A nurse in Jackson Memorial hospital in Miami kick me out having contractions and told me I was wasting her time. I walked to the elevator with 9 months pregnancy and contractions crying with my mom. My pregnancy was high risk cause I can’t delivery the baby if is not C-section RH NEGATIVE BLOOD TYPE and finally a male nurse runs to my help and gave me a bed. 24 hours of pain and my baby was not delivered, fever and infection cause the vaginal check up every now and then. My water went out and still no attention to my poor condition. After 30 hours my baby heart beat was slow and then they wait till 4 am to do the C-section cause it pays them more money at night. My baby was positioned to get out but no space to get out so she did poop inside me and they use their hands to get her out forcing me into an unimaginable pain they put the epidural and say DO NOT PUCH SITTING ME IN THAT CONDITION TO GET MY BACK ANESTHESIA. When water broken the nurse said I HATE WHEN THIS HAPPENS, cause her shoes were wet cause the amount of water dropped when I was sitting to get anesthesia in my back. It was the most horrible day of my life. C-section was made and my daughter was on intensive care for 6 days. High bilirrubina cause she was O+ and me RH- lock of oxygen and infection do the long time stocked up in the canal with the poop she has inside me. Me with fever still and feeling horrible. Story short. After I went to my bed again I had profusely bleeding from my vagina and I went to the bathroom holding myself from the wall to walk painfully the bleeding continues and all the floor was cover. I screamed for help and the same nurse passed by the door looked at me and left. At that exact moment a visitor arrives to see me my brother father in law and he saw me he runs to my help and cleaned me himself like a father would do. The horror I endures those days are real. Demonic people are inside the hospitals. For the Grace of God my daughter survived now She is 24 and a USA military Medical Branch Officer graduated from WestPoint 2021 class scholarship She earned.
God is watching. Hope this nurses who almost kills us Finds God forgiveness.
Thank you so much for reading my story.

Omg bless you and your daughters souls! What a psychopath nurse! Im sure she had to be a complete psycho with zero empathy.
I just went through a very traumatic birth too. My baby was pushing out of me, I was pouring blood, the epidural failed, and the Nurse said "Ill be back in 2 hours". 😮 WHAT. I endured a couple more minutes before my fiance flipped and a different nurse came in. The new nurse delivered my baby a second later and I almost died from blood loss. I had to have an immediate transfusion.
Smh...some Nurses are ANGELS. Some just do it as a job. People are people. Im just so happy my baby is OK. I was also a High Risk pregnancy and had a lot of complications.

The complaining about getting the patient water is why I hate the US healthcare system. This has actually happened. I had to borderline harass staff to treat my ex-bf (who is black btw) when he broke his arm. They kept walking right by him and then ignored my three requests to get an IV in him because he was clearly dehydrated!! They waited until he cramped up EVERYWHERE and was in severe pain and then said "oh, seems like you're dehydrated." We had just rushed there from the trampoline park, and I had told the nurse that several times as she ignored my requests. Crazy thing is it would have taken even longer had I not harassed them.

That has nothing to do with the US Healthcare system but rather the staff being bad at their jobs. Btw I'm saying this because a friend of mine lives in the UK and had to go to the clinic, waited about 16 hours just to be seen. It's one thing when the staff is purposefully ignoring a patient another when they really can't get to the patient right away unless it's bad.

I am a nurse as well and absolutely nothing that was said in this video is offensive. We get irked if people don’t use the call bell and show up at the nursing station. This has been an irk from the time Florence Nightingale was walking around with her lamp. Its not only annoying but risky in certain situations (fall risk, patient disconnecting themselves from monitors, etc) and also sometimes the staff is discussing another patients at the station (orders and such). So yes it’s freaking annoying in every damn floor, including L&D. It’s annoying when patients ask stupid questions in every floor (how much does the baby weight when you’re holding the baby 🤔 ). It’s annoying when family members are annoying.
I think it’s unfortunate that nowadays nobody can state an opinion, as obvious or as mild as it may be, without hurting someone’s feeling. Everyone’s feelings are hurt over SOMETHING nowadays.
Funny videos about families denying a DNR and demanding chest compressions on their frail 90 year old memaws are also on the internet. They are not offensive, they are relatable to anyone in the medical field. You wouldn’t understand because you’re not a nurse.
And these nurses defending FIRING staff right now over a video that doesn’t even violate HIPAA and could have been addressed with a correction plan…when we are so understaffed and it’s so difficult to RETAIN staff as it is……it just boggles my mind. It’s the era os the victimization for sure.

@@Petruskinhap972 Maybe if y'all actually answered the call lights people wouldn't have to come hunt you down 🥴 I was on the surgery floor at the hospital and I had accidentally slept through when my next dose of pain meds would be due and so was in excruciating pain. I used my call button and for 5 minutes or so two nurses (one of them being mine) were standing a few feet from my door talking about a vacation one of them had just been on. My mom (who is also a nurse) had to go peek her head out and tell my nurse to do her job instead of chatting and said she's embarrassed to have the same title (RN) as her. The nurse was sort of new and was very embarrassed- rightfully so- and got the med situation taken care of. Thankfully it was toward the end of her shift and the charge nurse agreed to make sure she wasn't assigned to me again.

I remember in 2016 I got fired for posting something nice about Jasmine Guy on the internet. I said the sweetest thing because she was one of my favorite actors. At the time I was still learning how to post things on the internet. I was at work and my boss saw it, because I invited him onto my Facebook page. I was let go because of HIPPA laws. It was a sweet statement, however, it didn't matter. Anyway, I learned a huge lesson back then with social media, and I don't really use it that much at all. These women had great careers and threw it down the drain for TikTok. I have a son who is 25- years-old. I remember the day I gave birth. He is my only child. I was nervous and praying that I didn't lose my life giving birth. Giving birth is extremely dangerous and should be treated as so. I know nurses jobs are demanding but you went to school for years for a career. You work in a service environment. If you don't want to help people then find another career. It's just that simple. Whatever I feel, I keep it to myself. Pray for your patients. Don't talk about them or disrespect them live. I hope all nurses learn from this. Giving birth is not a game it can be deadly. Show some respect for mothers and the miracle of life 🙏.

My guess as to why they were fired. People will remember this hospital and these nurses, and will think twice about have a baby there. That takes money away from the hospital. If they do deliver there, they may be more biased to leave a negative review of the experience, which will also take away potential revenue. It opens these nurses up to potentially dangerous situations if past patients return with a vendetta. Better for the sake of these women and their employer to wipe the slate clean. At least the women who has masks on could potentially deny it.

Even though I had a commode sat right next to my bed I needed a nurse to help me into it. I couldn’t bare any weight. Multiple times I ended up peeing myself because my night nurses would ignore my call light frequently. Yeah, this place fired them, but they’ll get a job somewhere else in no time. Nursing shortages and all.
This is the kind of attitudes that keeps people from seeking medical help.
One night a few years back I began having what I later learned was PVC’s. Having never had them before, it scared me. I go to the ER and it was as if I was invisible. I was the only person there. Eventually I was put in a room and hooked up to a monitor. I could hear them out there carrying on, which I get, but I really wanted to talk to someone and try to understand what was going on. A little while later someone came in and took me off the monitor and then the doctor came in and told me it was probably indigestion and gave me a sheet on how to control it. I felt so stupid even though I knew it wasn’t indigestion. I could SEE the weird rhythm being recorded on the tape. But I also knew that whatever it was, I wasn’t getting any help or answers there.
There’s something about the loud raucous laughter and conversations at the nursing station that feels so isolating. I’m not saying they should be all business all the time, of course not, but damn. I’m in here scared and y’all out there playing grab ass.

There are too dumb for the nursing profession. None of them realise how wrong there are, choose your friends right in life. Have smart people around you that will tell you when you wrong. This is too hard to watch. I'm glad there were fired, but they should be removed from practicing in their lifetime, they have no empathy, no intelligence for the nursing profession.
Shout out to the majority of nurses for their hardwork and compassion for their patients. My few times in hospital, I've encountered the most most beautiful souls i.e nurses. Most of nurses are really good compassionate people. Welldone to good nurses and all other medical professionals.
