Yeah this is one of the most tedious and exhausting tasks to do for NFS Carbon. I just wish that there was much simpler editing like copying and pasting music in the SOUND folder. If there was such thing.... there would have been justice but even the slightest mistake in hex editing made my game crash.... *sigh* 😒😒
I agree, but thank EA for making all interactive music files in 2-bar sized files the whole way through XD I love doing tedious work though if i am truly up for it. Have to try to find a song with the same BPM as the original track, make a prototype track of the new song to match the ones already in game, export each section as its own file, then hex edit into the game. The first time I did this with this first track took me 6 hours, but my Induction Kit replacement only took me 2 to 3, cause I kind of got into a rhythm of a, b, c, d, and e and repeat. it isn't for everyone X3
@@YTIinstrumentals or a multiple/specific division (depends on the time signature, e.g. for 4/4 you can have a half, 1/4, double or quadruple of the BPM) of the BPM
i took the tutorial and it worked for the title music, all of the music beyond that (free roam music, ect.) could not worked, because the music isn't in it's original offset, (due to the size and the length of the music i've used originally) do you have any software i can use that can cut down .asf files? or maybe even something that could export PROPER MP3 files? cause olive exports some fucked up ones ditty importer doesn't accept lmao
So how to add custom music?
Which .asf or .mus file is for the themes (Muscle, Exotic and Tuner)? I found them but they're separated. How do you make it play the full song?
