This looks more artistically appealing than most AAA games.
It certainly does
While most AAA games go for gritty rendered 3D realism, the indy scene has some really great 2DCG art. I mean, just look at Hades for example.
It is, except for the times the art style makes it hard to see the baddies because everything looks the same
2d art is appealing to many, a couple of games could learn from classical roots by just changing their perspective

Love how no matter what horrifying nightmarish thing the cult just witnessed the animation always ends with a singsong "Ah!"

In defence of the lamb, if some other cult was trying to sacrifice me, I would fight to kill them just as an F you. Making a cult to rival them is just salt in the wound.
not to mention the MC is the last sheep, so his kind got genocided-
I was about to recommend the game to my nephew who's 7yo but after a couple of hours playing the game, one cult member started telling me one member is a fake/spy. Only then it hit me that the game devs really did take the cult theme srsly. 🤣 Then it tells you about sacrifices and cannibalism. Tf! I enjoyed it though. But def not for kids.
I legit felt bad at some point with the Wolf-quest and last Heretic in a row and my deeds being pointed out a bit too much.
you would give a game full of satanic symbols and symbolism to a seven year child?!

This game is definitely going to become the video game version of South Park, with outraged mums lining up to try and ban it.

My goodness I can't totally relate to "it's like you're their mom" when taking care of the cultists!
I made them extra food before going to the final boss because I didn't know if I was going to come back and wanted them to have a bit of food after my possible departure 😭

It might have been a short game but I really enjoyed what it had to offer. Hoping they end up adding some DLC to further the experience.

@@manga3040 if you change your play style and experiment with different stuff not at all.
If you do the same things over and over then yes.
It’s like using only the sword in an adventure game when you also have an axe, spear, heavy sword, etc. It’ll get repetitive if you don’t switch it up you know.
