Everytime I watch your videos I always feel that they end too soon. Watching your videos/work makes people new to the industry very interested and ready to learn!
You’re the reason why I decided to jump into the Industry! Such an inspiration and I love how organized, as well as skillful in this trade! Keep up the hard work! I love it!!
I plan to move to Tennessee after my trade school graduation and I was wondering if you would ever take on an apprentice I would love to learn and work with you in the future but if you don’t then I’m sure I’ll find another company to work for but the quality work you do is just top notch… I wanna learn from the best. Anyways great video. Thank you for you showing and sharing your knowledge and experience in this trade.
I have a scrap guy that takes all my scrap and trash. A lot of times, he shows up to the job. Mostly I park my trailer at my shop, he picks it up, and then returns it empty. Trash included. I don’t touch but once. Don’t know how much I’m missing in scrap business but it works well for me.
I have a shop I keep all my scrap such as furnaces, outside acs , etc etc I break it all down and when you have a bunch of it and sort everything out you get a good amount of money back. Most I got back from returning scrap I got over 5-700$ just for 2 maybe 3 months of scrap.
I am newly introduced to your channel and this is my 3rd time watching your video. I like your tidiness and professionalism. I graduated from HVAC-R school recently. Your videos inspire me to get into to trade as soon as possible and start my career. Thank you for sharing the works you do. Goodluck Mustafa
my dad bought a big hydraulic dump trailer that he'd fill up every month and take to the dump. It really helped him keep up with his garbage you should look into getting one of those
My friend I like your videos I learned a lot with you like 1 year I have my certification and epa for work with hvac and you resolve my problems I hope work 1 day I'm your company
By the way I am a maintenance technician watching your channel is very informative and is helping towards the HVAC field honestly looking at the tristate area Salaries NY Nj and CT I work on furnace at the property I work for .. Trying to make a decision here
Regarding trash removal, have you thought about keeping a dumpster in a semi enclosed shed and, using your forklift to bring it to and from the street on garbage pickup day?
Guys I have a recycler who in exchange for hauling off our trash he gets all our scrap metal. Works great we call him before the job is finished and he comes and picks everything up. I have a dumpster now but rarely use it. Maybe there is a recycler who is willing to work something out like that.
In our area Ferguson is the absolute worst. Every time you call for anything the response is always "I Don't have it but I can order it." I'm thinking, yeah, I can order it too. Not sure why they call it a supply house?
Thanks for the video. Your fan blade placement was offas it was too close to the tip of the shaft. That will also affect the amp draw. Hope this helps someone. Thanks again.
Thought about breaking down the units and recycling/scrap metal the old equipment, we do that at my company. The day during the slow season we have work ya know
The copper in that condenser you tossed is worth at least $60!!! Hahahah Last company I worked for let me break down and toss old equipment and keep the copper. Some trips down to the scrap yard put 3-400 extra bucks in my pocket for a little extra work.
Down here jn Melbourne Australia we have a supplier that is NOTORIOUS for long wait times for your orders to come out….time and time again even paying ahead AND getting the sales reps to email confirmation that the gear is ready to go, ill rock up and STILL be waiting on average 30-40 mins…
8:12 If you stand upright and have a heart beat, you can be a counter guy at Ferguson. I agree with you about Ferguson, the staff there is questioninable.
In our area Ferguson is the absolute worst. Every time you call for anything the response is always "I Don't have it but I can order it." I'm thinking, yeah, I can order it too. Not sure why they call it a supply house?
Ferguson is perhaps the only distributor I am aware of, that tasks their counter team with unloading deliveries, pulling orders, and loading up contractors in addition to the already busy counter work they have to do. It’s too much for one position!
Could buy a hydraulic dump trailer and use it as your trash bin and make a monthly run and if you needed it for equipment or something, then you've got it for that too. Just a thought.
Had my fair share of troubles with Ferguson over the last 5-6 years. Orders come in late, materials are missing sometimes, and even had another contractor's order swapped with ours at one point...lol. I swear they hire college students and place them in sales positions just because they need a body to put in front of customers.

Advice for the young kid that works for u. Ask if u can keep that scrap and break it down on the weekends and scrap it. You would be surprised how much extra money per year he could earn.
9:16, You did not measure the position of the blade hub on the shaft. 11:21, You put the blade back on the new motor shallower on the shaft, the blade is hanging deeper and now you get a slight wobble. Blade is fine. Unless you bent one of the blades.
It’s not Fergusons fault lol he’s the owner he should know what he’s replacing and always verify before you leave the supplier. The fan is wobbling because the blade is too low on the shaft.
@@br5747 you cant have the fan blade attached to the very end of the shaft there is some play in new shafts and the shaft is not perfectly straight. This cause massive vibration and it wobbles like crazy. You have to put the blade as close to the motor as you can and it will be still and quiet. Try it out one time for the one time.
Ferguson is the worst....I will never go in there luckily I have a second option for Rheem parts in town ... I feel ya from start to finish on this one
Great video and details in regards to being a business owner 👍🏼 Furguson HVAC is a joke. They are slow as he** everywhere and non stock items take weeks! RSD or United for me.
I like your videos. You are neat and through, and a great technician. But you would be doing your knees a favor if you wore knee pads. I’ve been wearing them for over 50 years and I don’t have any problems with mine.
What would your suggestion being your running your own company how would u like an employee to approach you about the possibility of a raise wether how you would like it or how you handled asking for one in the past
Be a good hard worker and always have your eyes and ears open and act like you wanna be the best you can be and you don't need to worry about that. It doesn't go un noticed. If it does get a good job
Hey man if you could get back to uh Hvac videos and not your shop and truck drives I would watch your videos more often. No offense and please don’t take any offense I just want to see some service and or installation work. Trying to gain knowledge from you so get to the point. Not trying to scroll around your video just to find the point. Get to it lol
I think his being careful that he does show that Why you see lots of tread and driving and talking as long as the video still brining $$$ this is not how to is what you can accomplish if you work hard Working two jobs HVAC and I tube
Apparently, this is something for techs that want to be more than techs in the future. I'm learning what it's like to be in the field as well as what it's like to own what's done in the field when you and the techs are done. There's plenty of how-to's out there for you, bruh. Have fun being just a tech.
It’s hard to film videos at customers homes and be in depth at the same time he’s making money now so of course the quality will suffer Milwaukee everything you can tell he balls out on everything to show off. I don’t even know anyone who would pay all that money for packout gear. Literally easily over 10,000 on Milwaukee packout stuff lol. UA-cam must be paying good.
All you need to do is work two full time jobs plus over time for five years no time off have a family and three children and wife we can talk than how did you made it to the top
Everytime I watch your videos I always feel that they end too soon. Watching your videos/work makes people new to the industry very interested and ready to learn!
I just finish school for HVAC and I start my job soon and your channel is a blessing from the gods 🙏🏽 instant subscribe
Come on, Ferguson!! Get it together 💯😂
Heres a man that knows his way around a Milwaukee Packout system. Love the organization.
You’re the reason why I decided to jump into the Industry! Such an inspiration and I love how organized, as well as skillful in this trade! Keep up the hard work! I love it!!
Same!
I never even thought of using a service wrench for tightening/loosening the set screw. That’s awesome
I plan to move to Tennessee after my trade school graduation and I was wondering if you would ever take on an apprentice I would love to learn and work with you in the future but if you don’t then I’m sure I’ll find another company to work for but the quality work you do is just top notch… I wanna learn from the best. I have the same system. It’s worth it to me on whatever scrap I’m losing. No dumpster, trash, etc..

Love the super clean and organized shop and van 🫡🤙🏼 keep up the great videos.
ferguson over here in southern california sucks as well. We try and not do business with them anymore because its so bad.
In our area Ferguson is the absolute worst. Every time you call for anything the response is always

I'm thinking, yeah, I can order it too. Not sure why they call it a supply house?
Keep your over hard down don’t get a big commercial space. I’m irk out of my house I bought a used dump trailer and take it to the dump once a month.
I enjoy watch your progress professional and personally.
Thanks for the video. Your fan blade placement was offas it was too close to the tip of the shaft. That will also affect the amp draw.
Hope this helps someone. Thanks again.
Love your videos brother! Keep them coming all 2023! HVAC installer from California 👍🏽
Have you thought about redoing your drive way to allow a trash truck to go down it? Awesome vids!!
Thought about breaking down the units and recycling/scrap metal the old equipment, we do that at my company. The day during the slow season we have work ya know

Leave it for the crackheads who need it 🤣
That's what I do, keep all coils and scrap copper and even the fan motors. Let them pile up take them to the scrap yard when I'm slow.
You should take all the old coils out of the units and save them up and when you're slow take them to the scrap yard. Big bucks in scrap copper coils.
Not really these days
The Milwaukee pack out bin full of dog food is the most tradesman thing I’ve ever seen
Really loving the shop bro, I've watched you come a long way and I'm gelous of that shop man. Good for you keep it up brotha
Always got great videos as always!! I've always been very interested in HVAC work
Nice replacement and congrats on the shop , it's looking good ... Thx ...

Ferguson is so slow even in the Virginia area
The shop looks fire bro
As always Zac good content and great value.
Which open style Veto bag were you using in this video? Did you retire or repurpose your Veto backpack?
Specifically what type of drill is that small Milwaukee one you use? I love how small yet powerful it is.
lots of suppliers around here have roll off dumpsters we are allowed to use

Got lucky having a scrap guy down here that will pick up my coil/condensers.
Your shop looks great 👊🏾👊🏾
Lol. You hired basically a camera man 🤣🤣
That just the furguson way, 45 min wait times are their guarantee!
Didn't know you could tighten blade hub with ratchet 🍻
Had my fair share of troubles with Ferguson over the last 5-6 years. Just got my contractors license. My plan is to run a business how you do it just a one man show for now.
Do you have the link for those clear top ranger storage

Ive seen him mention this and mark it with a marker in a previous video, im assuming he put it back correctly
How would that make the blade wobble?
Yeah ok super tech this guy would run circles around you
How would that make the blade wobble?
Where did you get the handle for your ot- mc? Thanks
What brand sliding tool box do you got, I am trying to get one for Chevy van express
It’s not Fergusons fault lol he’s the owner he should know what he’s replacing and always verify before you leave the supplier. The fan is wobbling because the blade is too low on the shaft.

Good video …. Awesome shop !!!
Great video and details in regards to being a business owner 👍🏼
Furguson HVAC is a joke. They are slow as he** everywhere and non stock items take weeks! RSD or United for me.
The scrapers come and get my stuff build a small fence put junk in it keeps it hid until junk man comes
What was that wrench you used on the set screw for that fan motor??
It’s a service wrench
You can also use a 3/8 ratchet wrench 🔧
Johnstone is the way to go!
Why does the fan blade need to be changed
Ferguson is just as slow in Philly
Try to come to with in agreement with a scrap guy , the metal scrap for exchange to take ur trash as well it will work for the both of ya .
F.W. Webb for us. biggest life line but biggest thorn in our side aa well.
have you thought about a dump trailer?
I love milwaukee but did i just witness your dogs food in a milwaukee packout tool box?
Get a few contacts of scrap metal guys. Your trash could be somebody else treasure! I am pretty sure they will pick up on site for you
I’m glad it’s not just me, Ferguson is so slow.
This man has a pack out for his dogs food🤣
Hello sir everything you doing so great set

they let me throw card board and stuff at the supply house because i buy everything there, remicheals good guys.
I avoid ferguson like the plague for this reason

Furguson is slow everywhere
I assume the worst from hvas repairers.. Im up in my attic with them and I'm outside with them. I do not trust them to just do the job to be honest.
They just bought airefco
Assumption is the mother of all fuck ups
Should of went to Ed's supply.
Holy Milwaukee lmao
👍
Ferguson is horrible as a supply house in general.
😊👍🌹
Ferguson too big
I dont see where the title HVAC technician comes from...your just a parts changer...thats all.
So how is a technician defined in your mind?
Also, it's "you're".
Hey man if you could get back to uh Hvac videos and not your shop and truck drives I would watch your videos more often.
