You may have gotten the correct answers but I’m gonna say you’re categorically wrong because I believe it’s really some other geometry that works in incomprehensible ways to reproduce precisely what the globe geometry did. But how does it do any of that, and do I even have a map to illustrate what’s happening, hell no. In fact, none of us can agree on anything beyond globe wrong, it has to be flat.
      Flatties summed up.

Consistently getting the correct answer doesn’t mean you’re right. You can only be right if it allows for fe. If everything that allows for fe model consistently fail, then it must be some massive conspiracy…because it has to be flat.

In conspiracy land, independently arriving at the same result is signs of a conspiracy. Instead we should feel proud when nobody understands what’s going on and there’s a million, inept competing (how they’re competing when none achieve anything is unknown) guesses. That’s the real sign that it’s not a conspiracy and we’re on our way to truth. Not getting the correct answer, but having a bunch of non answers.
      Seems legit.

Sorry, don't know why I feel inclined to post this comment tonight, maybe tomorrow I regret. Maybe tomorrow I'll go and delete it.
    But:
According to everything we know about geometry EARTH JUST ISN'T FLAT.
    Case closed.
And according to everything we know about biology a corpse can't rot away in a tomb for 1½ to 3 days and then spring back to my Iife all of a sudden. (Same for somebody splitting the moon, not to appear one-sided.)
And I now hear Christians say: _But that's a miracle only God can do and therefore it proves God is real._
So, just for the sake of argument let's accept that. It directly leads to:
_Earth is flat but God can make it to appear spherical. It's a miracle. It proves God is real._
Please, can anybody explain to me what's the actual difference between these two lines of argument? Beyond today there are more Christians living all around the globe than flat Earthers?
About two thousand years ago Christians were a minority. Exactly that argument would have made their belief wrong then.
Did it turn "right" just because the number of Christians grew over the centuries? Will earth become flat some day if the number of flat Earthets grows and grows beyond all bounds??
    Surely not!!!
And then what about Islam, coming up 500 years after Christianity anf now may be growing out Christianity in a century, just because of their higher birth rate!
And what about the half or full dozen of Individuals living RIGHT NOW with the claim to be reincarnations of Jesus? What if THEY are right and "the only way to the father is to follow THEM"?
I can actually see a good number of reasons to believe the Earth is flat against all evidence. But those are EXACTLY the same reasons as to believe a corpse rotting away for 1½ to 3 days in a tomb suddenly springs back to life OR somebody split the Moon.
Sorry if I offended anybody and maybe I delete this comment tomorrow. But if you read it until then you're now infected with a mind virus you never can get rid off in all of your remaining life.
Didn't I say you better not read this just at the start?

The body was entombed near sunset the evening of the Crucifixion without proper preparation.
Next day was the Sabbath so nothing could be done that day. Early the following morning the Women who were to properly prepare the body found the tomb open and the body missing.

      Simple...
a majority of Christians don't think the earth is flat..
      case closed.
As for the rest of your post..Faith is for some hard to grasp..I does require.. Faith.
FYI..as a Christian no offense taken. You just asked what is on your mind.
Oh I routinely point out to Cristian FEs that God's very creations sun moon & starts contradict a flat earth & science relies on taken observations of those very same creations to validate science's ideas.

I feel already a bit like abusing the comment thread and therefore am reluctant to expand it too much. But I also feel misunderstood and to owe an apology, or rather an explanation, to all the good people in the world, whatever religion they have ... given they don't use their belief to claim superiority for themselves, which in turn gives them the right to carry out violent acts against "non believers".
My point was 100% not about whether Christians - in their vast majority - belief the earth is flat. NOT AT ALL.
OK, then what was the point I wanted to make.
It was rather that no matter what evidence you present to flat Earthers (or pointing out the improbability of the deep-going conspiracy necessary to 'hide the true shape of the Earth") they will not be convinced. They tell that every day and in that point they are exactly the same as someone who takes up a religious believe (eg. based on a claim of "personal revelation") and because of that tells you blankly no argument ever will convince him or her otherwise. So just don't try.
Take that "Final Experiment". Already now theories are flying around to "protect" the belief in a flat Earth even if the sun should be visible.circling close to the horizon 360° around a person, visible for 24 hours without interruption. It is quite obvious they won't accept ANY other much more rational explanation, requiring from them to give up that believe: THEY THEMSELVES are the ones having the superior knowledge and once everybody accepts the truth hidden so desperately by the powers that be, once that is unveiled, the world will be a much better place.
So my main point is more or less I expect some day a hard core group of them will take the last resort _"I JUST KNOW it's flat, no matter whatever you show me to convince me that it isn't."_
You can replace the ressuraction I took as an example with any other wondrous storiy of some "holy book" used to indoctrinate children, hammering into their brains "everything written there is the truth, the only truth, nothing but the truth" and they will defend these stories with the last resort _"yes, I know, it sounds unbelievable all that has happened that way, but then just take it as a miracle by which a 'higher power' shows it's superiority."_
As I said, I don't want to offend Christians, not in the least. But if today, at a crime scene a corpse would first be brought away early (potentially bribing the guards) and 36 hours later has completely vanished, but then comes back alive again, a very probable explanation would be "maybe that corpse had been not the person it has been believed or said to be in the first place" espacially if decades go by during which the events were only reported by the word of mouth.
Again, I really don't want to offend Christians by writing that, but from the same perspective we also shouldn't tell flat Earthers they believe in a fiction. If they want so, they should do it. We have no more or lesser right to hurt their feelings than an atheist has to tell a Christian or Muslim or whatever they believe in a fiction.
That brings me back to the beginning: there are places on Earth were (claimed) "religions of peace" are commonplace but where you risk to be lynched by a mob if you bring up thoughts like that in public, which makes me quote E,.O. Wilson:
_We humans have paleolythical emotions, medival institutions, and god-like technology, and that has become horribly dangerous for the future of all mankind."_ (rephrasing the end a bit, which I don't remember word by word).

    • @Hirsutechin
      @Hirsutechin 3 місяці тому

Why you’d lump flat earth with historical Christianity is beyond me: the bible doesn’t say the earth is flat despite any desperate attempts to make it do so. The resurrection has plenty evidence and testimony to support it, plus you just have to ask why people were prepared to die rather than deny it, and did so in horrifying numbers.

    • @mittelwelle_531_khz
      @mittelwelle_531_khz 3 місяці тому +1

@@Hirsutechin first if all: Thanks for taking the time to respond, I appreciate that.
This is not the platform to discuss the ressuraction in depth but I'd be glad to meet you elsewhere if you want to defend the "plenty of evidence for the resurrection". In my judgement there is little to none.
Eg. some other "holy books" on which widespread religious believes of other religions are based, most prominently Islam and Mormonism, do not say Jesus died on the cross and was resurrected. And wrt. the gospels in the Bible you probably know they were written between years 60 and 80 or 90 and may have assumed the form in which they became part of the NT even later, with additions made up to 100 years after the event they report. Furthermore the author's names were assigned arbitrarily at a point and do not refer to apostles with the same name.
Last not least, If you primarily take the Bible as evidence for the resurrection, you have also to defend why you believe ONE holy book but not eg. the Book of Mormons and the Quran.
Shouldn't any source claiming to be God's word or written by people inspired by a superior being given the same weight to prove the validity of the stories told?

Hiya 😀. Yeah, I haven't opened up GeoGebra since the last video and wasn't intending to do anything else this year if I'm being honest. FE can be really depressing sometimes and I find listening to those people spout nonsense has a negative effect on me. It's good to get away from it sometimes. Really looking forward to Will Duffy's TFE though so that's a positive that might yield something if Fe'ers are willing to make some claims. But don't you think they've gone a little quiet lately. I do. That's probably down to TFE and they're no doubt waiting for the results. Anything that shuts them up has to be a good thing 😊. What's your idea?

I have used Tinyurl because You tube can block comments with links. To cut a long story short I live 90 miles from Skegness, and I have some camera equipment, I was looking to recreate the original video to either prove/disprove the windfarm or globe. I have another person interested in this, as a technical adviser, but he is in Austrailia. If you want to check out his channel it is Andrew Johnston or Edurado Igrisu. I will be shocked if you haven't seen him around or if he hasn't commented on your work before. If you can just take a look at the link and tell if you think there is any value in mapping it out in 3D, would be good enough. If you wanted to join in fully you are more than welcome :)

@@Hold_My_Pocket Ah, I just seen this! I was checking back for about a week after my reply and couldn't see anything so hope you don't think I ignored you on purpose. You know, I did actually try mapping this out at the time. I went to all the wind farm maps Andrew and Wally used, put the coordinates etc into excel and I did put something together in geogebra but I couldn't see a way to make it visually appealing due to its scale and 3d camera limitations etc. I had the project files on my desktop for a good couple of months too so I didn't give up on the idea straight away but eventually deleted it when decluttering.
Yeah, I've been a fan of AJ since he did that survey presentation on Flatzoid's channel. He's very knowledgable. It was from that survey presentation that gave me a better understanding of spherical excess which led to me making the video, _"Measuring Spherical Excess: FE Tests & Jeranism"_
I was pleasantly surprised he used this video to do his livestream predictions the other day.
If I learn any techniques that will help with this I'll be sure to let you know.
