let us take leftover fresh food home , they would rather dump it!! :/
Blue Iris they figure if they did that then they would over cook the amount of food on purpose “Since it’s for the employees” but tossing it out they had to manage the food waste.
Just saw your video, it's a very decent thing your doing. Going round the dumpsters and collecting all the good stuff and then donating this to people who really need it! Big companies just toss this stuff out cos they can't make a dollar on it anymore, just think of the publicity they would get if they did donate it to good causes. I think your brilliant for doing this! Long may you find massive hauls like this one and long may you do right by those that need it. Love Scotland UK.
