Yea, in Philippines we don’t use salt in regular rice 🍚 But here in the states, sometimes I use a teaspoon of salt and more than that it can get salty.
Hey Tim, sorry to hear about your mask. Looks like it was a very good mask. I have issues with certain masks too. Would you please share with us the brand and where you got that mask from? I am really interested in getting one. Thanks.
The rice is salty.... Of course it's salty compare with normal rice because the nasi lemak rice cooked with coconut milk, some salt & pandan leaf.. The sauce made with dried chillies, some shrimp paste that Malaysian called it "belacan" and also some sugar. Meanwhile on Tim's plate was authentic malay dish - beef rendang. Made from blended onion, garlic, lemongrass, dried chillies, fresh chillies & of course coconut milk too.. Hopefully you guys enjoyed Malaysian authentic cuisine..The nasi lemak & beef rendang.❤️
I was in KL early 60s with the NZ Military. I spent some time in the British Military Hospital there. The Prime Minister was Tunku Abdul Rahman, a highly respected man, also by me. The Malaysian people were very nice to me during my 2 year deployment there and i spent many enjoyable visits to KL, Penang and also at Singapore. I am honoured to be the bearer of three Malaysian Military Service medals, which i value dearly from the country i served in. God bless Malaysia. Robert Wilson.
2 h ago huh, Welcome to KL. Hope you sort the silly matters out. But do stay many days to try each of the awesome flavours of Malaysia. Speaking as a Canadian, everything is so much better than what's available in America/Canada. Nasi Kandar/burgerLab/Laksa/TomYum/...to name a few of my favorites of the common dishes.
Wow you two are are amazing thanks for thumbnailing me that made my freaking day I'd buy y'all some food sometime if we get to hang out again friend thanks God bless
Nasi Lemak? I love this dish and whenever I am in Msia I always order this dish. Msia food are delicious. Honestly I often travel there mostly for their food. Christy it’s sad that you didn’t like it.
Hi Tim, I missed the live stream so I'm glad you recorded it. Chrissy looks tired. The food looks good, you have quite a few choices of food to pick from. I hope you're able to get your mask back. Good luck on making it back to the Philippines. Take care, God Bless you and your family!
The road thing is easy Tim. If the vehicle is made for the country you are driving in, always keep the steering wheel near the centre of the road. 4pm here Tim. From a Kiwi in Thailand
Went so far for food? Can't you just walk out of the hotel and walk? Gotta commend you for putting up with all that bull shiet. Singapore probably most expensive place in the world. Malaysia looks interesting. Great video

Malaysian food is way cheaper than in Singapore. Singaporeans go over to shop, eat, buy gas, groceries. Glad you and Chrissy had a good time away. You're welcome, I enjoy you and Chrissy's contents. You don't beat round the bush, say it as it is, but at times a little diplomatic, being a "guest"which is understanable.
I had an even dumber thing happen. I had a domestic flight combined with international flights the next day. My treat result hasn’t come in yet when I tried to pickup the tickets but to fly domestically I didn’t need a test but since I had connecting flights later they refused to give me my domestic ticket. So I had to buy a one way domestic ticket on the spot and then go through a 3 hour hastily and almost miss my international flights the next day because the airport couldn’t figure out how I had two tickets and couldn’t figure out how to give me the two international ones. Cost me 750$ for the domestic flight double booking. No refunds by the way lol
Think she's eating Nasi Lemak. Rice is different cos it's cooked with coconut milk. Think Tim having same dish, only with Beef Rendang. Don't understand why she's not liking malay food coz our taste bud is similar to filipino. Maybe she's still a rookie traveller. Most foreigners i know love Nasi Lemak. 😊 I'm Malay Singaporean, my Filipino OFW friends love eating them. Most prefer Malay and Indian food rather than Chinese food. They're too blend. 😂
Malaysian food so much better than pinoy food, hope u enjoyed Malaysia. That stall u visted Wan Jo, is a famous nasi lemak stall in KL. Malaysian food is kinda spicy compared to pinoy food. I think Christy is not used to eating the sambal chilli in the nasi lemak.
@@GajahMengaumTheBruce ya, that's Right espescially for someone who has never travel abroad, poor Chrissy, everything is new for her. Everyone has own preference, just like me, can never appreciate sweet Filipino spaghetti altough enjoying their other cuisine
Tim's plate , beef rendang, rice, sambal, egg
Thank you Maria!
Enjoy your stay in Malaysia.
Foods are cheap than in Singapore.
You're welcome..

You are right Tim the hazy requirements for travel does make visiting less appealing.

Chrissy Nasi lemak is Malaysian no 1 favourite food , how dare , you say bad about our food
Clearly, it tasted like a camels arse cheek. How is Chrissy not allowed to react, or judge, yet you can?
She's just not used to it. Maybe another try next time.
