- Considered by many to be the worst confidant in the entire game. While looking into her, I found her quite charming. In some way she epitomizes the harsh realities of a working adult making her more relatable the older you get. Plus she’s a dog person, sorry Morgana. With that here are my reasons why Ichiko Ohya is waifu material.

Out of all the girls in P5, shes the most real.
I think thats the real take away from it all. Shes the most realist of them all. Might not be all glamour like the other girls or cliche/extreme like the adult women, shes just, normal.
Waifus are good because they have qualities that nobody has in real life or that are extremly rare, so that's what make Ihya is bad Waifu because shes to real, we want a elven milf that we can jerk off and cry of our pathetic existence and buy merch, that is the purpose of Waifu, If you want someone real you need to do something that none persona fan can, have interactioms with someone of the opposite sex

I don't care about any of the other girls. Ichiko ticks all my boxes. She's cute, funny, diligent, not to mention the most realistic. She feels like someone I could actually meet and go out with. I can forgive a bit of drinking, she's worth it! 😊
Just the other day, I was just thinking about you making a video like this. Glad someone said it lol. She was somehow the who I 1st romanced when I originally played P5. Like yeah her confidant abilities are useless but her story is actually really good. Plus she's the whole reason the Phantom Thieves knew who Kaneshiro was,and if you max her out it shows her going to Ren's hometown and tracking down the woman that incident that caused his probation happened with. She's overhated imo. I'm just gonna say it, I love Ohya
do people actually hate her? As a makoto fan I just see hating any character in this game as such a waste of energy. They're decent, fictional people. They only ever do right by you. I get that she's underloved, but I'd be really sad if there's people who do actually hate her. Like, makoto I can get why, some fellow simps are really pushy about their waifus of choice and she's extremely popular, but poor ohya? Ohnestly (see what I did there?) she's one of the romance options I wanna replay the game for, alongside (in this order) Yoshizawa, Hifumi, Takemi and Chihaya.

Ohya is a good confidant, and utility wise, her ultimate secret fusion is one of the best!
I've always adored Ohya's confidant perks. I'm horrible at sneaking around and love running past trouble instead of fighting, so being able to minimize the punishment is a great upside.
People overlook how my girl Ohya is literally the one who find and convince the lady from Joker's backstory to finally testify against Shido and clear his name.
Ok sure it happens even if you don't max Ohya confidant, but when you do it's clear that she's the one who found her first.

She's the worst confidant in terms of perks. If you're in any way good at the game, her perks are useless. In terms of story, she's in the top third (better than Makoto, worse than Hifumi)

I don't really know Persona 3's harem route.
Coz being a player is still better than becoming the single most memed example of "memento mori" in Megami Tensei games (or JRPG world for that matter).
Pretty sure they don't find out in P3 and there was no way to friendzone in that game so if you went for max social links the harem was unavoidable, also pretty sure it's canon.

Still Other than her request slowing down her confident in being relatively easy to Max out she still only becomes available by the 3rd palace and by then there's a quite a few waifus that come up before.

Guess it's just the way things played out during the confidant relationship building stages.
Despite me talking to everyone, she ended up being the first female confidant that I maxxed out.
I dated Chihaya, Ann and Hifumi in the same 1st playthrough as well lol.
Just because Ohya was the first, doesn't mean that she was the only.
My first run through of Royal I was monogamous and only wifed up one Woman , Tae Takemi, and it was intentional.
