During the summer, and for the first time since 2019, the Museum brought back their Night Wings summer events. This takes place after hours. Check the museum website for more info.
Plan to spend a good 2-3 hours because there are other hangars to explore as well.

Usually watch on our 78" TV, so Tucson always looks big and wonderful! Do the military jets in practice fly over homes? If so, where? I'd add that to areas to avoid purchasing. (In Illinois still.) Do you know why all the glass in the planes are whited out? Love your vids!
The white coating you see is called "spraylat" and is used to help seal out dust, sunlight and high temperatures. This help preserves the aircraft indefinitely.
There is a map online that shows areas of town where military fly over., (primarily midtown, going down to about interstate 10). A lot of people here like watching the different air crafts fly over; it’s kind of cool to see the shows 😁
