You've inspired me to get back into building models after about 25 years since we're in lock down. Quite a bit off your standard though, bloody brilliant!
Getting a lot of joy from your F1 builds! Tempted to get myself a kit for when my kids are older and I will actually have the time to attempt something as detailed as this.
Very very nice, a lot of hard went into this. Thirty some years ago I did several Nascar models. Painted the engines, detailed the interior etc. My son in law has them in clear display cases and they still look great today. Granted I didn't go to this much detail but those kits weren't as detailed as this one. Oh yes, back when I could see with my eyes. Great job young man.
Not only amazing skills in the build, but also in the lighting, filming and editing, which must have also taken a considerable amount of time and patience.
I used to make many tamiya, fujimi 1/20 and 1/24 race car kit during high school, but now I’m too lazy, thanks for your channel so I can enjoy the process.
do not be discouraged I get better everyday. Just remember it's supposed to be fun. I don't show many people my work and I am my biggest critic. When you do something well you will be very satisfied
Thanks man, really good video and many thanks for listing the aditional detail parts. Thanks to you I've purchased the goods to follow your steps! Senna's car is something I've always wanted to build. Please continue sharing the steps, it's really nice to learn like this!
The amount of detail with the aftermarket parts makes so much a better model. Love the quality of the white and florescent orange on the body shell. Can I ask what Airbrush you use and at what pressure you spray at? Can't wait to see part two. Keep up the great work
Great work (as usual) with loads of extra details (as usual) - this is going to look stunning when it's done - as usual!. Great vid thanks for sharing.
You are UNREAL! I truly love your work. Full respect to your professionalism! I wish I can send you my unboxed Senna's McLaren MP4/7 to you! No kidding!
Awesome build of my favourite car!!! I have the kit, but with my current skill, it's intimidating.... :) Hope to see the second part soon! I am learning many things through your videos.
If I may humbly offer a tip for sharper tape lines. Once you have your base color areas taped off, shoot a light coat of the same base color to seal the edges. Then spray your contrasting color.
That’s awesome Dan, this kit fits together horribly.. just a heads up if you do get one. I spent quite some time figuring out how to get the cowl to close with all the parts inside. Front suspension also requires modification to sit a bit lower
Thanks! This one is actually still available on plazajapan.com. I like to browse local shops, forums or eBay to find older kits or stuff out of production
Your skill is absolutely awesome! I see many channels and different professionals. I also do modeling for formula 1 cars in 1/20 scale. But what you are doing it is something special ))
It's day-glo red, does come pretty close to orange. They used that instead of a regular red because it popped much more on the TV. Ducati used to run a similar colour on MotoGP up until 2018, IIRC
@@CicaeMeow It's so weird seeing the Ferrari's in real life - they're super orange, then when TV does all of it's processing it comes out as the Ferrari red we all know.
Hi Ziggy, Do you want to know the secret trick to avoid bleeding paint? no matter how sharp the curves are, or how you apply the tape, bleeding paint will never happen!
Mind blowing, the amount of detail you put into this... I would never have the patience or steady hands to do this! You've got my respect!
Thank you for making content that unites my car-loving hobby and such a therapeutic vibe into one. Love these.
every little detail and sophistication is completed through your hands to create a perfect product , that's great !
Been waiting a Senna's car since I subscribed to your channel, and I knew you wouldn't disapoint me. Thanks for such beautiful builds, keep it up!
Thanks Franco, still more work to do, but I'll do my best. Appreciate the comment!
I agree, extraordinary work 🔥👍
The skill, dexterity and patience on show here are mind-blowing. Thanks for the amazing videos.
You've inspired me to get back into building models after about 25 years since we're in lock down. Quite a bit off your standard though, bloody brilliant!
One of my favorite F1 cars of all time! Proper respect to Ayrton, very nice work he would have loved the finished product
I am in awe of the steadiness of mans hands. Incredible.
Everyone: this is insane level of quality and detail
UA-camr: "I need more practice"
Of course he wants to practice more. If he’s not happy with his work, then let him practice and make one that satisfies himself.
Well, practicing is what got him that good in the first place. More practice ensures more improvements.
And that's what I like. No music, no talking. Just silence, focus and calmness. Have my sub, sir!
I second your comment Mateusz. Brilliant. Lots of others could learn from Ziggy's Desk approach to a great vid. Steady hand.
I'm Brazilian and Senna is my idol, you're doing a great job, I'm looking forward to seeing you finished👏
Getting a lot of joy from your F1 builds! Tempted to get myself a kit for when my kids are older and I will actually have the time to attempt something as detailed as this.
One of the most wonderful cars ever to race F1. Really nice paint job, that Marlboro orangeish red is quite hard to pull, but it looked spot on.
Thanks Carlos!

Aside from the fabulous work, these are beautifully filmed and edited. Well done. Looking forward to the completed model!!👍👍
Your work is so detailed and wonderful! I'm on my second model ever and so far I've not been doing too good.

The detail is breathtaking. Amazing! Enjoyable for watching your video.
What a difference having a real wheel nut makes. Great work, cant wait for Part 2.
WOW, it's so real. Especially, I like your surface processing. I'd like to watch the next. Thank you !!

The amount of detail is amazing. Those metal brake parts look insanely difficult to get right.
Looking forward to the second part.

Keep up the great work
Thanks man, I use a gsi creos ps-289 for most of the body painting besides primer. pressure is around 14-18psi depending on the paint
Quel travail formidable. Cette attention du détail.. Une patience de fou. Le résultat est incroyable. Hi from France.
Great stuff. Delicate details, the final rendering is fantastic. I loved the airbox !
I just found out your channel, you're amazing!

Awesome! I have the Tamiya MP4/6! Thank your for filming your build!
You put in so much detail that is almost gets offensive because I know I won't ever be as good as you at these things
Great build and video. No daft music. Just you building in incredible detail. A legend of a car driven by a legend of a driver.. Now, where's part 2.
Your work is amazing!! So cool your doing Senna's car, one of the best ever drivers for sure! Love it, and you have the cutest dog on the planet!!:)

I'm working on the tamiya mp4/7 right now. I watched your video and you gave me the solution for masking the body. Thanks!!
Awesome build of my favourite car!!! I have the kit, but with my current skill, it's intimidating.... :)

Great video Chris, I like the cinematic elements and the ASMR sound effects of your videos. I look forward to seeing more of this build. -James
PS: I watched it on a 55" and it is even better than on a phone.
Thanks James!
Staggeringly good work. Waaaaay above my pay grade. Those brakes look fantastic. Thanks for the video.

Always perfect!! You are the best, thanks for your videos!!
This is great stuff! Very inspiring and motivational to watch. Now I'm off to the hobby bench to work on a project. :)
Your videos are like a therapy. Guys can you suggest me hobby channel name like Ziggy's?
You're next level! Loving the videos; where on earth are you finding these awesome kits? I thought some of them weren't even made anymore.
Are you going to do something in 1/12?
Thank you so much David! I think the goal is to eventually do a super detailed 1/12, not quite there yet in terms of skill, but some day 👍🏻
Yay finally another video great one too as always
Ayrton Senna do Brasil
Very, Very Nice Build!!!!!
Awesome, as always!
Anyone know more channels that do this? I need more of this in my life.
It's interesting that they are calling that colour Marlboro red, it seems more like a deeper version of orange
It's day-glo red, does come pretty close to orange. They used that instead of a regular red because it popped much more on the TV. Ducati used to run a similar colour on MotoGP up until 2018, IIRC
@@deabreu.tattoo ah thank you :) do you have an rgb code for it?
@@CicaeMeow It's so weird seeing the Ferrari's in real life - they're super orange, then when TV does all of it's processing it comes out as the Ferrari red we all know.
You are so good 👍🏼👍🏼 love your vids
Omgggg Senna is my hero
Hi Ziggy,
Do you want to know the secret trick to avoid bleeding paint? no matter how sharp the curves are, or how you apply the tape, bleeding paint will never happen!
He does super light coats of diluted paint and build it up by many many layers of coats of paint.
Amazing!! like from Brazil
Brasil:D
Great job👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Great job looks awesome, could make the lighting a bit brighter
When is Part 2 coming, stunning work!
Thanks James, soon! working on it right now
You need the eyes of a hawk and the hands of a surgeon working in this scale!
Good job !
Thanks my friend, learned a lot from your channel 🙏🏻
Exelent treball, exactitud i molta paciència.
