But seriously, I think a lot of the hate is undeserved. Like cmon people, give it a break, stop trying to change who he is.
I feel bad for the horrible ones but there are some based on Simon that are very true. For the most part the hate is unfair but sometimes he has it coming to him based on how he acts on videos so I have less sympathy for him
Tim Lettiero but that’s how he acts ON camera, when he’s OFF camera he’s definitely different, but people see the person ON camera as a definitive representative of that person, it’s why Jj gets so much shit, KSI is a character and Jj is who plays it, he’s even said it in videos lmao

I don't understand because I find Simon so likeable but through this video I realised he is getting hate and it genuinely pisses me off. Without him and the Sidemen, I don't know what I would have done these past few months, they're the ones making me smile and laugh everyday. I just hope he realises there are lots of people out there who are so grateful for him and who just wants him to be happy.
I mean when I started watching the sidemen, Simon seemed cocky, was a know it all and overly sarcastic, but I have been watching the Sidemen for a long time now and I know Simon is a nice guy but I can see why some people don’t like him.

Noel Ramos I mean you can’t stop people from having favorites, but just because a specific person is your favorite doesn’t mean they hate everyone else, I mean personally I don’t watch Simon as much as other people who like him more than any other sidemen, but I’ve watched a lot of their videos to know that the sidemen wouldn’t really be the sidemen if Simon left, and that goes for everyone else in the sidemen as well. They are all important and should be respected as part of the sidemen, and about the cocky part, whenever I see Ethan, JJ, or anyone else being cocky I can tell when they are joking or being sarcastic, and Simon is sarcastic as hell but I feel like it’s hard to tell when he is.

I feel like people hate on Simon because he jokes around a lot and I think people just take it way too seriously. Also I feel like people see him as someone who 'bullies' his friends and members of the sidemen, but it's just friendly banter, especially with the Sidemen videos, they all take the piss out of each other, but it's because they are friends and they are just joking with each other, all friend groups do it as well. At the end of the day Simon is a nice, genuine guy and he doesn't deserve the hate.

I want nothing more than to be able to have a one on one with Simon. This is the first time we’ve seen him on camera like this and he seems so uncomfortable. I just found this almost a whole year later and... it brings me so much joy seeing them like this. They seem so real like they aren't pretending or forcing a smile because they have to, this is their complete honesty and I respect them for it. I wonder how they would respond to these same questions now during Covid. I know that these four amazing people might never see this and I may never meet them but... it's people like this; these four wonderful UA-camrs that have done so much for so many people that make me glad that they really are my heroes.

I love coming back to this video especially watching late at night in my feels.. I really hope that Simon did see these comments and know how much he is loved and josh is so inspiring and is so comfortable in himself and seeing them both be so open and vulnerable something they haven’t done before was so heartwarming to see. Most people see josh as the boring old one and think that that’s a funny joke to constantly run but he’s so much more, I love watching his videos. Simon just always makes me feel happy both of their laughs are so contagious and the content they put out is so enjoyable. I watch him and Simon the most so I guess some bias maybe. I had a bit of depression when my parents split up, and it happened before a school camp and luck was not on my side at all because I was excited to go to the camp but then I saw it as a chance of escape from home when they told me they were separated and school because of the assholes I was dealing with there. The camp rolls around and right away on the first day and night I suffered an ankle injury that was really bad because the very morning after the injury occurred, a bruise had formed and there was swelling (I ended up being sent home later that day) and I had to do physical therapy which I had found out that the ligament was torn from the injury
