I said this on one of Tom’s videos - he’s like the Clarkson’s Farm for London Cabbies. A real bloke, doing a real job, and educating people along the way. Many of us take Cabbies for granted.
Tom is a really talented UA-camr and explains so well the whole world of Cabbies and the moral code and ethics of it that still exist. The one thing that sticks out is how hard you have to work, how many outgoings there are and how hand to mouth it can be. Respect.

@CockneyCabbies I know London cabbies like obscure facts about London so if you ever pick up a fan you can reliably inform them that when The Who played at the old Charlton Athletic ground in 1976 it was listed in the Guinness book of records as the loudest concert ever. They stopped listing this entry as bands started playing at ridiculously high volumes. Another obscure fact. Def Leppard guitarist Phil Collen is a Londoner who joined the well known Sheffield band in the 80s. He is actually pictured on Deep Purples classic 'Made in Japan' live album. The photos for the old vinyl album were taken at the Brixton Sundown which I think now is the Brixton o2 academy.
Tom's the new Fred Housego, typical Essex boy but great ambassador for the London taxi trade. London taxis should be allowed to drive down every street in London and other private hire vehicles should have numbers limited.🥸🇬🇧
