Best tutorial on mitered corners.
Interesting way to mitre the corner. Thanks for showing and explaining.
I really appreciate your approach to your projects. No fuss, no muss, you just get in there and get it done!!
Love the beautiful fall colors and love your creativity!! Thanks for sharing!
You are like the foster mother to these orphan blocks. After you caring for them, they come out well-loved and more beautiful and strong than when they arrived. I really enjoy watching the development of these little urchins. Well done!
Thank you for sharing. Another idea to help in our quilting world. Beautiful quilt! Looking forward to your future videos.
Mitered corners always look so good. It’s a little more time consuming, but we’ll worth it. Your quilt is beautiful. Thank you for sharing.
Beautiful quilt. I love all the warm colors. Thank you for your videos. I really enjoy them and learn a lot from them. Love from Chicago.
Always learn so much watching your videos. Beautiful colors thank you for sharing
First of all, I love the quilt. It is beautiful. I always enjoy seeing how you join various prints and blocks to create one unique and lovely project. Second, Thank you for showing the mitered border. I have yet to try it, and I think it give the quilt such an elegant look. I really appreciate your vlog. Thanks for sharing!
What an amazing quilt, yet again.
Beautiful quilt Beth and brilliant mitered corners Thank you for sharing with us x
Thank you! That is just the inspiration I need to finish a purple tone quilt for my friend's birthday next week
I really like mitered borders. I don't know why I haven't been doing them more on my Quilts. Think I'll start doing these. Thanks for the encouragement.
Again, you are so clever!!! That border with the mitred corners just made that whole quilt….
Wow, I've never seen mitered corners done like that. Cool
I’ve never thought to sew my border strips together first and then attach them. Thanks for sharing this mitered corner video. We appreciate it.
Thank you so much for showing how to do mitered corners!!!! So much easier than I had imagined. Another great video, Beth!!!
What a lovely quilt and great lesson.
Super helpful! Just the video to bring out the idea in my head. Simple to execute 🎉
Wow, to start with 4 orphan blocks, then turn it into this beautiful quilt. Color wise it is so fall inspired. Love the mitered corners, and I usually would sew the 3 colors individually, think next time will use this method. Looks like a time saver.
The miters really give an elegant look to a quilt. I have only mitered one quilt, and it was just one border. You did a great job showing the process. The quilt looks wonderful.
Your quilt turned out beautiful, love the miter corners, who knows maybe someday I’ll get brave enough to give it a whirl. I could try it first on a small project. Thanks for sharing your skills. 👍❤️😊
Love it… love the colors… you always make it look so easy!😁
Thanks for sharing this great informative video tutorial
Hey Beth!!! You have a beautiful quilt top. I haven’t made mitered corners much. Hope to try again on another day. Thanks for showing how they are made. -Stephanie
Love a good mitre! Looks amazing. Not a single thing I don't love about this quilt
Hello, I just finished sorting a massive amount of Christmas fabric from a friend. I think I'll be busy making Christmas quilts for the next few months! I hope you have a joyful week ahead! Thank you for sharing your video and for your talent.
Good morning MS Beth, love this beauty, you always make everything look so easy but this one looks hard for me, I will be watching this one again and again lol thank you☕🌞🌎😍
Thank you for a much easier way for me to do borders.
Very pretty quilt. Nice color combination
Thank you, Beth. Your instructions are always clear and easy to follow. ⚘
It turned out beautiful!
You make things look so easy, beautiful colors!
Beautiful job! I love those colors!
This is so awesome. You are so brilliant. I love your style.
I really like how you take what is in your mind and make it appear in fabric in such a lovely way. I am working on being able to do this too. I am not as creative as most people I know, but I am a good cook and baker and hand stitcher but I want to be way better in my quilting. I now have serious neurological problems with my upper extremities so my stitches aren’t as good as they used to be. I am trying to develop new ways to do the things I want to do, so now I have to apologize to my machine for every time I have yelled at her when she tried my patience. Maybe we can be besties again and I can get out of my safe place and really have some fun. Hope so!!
Wonderful option. I like the way you sewed the three borders together before sewing onto the quilt. That looks much easier. Thank you for sharing. You always have such great tips.
That looks really good, thank you for sharing your process with mitered corners. I probably speak for most of us when I say, we always learn from you!!
Very clever way to add three borders and mitre the corners. Beautiful quilt Beth.♥️🇦🇺
This Quilt Looks Amazing Beth, I love how that boarder turned out. ❤️🥰 Chris
I’ve cut thousands of miter cuts in wood to make wooden frames. This looks harder! I’m going to think about this. I love your beautiful colors Beth. You are amazing.
Thank you for sharing your process. The quilt is lovely. 😊💐
Your quilt is beautiful!! I've never seen miter corners done this way. Thanks for sharing.
Beautiful! Thank you
You have really made those orphan blocks come together in a stunning quilt, Beth! God bless.

Beth thank you for the refresher on mitered corners. Your quilt turned out lovely.
Thank you Beth. I wondered how it was done. I will give it a try on my quilt. If I ever get that far xx
Love your borders ♥️
I would never have thought to do boarders like that. I learn so much from your videos. Thank you 😊
Thanks for this tutorial, I was just thinking about how to do this last night!
Love how you made 3 rows for the mitred corners. I try to mitre if I have enough fabric! Beautiful as usual, Beth. Thanks for sharing your expertise. Xx🇦🇺
That turned out so stunning! Thank you for sharing this with us!
You made that look easy. Wonderful. This is going to b a beautiful quilt. Thank you for this video.

Another gorgeous quilt! You have an amazing eye for color! I have done one quilt with mitered borders and it took several tries to get it right!
Great finish 🤩
Very nice, clear instructions for mitered corners. Will be looking forward to trying this method. Also, never thought of making a strip set for multiple borders! Thanks!
👏👏👏 Beth, I look forward to one day trying this! ❤️😀
Beautiful quilt.
Thank you
The border looks AMAZING 👏👏👏 And I love the mitred corners 🤩 but I’m not sure if I’ll be trying them soon 😳 Thanks Beth, at least I know what to do if I ever want to try them 👍👍🇬🇧
Thanks Beth❤
I always learn something from you! I didn’t know that the width of the border (plus 1 inch) is the length of the border needed to mitre. Thx!
Corners look gteat
💗💗💗
Hi Beth. Wow, your quilt is so beautiful. You have magic hands thats for sure. Can I please ask a question? Being new to this, Ive never sewn strips together yet for the binding but watching you tube videos Ive seen them sewing the strips together in a diagonal position. I tried this with scraps and when I opened them the material weren't lined up!!! Ive no idea what I did wrong, but im assuming I didn't sew straightly or something like that. When I saw this video this morning, I was like, YES, Beth doesn't bother with the diagonal. You sewed your just in a straight line. Would you be able to tel me why people bother to sew it diagonally when your way seems so much simpler and easier to line up? Thanks so much for keeping me inspired. Day after day. Love your work and how easy you make it look x
It helps to sew binding strips on diagonal so that it won’t be as bulky. These border strips will be flat so I didn’t do the diagonal seam.
Could it be not lining up correctly due to cutting error?! I’m relatively new to quilting myself. I know others have spoke a lot about cutting accuracy?!? ❤️😀
@@rachelburgener819 hi Rachel. It could well be!!! I’m not sure. But Beth uses just 1 1/2 inch strips and I don’t think I could go very wrong with that. I know she also marked the centre with a black pen, which I did, but I still don’t seem able to keep them in a straight line. Ha ha. I’ll just keep watching and practicing. Thanks for your reply x
Belíssimo! Gostaria muito de aprender um pouco com vc é muito habilidosa e tem muito bom gosto , soou idosa , tenho pouco conhecimento pra lidar com Internet. Sou do Brasil . Vc é de qual nacionalidade?
Can the pattern for your quilt be found anywhere.
The blocks tor this quilt were given to me. I don’t have a pattern
@@bethshibleyquilts thank you for the quick response. I love the quilt. You are a natural teacher. Thank you for all you do for us who want to learn.
