Even small homes need storage/utility closets for bedding, towels, mop, vacuum, etc.🫤

The microwave is difficult to access unless you’re six feet tall or you climb on the counter. The main bedroom door would need to be closed at all times. You can see straight into it from the front door. I like all the natural light in the dining room. It would be a good place to do jigsaw puzzles.

👍👍✅💯😮 Great job 🎉 only thing I'd change is the microwave put over the stove where it's easy to get at. Where you placed is extremely awkward 🤔

Just a suggestion…put the microwave in a better and easier accessible place. That is very awkward, especially with hot dishes!
Better yet - oven combo: make it a split convection & regular oven. Convection ovens are better all the way around.

What a beautiful, functional house. Its funny how a well designed smaller home can seem even more spacious and inviting than many homes with more square footage.

Wow. Nice. Change the living room lights to ones with a ceiling fan and move the microwave in the kitchen. It's inaccessible there, and a pain to clean. I'm not in love with the fireplace, a simple pellet stove or even gas fireplace for whole house heat would be better there. I assume the hot water heater is in that closet by the laundry room.. All in all, this house is great. The best small house I've seen yet.

2nd bathroom - toilet might be a tad too close to the vanity - right handed wipers will be screwed. Otherwise, great small home and love the wide plank wood flooring.

Yes, as other have said, the microwave location is odd. Unless one is seven feet tall with very long arms, it is non functional. Did anyone notice that the vent hood over the stove is not the correct size? It is wider, on one side, than the stove top. What is with that?

I have one big question. What do you designers of small homes have against energy efficient entryways? Opening the door directly into the house is horribly inefficient, especially in extreme weather, be it hot or cold. On top of that, walking in with wet or snowy shoes and boots will ruin a wood floor in short order. There needs to be an airlock of sufficient size to allow for a change of footwear before opening an inner door into the house proper. At least this one has a decent, if not great, kitchen.

How much would it cost to build this house 🤔❤️💯❤️

  • @tillfalligt1148

In my country, you can't find a house to buy - or an apartment - without an entrence area for all the outdoor clothing. You also never wear shoes inside the house, because the house would become dirty fast.
So watching houses without a cloak room or a proper hanging space for all the outdoor clothing and realize you walk straight into a living room feels puzzling to this mother of five.
Should one look at the pile of shoes and clothes from the sofas or is it always summer where theese houses are?
Where should guests take off their outerwear?
Are the houses intended for people without children?
