@@Petruskinhap972 Maybe if y'all actually answered the call lights people wouldn't have to come hunt you down 🥴 I was on the surgery floor at the hospital and I had accidentally slept through when my next dose of pain meds would be due and so was in excruciating pain. I used my call button and for 5 minutes or so two nurses (one of them being mine) were standing a few feet from my door talking about a vacation one of them had just been on. My mom (who is also a nurse) had to go peek her head out and tell my nurse to do her job instead of chatting and said she's embarrassed to have the same title (RN) as her. The complaining about getting the patient water is why I hate the US healthcare system. This has actually happened. That doesn't make them bad nurses. None of them said names or anything they did to harm a patient. Some of these reactions are ridiculous.
When I was in labor with my 2nd daughter, nurses came in my room venting about the mom a couple doors down screaming in pain saying just get the damn epidural already ( she didn't want one ) I look at her disgusted n she says sorry does her thing and leaves, my door was open and me, my husband and mom could hear them talking shit making fun of her at the nurses station. Ever since that day I've been disappointed in people that work in the medical field, not just labor n delivery ALL medical people have shown me they are only there for a paycheck they don't care about anyone.
sorry, too many people die in hospitals while giving birth so this is totally inappropriate. In reality, I've watched nurses do this sht all day. As a former social worker in the hospital, I saw some very hateful nurses that talk about patients like a dog. I'm glad they were fired.
I used to work at an urgent care and them talking about people constantly seems to be way more common than it should be. One that made me the most mad was a lot of them were so jaded that they treated everyone...I mean EVERYONE, that complained of paid like a drug seeker unless they had some crazy visible injury and even then I heard them say "they're not hurting THAT bad". Makes me sick.
I remember in 2016 I got fired for posting something nice about Jasmine Guy on the internet. I said the sweetest thing because she was one of my favorite actors. At the time I was still learning how to post things on the internet. I was at work and my boss saw it, because I invited him onto my Facebook page. I was let go because of HIPPA laws. It was a sweet statement, however, it didn't matter. Anyway, I learned a huge lesson back then with social media, and I don't really use it that much at all. These women had great careers and threw it down the drain for TikTok. I have a son who is 25- years-old. I remember the day I gave birth. He is my only child. I was nervous and praying that I didn't lose my life giving birth. Giving birth is extremely dangerous and should be treated as so. I know nurses jobs are demanding but you went to school for years for a career. You work in a service environment. If you don't want to help people then find another career. It's just that simple. Whatever I feel, I keep it to myself. Pray for your patients. Don't talk about them or disrespect them live. I hope all nurses learn from this. Giving birth is not a game it can be deadly. Show some respect for mothers and the miracle of life 🙏.
This was messed up but I expected it to be a lot worse, I’m not going to lie. I feel like a long suspension would’ve been more appropriate but they should’ve known better than to be making TikToks talking about patients at work. Y’all gotta get over this obsession with social media validation and focus on your actual life! Now they’re all unemployed right before Christmas. Dumb as hell🤦🏽♀️
Can you even imagine what they have done to that hospitals reputation??? Would you want to go there? Naw they needed to be fired and distanced from the organization as swiftly as possible. They are lucky is their licenses are revoked. Better get an IT cert cause these dumb asses don’t need to be working with people
I have an older sister who is a nurse and she doesn't talk anything bad about her patients ever s*** like this is why I have a hard time trusting the medical field I am currently pregnant I have a 3-year-old daughter and a 6 year old son as well and with my daughter I was just having such a horrible experience with her dad and the doctors that I made sure I took a shower before I came in when I went into labor
“Ask for a paternity test right outside the door “ are they supposed to wait for the court to make them pay for child support and then find out the child ain’t theirs
Yes. Everybody complains about something related to their jobs and the people on it. Stop acting like this is a surprise. Some of these professionals go as far as doing illegal stuff, too. But, they were venting about their experiences.
This is the most unprofessional thing I’ve ever seen. Unfortunately, you do deserve to have been let go from your profession. We promote respectful maternity care . be respectful.
Me either. They never mentioned any names of patients, just their experiences. They just shouldn't have posted it. Everything they said has happened before, I'm sure. People are taking this too far.
🚨 This was Decatur. A largely black area. The black nurses would be first screaming about "black pregnancy racism". Interesting how this works 🙃 Bonnets, Lashes, Mayhem
I worked in healthcare ten years ago and I remember them putting the fear of god into us when it came to posting on social media. Everywhere I worked they had a whole discussion about how posting about patients in anyway online is a firing offense. These healthcare providers know better by now!
As a CNA working towards my RN license… this makes me RAGE. This would never fly in my hospital. This is not venting, this is bullying 😬 I’ll be the first to say there are plenty of crappy nurses out there, but there are good ones too and they don’t act like this…
I was at a pregmancy checkup and overheard my obgyn talking about the dead baby she had just delivered and laughing about it not making it right outside my room and o was shook. When she came in she did a pelvic check and hurt me so bad i grabbed this bs wrist and couldnt let go. All i could think is that these are the hands that that baby felt while trying to breathe and couldnt.
The only one that’s an actual ick is going between the 2 baby mamas, (but even that isn’t your business!)the rest is called is patient care..if you don’t want to do that, get out of bedside patient care!
Everyone complains about their job at some point. Only GOOD people will keep to themselves to avoid hurting peoples feelings. If they come to you for help, don’t criticize them afterwards for asking for YOUR help. Shame on them for being so mean.
Imagine venting to your coworkers and they film it and then put it up without consent and gets everyone fired when all they are doing is venting like we all do at work
Right. What if they didn't know they were going to post it? They have a right to vent. It's helps them not get burnt out. But, non-healthcare workers would never get this or see it from their point of view.
That's so unprofessional. I loved my nurses when I had my babies. I remember thinking my own nurse literally saved me life when I had my c section with my daughter. I didn't eat anything because it was planned. She told me that the medicine they were going to give me would make me throw up. I underestimated the medicine. I wound up throwing up nothing but stomach acid then entire time and couldn't breathe. But I couldn't just say that because it was non stop. The nurse noticed and propped me up a bit.
I work at a retail store/ grocery store and of course there are some days where I hate customers cause they are outright disrespectful and pain in the ass.. of course we’re all human so we need to vent.. I only do that when we’re away from customers and then vent..
@@MahatheauthorBut being descriptive is not saying names. They just shouldn't have recorded this while at work or posted it. Since you're not a heath professional you shouldn't comment on what you don't know.

@@DeidresStuffIt's not, but alot of them act like they're above you. I've read countless stories about family members who went from a normal job to working in the medical field and they suddenly change.
Their only mistake was filming at work. Every complaint was a legitimate one. People treat hospitals like hotels and expect to be waited on hand and foot
Naaa they have every right to be mad about these things it’s normal it’s just ppl be sensitive and think health care workers aren’t aloud to not like some things. We all feel this way sometimes it’s just the way they went about it online
There are too dumb for the nursing profession. None of them realise how wrong there are, choose your friends right in life. Have smart people around you that will tell you when you wrong. This is too hard to watch. I'm glad there were fired, but they should be removed from practicing in their lifetime, they have no empathy, no intelligence for the nursing profession. Shout out to the majority of nurses for their hardwork and compassion for their patients. My few times in hospital, I've encountered the most most beautiful souls i.e nurses. Most of nurses are really good compassionate people. Welldone to good nurses and all other medical professionals.
They should be fired. Who in their right mind would trust anyone of them to care for them and their baby after seeing some shit like this. Now they can focus on being tik tok content creaters since they valued that over their job.
The cost of having a baby should let me act HOWEVER…. “so what this is my tenth time at the nurses station getting little cheese snacks and juice… ANNNNND “ 😂
I’ve never given birth, but I was hospitalized for a few weeks recently. I was completely unable to walk and was bed bound, but I was also on lasiks so I had to use the bathroom frequently. Even though I had a commode sat right next to my bed I needed a nurse to help me into it. I couldn’t bare any weight. Multiple times I ended up peeing myself because my night nurses would ignore my call light frequently. I have never felt more helpless or more ashamed of myself, laying there in my own urine for hours. Some people should not work with patients. I had some amazing nurses, but that experience will always stick with me.
Yes, that's unfortunate that you had to experience that. But, did you know for sure that she was ignoring you or was she with another patient when you called. Some of these hospitals work short staffed and are stressed to the max with patients everywhere and not enough people to give proper care to each one. Also, they hire or replace the nurses that leave because their "watching the budget." That's what I've heard the problems are in healthcare.
The nurses ick about knowing the babies weight: here in Canada we literally have to know the babies weight to get their birth certificates. Its a question on the form. Their ignorance.
It makes it easier for them to come to the station instead of pushing the call button. Saying her ick is when a mom says she doesn't want pain medication or an epidural when she's at an 8 out of 10 on cervadil, is tacky.
I dare y’all disgusting talking specially in the LABOR department where mothers are tired , fatigued , in pain some are under medication effect , due to a Emergency C section or facing unexpected experiences feeling vulnerable, are u serious? Totally Unethical, did you all went to sleep on training? I am also happy y’all got fired!
Lol they need new careers ....we all have tuff patients sometimes...but when your sick your not going to be on ur best behavior...we're all a little off when we're sick or delivering a baby!!!
Why did they think this was appropriate to post? 😮 Some people are just good at taking tests, meanwhile they are unprofessional from the start and they have no common sense.
I’m not a nurse but I’ve worked as a nurses assistant for the past seven years I can confirm there is a lot of people that should not be in the medical field at all
My guess as to why they were fired. People will remember this hospital and these nurses, and will think twice about have a baby there. That takes money away from the hospital. If they do deliver there, they may be more biased to leave a negative review of the experience, which will also take away potential revenue. It opens these nurses up to potentially dangerous situations if past patients return with a vendetta. Better for the sake of these women and their employer to wipe the slate clean. At least the women who has masks on could potentially deny it.
I don’t mind my l&d nurses having icks we are all human somethings will bother us more than others. That’s just how it goes. But putting it on the internet is not okay.

This is the one I’m sure other medical professionals do it too
What they did was unprofessional, I agree.
sorry, too many people die in hospitals while giving birth so this is totally inappropriate. In reality, I've watched nurses do this sht all day. As a former social worker in the hospital, I saw some very hateful nurses that talk about patients like a dog. I'm glad they were fired.
That’s my point. Patients are suppose to trust their nurses and doctors, so when that is lost theres no more patients
Does maternal death always mean its the midwives fault?
I used to work at an urgent care and them talking about people constantly seems to be way more common than it should be. One that made me the most mad was a lot of them were so jaded that they treated everyone...I mean EVERYONE, that complained of paid like a drug seeker unless they had some crazy visible injury and even then I heard them say "they're not hurting THAT bad". Makes me sick.
@@laur131306 its sad
So glad they are fired too! The unprofessionalism in uniform AT WORK AND then post it!!! All of your hard work in school down the drain!!
Just Pitiful......We must have compassionate, professional, skilled Nurses .....PERIOD
Period!
Yes and they got what they deserved
Yeah, unfortunately, hospitals are in dire need of nurses. Many hospitals have to hire travel nurses to fill many vacancies .
@@Raine1990 that's true and I think they said some of these nurses are travel nurses
Can you even imagine what they have done to that hospitals reputation??? Would you want to go there? Naw they needed to be fired and distanced from the organization as swiftly as possible. They are lucky is their licenses are revoked. Better get an IT cert cause these dumb asses don’t need to be working with people
@@fuzzyspirals exactly they were going to lose a lot of future patients if they didn't act quick and I don't blame them.
Well find another job but folks will definitely remember you all
Sometimes patients act like children.
So glad they were fired.
I have an older sister who is a nurse and she doesn't talk anything bad about her patients ever s*** like this is why I have a hard time trusting the medical field I am currently pregnant I have a 3-year-old daughter and a 6 year old son as well and with my daughter I was just having such a horrible experience with her dad and the doctors that I made sure I took a shower before I came in when I went into labor
exactly people acting like what these nurses did is normal
👍
Welp this likely will forever destroy their reputation and will likely make it harder for them to find another nursing job
I hope so they do not need to be working with patients 🤷🏽♀
I highly doubt it nurses are in high demand. But now they’ll just be careful and still be the shitty people they are.
@@Mahatheauthor you are part of the problem.
@@Jamshort2 how exactly?
Nope, not with this nursing shortage.
They were telling the truth
Yes, they are. They just shouldn't have posted it.
“Ask for a paternity test right outside the door “ are they supposed to wait for the court to make them pay for child support and then find out the child ain’t theirs
I would think they would know if their the father before going to the delivery. Idk.
The pain one kills me... I did not want any pain meds, that doesn't mean I wasn't in pain lol WTF
Exactly it’s sad
You won't get a medal if you don't take any.

Every profession complains about the people they serve. They just don't put it on tick tock!!!!!
that is true. we all have stresses
Yes. Everybody complains about something related to their jobs and the people on it. Stop acting like this is a surprise. Some of these professionals go as far as doing illegal stuff, too. But, they were venting about their experiences.
Labor and delivery nurses..hmmm and black women have higher death rates.. makes me wonder.
Exactly
💯 very concerning
This is what makes it extremely tone deaf.
Exactly!!!
How many times did they push the nurses button before they sent a family member to the nurses station?
A lot
This is the most unprofessional thing I’ve ever seen. Unfortunately, you do deserve to have been let go from your profession. We promote respectful maternity care . be respectful.
I still don’t understand why they were fired for this 🙄
Me either. They never mentioned any names of patients, just their experiences. They just shouldn't have posted it. Everything they said has happened before, I'm sure. People are taking this too far.
🚨 This was Decatur. A largely black area. The black nurses would be first screaming about "black pregnancy racism". Interesting how this works 🙃
Bonnets, Lashes, Mayhem
BRO NAHHH I USED TO LIVE THERE 😂😂🥲🥲 so fuckin ghetto
I worked in healthcare ten years ago and I remember them putting the fear of god into us when it came to posting on social media. Everywhere I worked they had a whole discussion about how posting about patients in anyway online is a firing offense. These healthcare providers know better by now!
Exactly
As a CNA working towards my RN license… this makes me RAGE. This would never fly in my hospital. This is not venting, this is bullying 😬 I’ll be the first to say there are plenty of crappy nurses out there, but there are good ones too and they don’t act like this…
Well now they don’t have to worry about that.
I SEE CNA AND NURSES TALK ABOUT PATIENTS ALL THE TIME ON THE INTERNET IT DIDN'T DAWN ON ME THEY PROBABLY WAS RETIRED.
Yeah when a lot of people retire or get fired they tend to air a lot of dirty laundry on social media .
Fired
This is incredibly unprofessional. Everyone has their “ick” but most medical professionals know better than to post it on the internet.
This is what they got fired for
I don't think that they should have been fired
They should have been suspended with a warning
I agree. They can vent all they want, just not on the job.
Everyone complains about their job at some point. Only GOOD people will keep to themselves to avoid hurting peoples feelings. If they come to you for help, don’t criticize them afterwards for asking for YOUR help. Shame on them for being so mean.
I felt the baby momma ick tho. 😩
You took a oath you should be professional shame on you
I've banned everyone and everything in that horrible industry.
I’m glad all you no good tricks got fired too! Now run tell that.💅🏾
right on
Imagine venting to your coworkers and they film it and then put it up without consent and gets everyone fired when all they are doing is venting like we all do at work
Right. What if they didn't know they were going to post it? They have a right to vent. It's helps them not get burnt out. But, non-healthcare workers would never get this or see it from their point of view.
Manner I remember working in the hospital and experiencing all of this!!!
I’m sure it’s common but think they need to be screened often
That's so unprofessional. I loved my nurses when I had my babies. I remember thinking my own nurse literally saved me life when I had my c section with my daughter. I didn't eat anything because it was planned. She told me that the medicine they were going to give me would make me throw up. I underestimated the medicine. I wound up throwing up nothing but stomach acid then entire time and couldn't breathe. But I couldn't just say that because it was non stop. The nurse noticed and propped me up a bit.
You had a good nurse💞
I'm so glad to know that they got fired
I work at a retail store/ grocery store and of course there are some days where I hate customers cause they are outright disrespectful and pain in the ass.. of course we’re all human so we need to vent.. I only do that when we’re away from customers and then vent..
thats the point we all get frustrated but being this unprofessional is crazy
That's the only thing I think they did wrong. Doing it at work and posting it.
I honestly didn't see a problem with this video. They didn't name anyone specific.
They didn’t have to some of the icks were descriptive.
@@MahatheauthorBut being descriptive is not saying names. They just shouldn't have recorded this while at work or posted it. Since you're not a heath professional you shouldn't comment on what you don't know.
My ick is all these stone cold nurses with no empathy that clearly hate their job, zero professionalism, rude af. Glad you all were humbled and fired! Need to be banned from any career involving patient care. So disgusted because I've experienced nurses just like this.
Wow, self snitching is at an all time high these days.
These nurses have a nerve! I should make a TikTok! My ick would blow theirs out the water! My ick resulted in my baby being born alive and dying a short while after due to “medical professionals” incompetence! Still trying to get answers and this happened Dec 28th 2023! These people make me sick!
My ick is when they in the reverse postion, they holler worst than a lil mitch! Yall shoulda been fired.
This been happening for years 46yrs ago went through horrible situation in the hospital having my daughter the pain was horrible the nurses were so nasty because of that never had another child these young nurses no empathy social media it's very bad
So there's no Hippocratic oath anymore? What a waste of a degree to just get fired.
It's not that hard to become a nurse. I'm guessing this isn't the Master's degree crowd.
@@DeidresStuffIt's not, but alot of them act like they're above you. I've read countless stories about family members who went from a normal job to working in the medical field and they suddenly change.
As a RN myself I'm embarrassed by this. Wow...
My ick, is having people like this in my field. I have second hand embarrassment. It's called being a nurse and I hope nobody employs you again.
Their only mistake was filming at work. Every complaint was a legitimate one. People treat hospitals like hotels and expect to be waited on hand and foot
All these icks are valid. So many people mad because the shoe fit 😂
Facts!
Naaa they have every right to be mad about these things it’s normal it’s just ppl be sensitive and think health care workers aren’t aloud to not like some things. We all feel this way sometimes it’s just the way they went about it online
Thank you. I agree. Just don't post it.
The ammount of years they had to study and now they are fired.
Now they can focus on being tik tok content creaters since they valued that over their job.
exactly they was sure to lose future patients if they didn't.
They vent like this on a sub reddit. It's mostly about the families visiting the patients...
The cost of having a baby should let me act HOWEVER…. “so what this is my tenth time at the nurses station getting little cheese snacks and juice… ANNNNND “ 😂
People are just a bunch of cry babies. It’s not that big of a deal. Everyone’s feelings are always hurt
These nurses are MY ick!!!!!
Wow. I've never dealt with nurses like that. I'm shocked
Oh it’s plenty of them around
My ick is watching these healthcare workers verbalize their disdain for the patients they are supposed to be caring for. They are truly disgusting.
I’m sorry that happened to you
Yes, that's unfortunate that you had to experience that.
Their ignorance.
yeah this is disgusting. I freebirthed my daughter and it was literally the best decision I ever made.
They should've been fired....GREAT!!!
Exactly
It makes it easier for them to come to the station instead of pushing the call button. Saying her ick is when a mom says she doesn't want pain medication or an epidural when she's at an 8 out of 10 on cervadil, is tacky.
They deserve to get fired…… you can vent all you want but this makes nurses and the hospital look bad and makes patients uncomfortable….
Exactly
I dare y’all disgusting talking specially in the LABOR department where mothers are tired , fatigued , in pain some are under medication effect , due to a Emergency C section or facing unexpected experiences feeling vulnerable, are u serious? Totally Unethical, did you all went to sleep on training? I am also happy y’all got fired!
You're supposed to do this is private guys, not online. Smh
Well I heard plumbing pays well.
Embarrassing that the majority of these "professionals" were poc. I pray the nursing board yanks their licenses
See that’s the thing they haven’t done that yet so they can get other nursing jobs
@@Mahatheauthor that's sad because it's obvious that they lack integrity, possess no dignity, and offer no empathy
I’m not a nurse but I’ve worked as a nurses assistant for the past seven years I can confirm there is a lot of people that should not be in the medical field at all
the asking babies weight when they’re still in your arms one was pretty funny though
Not really tho. Could’ve been a new mom who was clearly overwhelmed with the birth and asked that question
@Mahatheauthor How is she overwhelmed, and the baby is already out? You won't know how much the baby weighs if you're holding it, duh.
At least the women who has masks on could potentially deny it.
exactly
I don’t mind my l&d nurses having icks we are all human somethings will bother us more than others. That’s just how it goes. But putting it on the internet is not okay.
I agree. They are human, too, and this stuff actually happens.
